NIck and his team always do great work. They are professional and a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend.
-
We have used NK Electric for years and find them to be one of our most responsive contractors - the owner is always part of the job and making sure everything is done timely and flawlessly - couldn't recommend them enough!

I phoned and made appointment to have someone come to view the services that I needed. Nick came on time and we went over everything. He took pictures and notes and advised me he would send me an estimate in a few days. After about 10 days, having not gotten the estimate, I called. Nick answered and asked if I was calling about the estimate? I told him yes and also advised I had recieved my building permit. He said he would send me the estimate the next day and, if I approved, he would file for the electrical permit. Another 10 days went by and I never received the estimate and never heard from him. I now have another electrician. I cannot comment on NK's work, however, the treatment I received, I would say, was down right rude. If there was some reason he couldn't, or did not want to, do the job, all he had to do was say so. Instead all he did was waste my time. He is not someone I would want doing work for me. I prefer people who do what they say they are going to do.

We are using Nick and his team for a large addition. He and his team have been fantastic. Super knowledgeable, respectful and pricing very reasonable. I have already recommended NK Electric to neighbors who have thanked me so much and in return one person recommended them to a family member.

We worked with Nick and his team on the complete electrical restoration of our home and cannot offer higher praise or recommendation, the project encompassed all phases of a rebuild due to having had a large tree fall on our home. Nick was introduced to us by our builder and was there through all phases of the renovation, his team is thorough and professional treating my home as if it was theirs, which is really what you want when selecting trades people who are also craftsmen at their profession. Kudos to Nick and NK Electric.

Frequently asked questions
-
Is GigoPro free to use?
Yes. Browsing businesses, reading reviews, and comparing electricians is free for everyone. Business owners can create a basic listing at no cost.
-
How do you verify businesses on GigoPro?
Every profile goes through moderation before it appears in search. We check that the business is real, actively operating, and actually performs the work it claims. For regulated trades like electrical work, we look for proper licensing, and we automatically hide inactive listings.
-
How do I choose the right electrician?
Start with ratings and recent reviews, then confirm the company is licensed and insured for your specific type of work. Contact two or three providers, ask for written estimates, and compare what each quote includes, not just the bottom line.
-
Can I list my business on GigoPro?
Yes. Create a free business profile to reach local customers searching for your category. You can update services, photos, and contact details anytime, and customers can book you directly from your profile.
-
How often is the directory updated?
Business owners update their own profiles. Our team also refreshes hub pages and removes inactive listings to keep search results current. For example, this page is reviewed and updated monthly.
-
Do I need a permit for electrical work?
Most significant electrical work — new circuits, panel upgrades, rewiring, and solar installations — requires a permit and inspection in most jurisdictions. A licensed electrician handles the permit process and schedules the inspection. Ask about permits before you book.
-
How do I know if my panel needs an upgrade?
Common signs include breakers that trip often, adding major loads (EV charger, solar, heat pump, new kitchen), or still having a fuse box or a 100-amp panel. A licensed electrician can assess your panel and load capacity in a visit.
-
Are electricians on GigoPro licensed and insured?
Electrical work is regulated in every state. Ask each electrician for their license number and proof of insurance before work begins. Professional companies expect these questions and answer them without hesitation.
-
How much does electrical service cost?
Costs vary by job type, region, and complexity — there is no honest single number. Reputable electricians give written estimates after assessing the job, and comparing two or three of them is the best way to understand what your work should cost.
-
Can I leave a review after booking through GigoPro?
Yes. After your job is done, you can rate the electrician and describe your experience. Verified reviews from recent jobs help the next homeowners in your city choose well — and keep listed professionals at their best.
