This is the 3rd time John has removed or trimmed trees for us. We have always found him to be knowledgeable and respectful of our property. He has worked within our time constraints. His crew is great. His prices are reasonable. and the work is more than satisfactory. I would not hesitate to recommend Ax Men Tree Service for any job, big or small.

John and his guys are the best. We've used them a couple of times and highly recommend them. Especially like the clean-up where nothing is left for us to pick up.

Ax Men removed a large Ash tree from my backyard that had to be accessed from the neighbors yard and was situated between multiple wires. They put down mats so that the lawn wouldn't be damaged even though we've had many days of rain. They cleaned the debris and ground the stump all for a reasonable cost. Very friendly, polite and professional. Would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs tree services

Was concerned about potential damage to my lawn upon initial visit. John told me that he would lay plywood to minimize that issue. I understand that grass will be damaged and that does not bother me at all. They did damage the grass but I can regrow that. I have no issue there. But they did not lay the plywood and I ended up with several deep ruts that I will have to spend a lot of time, effort, and money to fix. There is an especially deep (2") and long rut in the middle of my front lawn (and other lesser ones on my back lawn). This could have all been avoided if he had kept his word and laid the plywood down first. He was the one at the job, driving the large truck that caused the damage. I would assume he knows the weight of that machine and what it can cause. When I pointed out the large rut in my front lawn, he seemed surprised, and literally said, "it will pop up." Grass 'pops up,' ground does not (and has not). There was no offer of any solution or compensation. I was also unprepared for the fact that they did not clean up after grinding 3 stumps. My fault I guess as I assumed they would do that as another tree service in my neighborhood did so for my neighbor. I am very disappointed and am angry about the ruts. I would never use this service again much less recommend them to anyone. Beware of his sales pitch. Attached is the large machine on my front lawn that caused the damage.

John and one of his workers came and removed the tree I have wanted gone for 6 years. Not only was he able to squeeze me in quickly, but went above and beyond. Upon moving an object by the tree, they found an extremely large wasp nest that went deep underground, they helped to get rid of it (I felt it was my responsibility but John stepped right up). Not only did they do exactly as I asked and was quoted, but at an amazing price, don't waste your time calling around, go directly to Ax men, you won't regret it!
