Good beer selection. Pulled pork quesadillas were ok

Ordered firewood from this business twice - requested a cord each time. First time I received about 75% of a cord of wood (measured when stacked). When I called to place the second order I informed the operator that the first delivery was short and requested a full cord this time. Unfortunately the second delivery was about the same size as the first. I'll avoid ordering firewood from them again. Firewood was decent quality, hence the 3 stars.

Would not purchase firewood from them again. The quantity of wood was not there. A cord of wood is 128 cubic feet (4x4x8). I only got 100 cubic feet. The ordering and delivery were great, just the quantity of wood not there.

Zero follow-though. Still waiting on a call back: I left 3 messages on number given over a month span 2 months ago. Going with a different tree service provider in the future.

Sorry, I wish I could give a better review but the half cord of wood I just received will barely burn because it is so green. Not happy that I now own wood that hisses and steams when it burns.

Garrison Tree, Inc was hired by the person living next door to put in a hedge of 6' Giant Arborvitaes (per the owner) between our homes and right along the property line. These are trees that grow 3-5 feet a year reaching mature sizes in excess of 40 feet high and 15 feet wide. As Garrison Tree began doing just that, it became obvious that our view of the block would be completely cut off and as the trees grew, someone would have to use our property to keep them under control. A call to the zoning department uncovered several legal issues. A permit was needed because a solid hedge is looked at as a fence and they can not be higher than 3 &1/2 feet from the front of property to thirty feet back. The trees had to be separated so a distance of 2 feet would be maintained now and into the future. The trees had to be planted far enough from the property line to allow maintenance from the owners property. You would think this company would know enough to follow common sense and zoning laws when completing projects for their clients. This one didn't. One last comment: we received an estimate to have our shrubs removed from Garrison, before the trees were put in place, because we feared the work next door would cause our front yard to become very isolated. After having to comply with the zoning department, the field supervisor (Peter) came back to our house , gave us hell for protecting our rights, and refused to do the work on our hedge (we'll call that a lucky break).
