Ralf has a very pleasant, informative and relaxed manner, which puts one at ease. He was on time and answered at least twenty questions, some of which I'm sure he could have thought sophomoric, plus he did more than asked of him regarding our problem; overall an enjoyable experience. l would reccomend the company to a friend.

Called to talk to arborist regarding their injection service performed on our ash tree. Arborist was not in, but my name and number were taken for subsequent return call, which never happened. A few days later I drove to their business, where I was greeted by a Do Not Enter notice taped to their entrance door, with a phone number listed to call if I wanted to talk to someone. I called the number twice from my car - no one answered either call, so I drove away. Will again try to contact an arborist there next week. 8.14.21

This experience is based on a quote I received. I have several pine trees in my yard that are being choked out by vines. I called The Tree Doctor and asked for someone to come take a look at the pine trees and give advice on what can be done about the vines.
The lady who took my call was very friendly and helpful. A couple of days later, I received an email quote for $1000, with no explanation other than the trees are diseased and need fertilizing. No information about the vines. So I called and was told to speak with the gentleman that did the quote. I will not use his name, but long story short, I did 90% of the talking during the call and had to pull the information out of him. Here's the important part, when i asked him about the vines, he said "just pull them out". Ok, that was simple enough. Unfortunately, I'm not an outdoor, landscape kind of guy. Turns out, after pulling out several of the the vines, i find out their actually Poison Ivy! I'll end it there, but I think the experience would have been infinitely better if one of the following had taken place:
1) Sorry sir, you are out of our treatment area (instead of $1000 quote)
2) Sir, based on our knowledge of trees, etc., those vines are poison ivy, we offer a service for $xxx to get rid of them. or its poison ivy and let me recommend someone who can help you.I'm sure Tree Doctor is a great company and have served many people well, but for me, I will not reach out to them in the future.
