I would give 6 stars if allowed. I called Frank and his team for my daughters home in Williamsville was without heat last winter. Frank showed up quickly and was even faster to find the issue. He is Knowledgeable, efficient and is pretty funny too. The parts he needed were 20-30 miles away. He went and got them and my daughters home was warm by noon. No plans to use anyone else. I had an energy audit done by Frank at Energy Saving Solutions. Let me tell you, this was awesome! Frank took the time to go through my house and show me things that I can do myself to help save energy. He also showed me things that I can have done to my house to improve our energy consumption. There was never any pressure to buy anything, but he did find funding to help pay for repairs. Frank knows his stuff! And he was able to explain things in such a way that a true novice like me could understand.

After I had a few months to see what these improvements saved me, let me tell you, they worked! I am on Balanced Billing so it took a bit for National Grid to catch on, but I actually had a month where nothing was due! Imagine that! A month when there is no gas bill to pay!! AND IT WAS WINTER! Took the kids out for dinner with the money saved!

I have since had Energy Saving Solutions back to the house to install heat and A/C to a finished attic space, and clean my boiler. I also had them come to my place of employment where they fixed the A/c there, fixed a boiler issue for them for a fraction of the cost of another quote they had, and install heat to a previously unheated entryway.

I highly recommend Energy Saving solutions!

Work was done in May 2023 but I wanted to wait until winter to rate. ESS insulated my attic and walls and installed a heat pump and high efficiency furnace. My house is SO MUCH WARMER then last year. And less dry and drafty also. The furnace doesn't come on until it gets below 25F, and when it does my heating bill is still half what it used to be. The team was professional and explained clearly what they were going to do and how the government subsidies worked.

energy saver solutions is simply great. We are have always been so pleased with energy saver solutions as we have used them for years. They are honest, fast, nice, and upfront with pricing and what is going on. We had Ben today and he showed up fast and got our situation taken care of. He couldn't have been nicer. Just a nice guy all around. I don't know if they are the cheapest but I don't care if I get such great service. I will only use them for any issue or service need. Highly recommend.

I had Frank and a few of his crew out to install A Fujitsu Halcyon mini-split ductless heat pump system this past summer (I had an energy audit first by Energy Saving Solutions, LLC and this system was recommended to me). The heat pump system works GREAT- it keeps the house cool in the warm months and warm in the winter months. And not only does it work well, it’s saved me money! Everyone at Energy Saving Solutions has been great to work with and I will definitely be using them again!

Frank and the team have made a huge difference in the quality of life for my family. The crew was polite and knowledgeable while delicate to our home. They revamped our oil and propane heating and cooling system with quality energy efficient appliances and added r value to the attic and lighting. I highly recommend the energy audit they do for free. Inform yourself about energy efficiency through the audit and knowledgeable staff.

I can assure you that having work done on your house with a toddler, a dog, and a cat (all of which are runners) is a special kind of hell. Very happy with the work though! If you ever need any insulation or have any heating/cooling needs, please call Energy Saving Solutions LLC ❤️ truly amazing people to work with! They worked around us, which was extremely hard to do between the kids and the animals, and they made the process as easy as they could. Highly recommend!!

Still awaiting the boiler/water heater combo. However, Tonya has provided excellent customer service.

They emailed me an application for NYSERDA but then never called me back. Feel like they wasted my time.

We were assigned this company by NYSERDA - and they left a lot to be desired. The owner is a bit arrogant and misleading and I didn’t feel confident in his knowledge (as a former contractor myself). He also wore shoes in my house and LOVES to talk about himself and who he knows lol.

Number one, this guy BLEW UP my phone any time I didn’t respond very quickly - unprofessional. Not everyone has as much free time as you might have. One time I checked my l cameras to find out he let himself in to my yard (without calling) to “take some pictures” - this was a bit unsettling but we let it slide.

We needed some electrical work - these people AGAIN sent someone to my home unannounced on a Saturday evening. The “electrician” he sent was driving a barely-working minivan and appeared, in my opinion, high on stimulants. I thought a homeless man was at my door. I’m not judgemental, but anyone could see this guy and say “I wouldn’t let him work in my home”.

We started getting quotes and ideas together anyway. Frank, the owner, was adamant on a Bosch heat pump water heater despite us having a brand new gas water heater. He forgot that he had previously mention the kickbacks and incentives he receives from Bosch and/or their partners.

The minute we pushed back on the questionable electrician and asked if we had other options aside from the heat pump - he “dropped us” as our “contractor”. This is hilariously transparent in my opinion. No incentives and no dirt-cheap electrician = not enough profit for my pockets = “I’ll move on to the next poor person who will take whatever I give them” (this is my opinion)

We were likely not going to hire this questionable business either way, but wanted to see what they’d say.

In my opinion, they really wanted to bend the NYSERDA rules to replace our (brand new) gas water heater with a Bosch electric heat pump. If I had to guess, they “bend” the NYSERDA rules to line their pockets - just a guess.

They get poor applicants from poor areas and their typical client lets them do whatever they want because it is no cost to them. It was apparent to me that they don’t get a ton of suburban clients like my family.

If you’re looking for a professional contractor, I’d look elsewhere.

They were working on my neighbors stuff when they decided to knock on my door at 9am, asking to use our driveway, even though the neighbors have two, just because they connect. And then proceeded to move my trash cans so they could park right on my property even though I had told them they couldn’t. So very unprofessional and am very upset with this company. I’d give it 0 stars if I could.

Wow, where do I even begin. Let me start by saying I do not often give a business a review. It takes either exceptionally good service or exceptionally bad service to motivate me to take time out of my day to write up my opinion. Unfortunately this was a case of some of the worst service I have ever seen.

Firstly, We scheduled an appointment with this company because our boiler had received an error code and wouldn't fire until we reset it. Even though it was currently working, we wanted to get it checked out. This company sent a technician who reviewed our error code, examined the boiler, then determined there was nothing wrong and we just needed a cleaning/tuneup. After the service, we had very good reason to believe that the actions performed were not adequate. After calling the owner, Frank, he came to take a look at the service. The owner confirmed that everything was done correctly and we were in good shape. In addition to confirming the service was done correctly, Frank was extremely unprofessional to my fiancé who was questioning the service provided and how much Frank was charging us for said service. We settled on paying for half of the service, despite our better judgement.

In less than two weeks our boiler stopped firing with the same error code, except this time it would not turn back on and our suspicions about Energy Saving Solutions were confirmed. We found a new service company (Vantage) who found the actual issue and repaired the boiler. This company (unprompted by us) said that it looked like the previous service technician that was was at our house didn't do anything. They then provided a complimentary cleaning and tune up because our boiler was still in need of that even after Energy Saving Solutions "serviced" us.

Save yourself the trouble, don't waste your time/money/effort being swindled by this company. Find a reputable company with a history of good reviews like we did and skip the headache!
