Watch out. Some shady business practices. They won’t tell you an average price range on the phone (wasn’t asking for a quote just general idea of price range for snaking a drain) but are now charging people $718 for a simple snaking of a single sink. Total rip off you are much better working with a small local business.

The tech was great. Very neat and clean. Arrived on time, explained everything and when additional work was required to unclog the toilet, he explained why and what the cost would be. Mark was professional and knowledgeable.

I called with a plumbing issue and spoke to Steve Grossman. He sent someone right out to my house to assess the situation. He explained that it was a big job that needed a 2 man crew to correct and they could repair it first thing in the morning. I felt comfortable with the explanation and felt confident in using this company. They came first thing in the morning and were professional and courteous. They did exactly what Steve said they would do and the problem was resolved within several hours. I would certainly recommend them for any plumbing issues.

Having purchased a new, very basic Delta kitchen faucet at Home Depot for $100, I engaged Roto-Rooter to install it. The installation was expensive (!) and done poorly, resulting in a loss of pressure and subsequently a nasty leak about 75 days later. I called Roto-Rooter for the repair insisting on a different plumber. A new technician arrived very promptly. I explained the situation to him, and he said the faucet was broken before even looking at it. I suggested it might be simply an installation problem instead. He said I needed to purchase a new faucet and could return the old one to Home Depot for full credit. He offered to handle the purchase of a new one for a 50% service charge; i.e., approximately $150 for the faucet plus his time, but he'd install it without charge as the first installation was under a one-year warranty. I accepted this deal. He installed the new faucet very efficiently and it has been working well ever since. I would not hesitate to have the second technician back in my home to do additional work if needed. Both technicians were courteous.

I used Roto-Rooter's emergency service due to a branch line backup. While the plumber sent was knowledgeable and pleasant, and fixed the issue in a timely manner, his quote and pricing was, quite frankly, less than honest. I expect to pay a premium for emergency services, but the quoted price before the work commences should be consistent. In fact, when I called for the service, the customer service rep told me that the quoted price would be "fixed" and non-negotiable. So the plumber quoted me at $850 for a basic snake cleaning and $1450 for a "jet" cleaning, before even diagnosing the issue. I chose the snake service for $850, which he did. At the end (after basically 1.5 hours of work), the invoice reflected $1,450 minus a $600 "discount" to arrive at a total of $850. It made no sense, and the plumber had little to say when I questioned him about it. As noted, I was told by the customer service rep that the price at which I'd be quoted would be "fixed" - so why was the plumber giving me this alleged "discount"? Also, it makes me wonder if I had chosen the "jet" service, would the price have been the same anyway with this obscure "discount"? In short, why was the invoiced price for the snake cleaning $1,450, which is the price the plumber quoted me initially for the "jet" cleaning. The entire pricing system seemed suspicious. Proceed with caution when using this service.

I had a wonderful experience with Roto-Rooter today. I had a nasty clog in our master bathroom and the two guys that they sent over were friendly, professional, and explained every step in detail to me. Hopefully, I won’t have any plumbing issues in the near future, but if I do, I would not hesitate to call Roto-Rooter.

DO NOT USE THEM!!! $584 to replace a bathroom faucet and change a toilet connector... Are you kidding me!!! I was out of town when it was done, but if I wasn't I would have threw him out for that price... Faucet was already bought and the parts they supplied cost $30 in Home Depot. So $584 for a one hour job. Changed many faucets in my life (at most 1 hr job depending on whats underneath, and a toilet connector takes 5 minutes at most) First time using them and definitely my last.

Had a pinhole leak under my sink in a very awkward place. Wilson arrived quickly and gave it one look and knew what to do. He was very professional and got the job done and it looked great. Thanks!

Had a problem that could not be resolved by other plumbers. Called Roto-Rooter and their technician, Brett, was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and solved the problem! I was very pleasantly surprised, especially when good employees are so hard to find these days. Great job, Brett!
