Contractor reviews in Dobbs Ferry, New York

The team was above and beyond with attention to details. Completely satisfied!!

Cliff is great! Calls you back! Responsible, reasonable, knowledable, personable!

Property Projects was responsive, professional and fair in its pricing. The work, which varied from interior painting, carpentry, power washing, landscaping, interior ceiling and wall repairs, etc., was all done with high quality. We would highly recommend Property Projects for any interior or external home or business work.

Cliff is great to work with.
He’s quick to respond, super professional, his work is excellent and fairly priced. Highly recommend!

Multiple elements of our home's exterior need repair and freshening. Cliff replaced, fixed, cleaned and/or painted everything that needed work. He's fast, reliable and responsive. Highly recommended.

I had a trouble installing a curtain rod...I contacted Cliff, who got back to me right away, and then came over and reinstalled it for me in short order. Friendly, professional, and more than fair in terms of price.

I'm keeping his contact information for any other projects that pop up.

Cliff has completed a number of projects for us of varying sizes, and his work has always been consistently excellent. An added bonus is that he is a pleasure to deal with — highly recommended.

I had a problem getting a portable generator to work, so based on a recommendation I called Cliff. I described my problem over the phone
and was delighted when he provided me, via email, with a number of
corrective steps to take before he got involved. With this information,
I was able to fix the problem myself. A great result, and no cost! Cliff is clearly an honest, conscientious, and expert handyman to work with. I will most certainly utilize his excellent services in the future, even if I have to pay! (:-})

I hired Cliff to hang a wire system for curtains at my yoga studio. It was a pleasure working with him. He responsed quickly to my inquiry, gave a fair price, and did the work efficiently & skillfully. A true professional. I highly recommend him and would hire him again for other projects.

Property Projects was a great contractor. Cliff Kahan is the head guy and was awesome. We had a room completely gutted and remodeled. He stuck to the schedule, always communicated and made suggestions on things to make the project better, but without being pushy or trying to up the cost. I was so impressed, I went ahead and scheduled him for my next project, too.

We had a small job and Cliff gave us a fair price, did a great job & cleaned the area nicely. He responds quickly to calls & texts & is easy to get along with. I will certainly recommend him to friends and will use him again in the future.

I highly recommend Cliff. He’s done several jobs for us - both small and big and we were always 100% satisfied and will be using his services again and again. Cliff does great work, he’s very professional and communicative, offers competitive pricing, and in general is a nice guy and a huge pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended!!

Cliff handled a long and disparate punch list extremely well. He did work outside and inside, including caulking, tiling, wood work, painting, fixed closet doors, replaced dryer venting (no fires!), painted iron railings and lots more. Reasonable and fair pricing, always on time. Highly recommend.

Cliff is knowledgable, personable and very prompt. We had 2 small electrical issues that he addressed and spent time discussing. He responded quickly via text and arrived at the exact agreed upon time. I would definitely recommend Cliff to anyone and hope to have him do some jobs for us in the future.

Cliff's the best. He's a pro, honest and responsive. He knows his stuff, and if he comes across something he doesn't know, he figures it out or helps you find someone who can help. Knowing Cliff has definitely improved our experience as homeowners.

We've been working with Cliff and Ricky for the last few months on a rather large home project including new windows, repairing walls post HVAC update, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and various odds and ends. Cliff and Ricky are an absolute pleasure to work with and are happy to tackle any issue, big or small. Their prices are very reasonable, and they are happy to make recommendations to help you save money or involve other contractors. They also do very nice work and can move quickly, particularly around deadlines. They know our town (Dobbs) very well, are local in case anything comes up, and have a great relationship with the inspectors and building office which is great when it comes to permitting. Cliff and Ricky pretty soon become our only contractors during this process we fully trusted as we were let down by our lawyer, inspector, and some of the other specialists we hired. Buying a house in Westchester remains a massive pain in the butt and everyone else around these transactions seem more than happy to collect their fee and move on and leave the home buyer in the lurch; not Cliff and team.

Cliff recently helped repair some wall and ceiling drywall and repaint. He was prompt, knowledgeable, gave us a fair price and got the job done in the time he said he would. I must also compliment how clean he left everything. Definitely one of the best handymen experiences we have had!

Cliff was prompt to respond, gave a complete and fair estimate, explained what he would need to do and what the steps were (to set my expectations about when he would need access to allow things to dry), and did an excellent job. We had holes in our wall and ceiling, the result of a plumber fixing a leak, and since Cliff patched us up you wouldn't be able to tell the wall has ever been opened.

I would hire Cliff again for any project.

Cliff is a superb handyman and has a very pleasant, professional manner. I had a small list of jobs that expanded as we did our first walk through, and he clearly knew how to handle each one. He was prompt and efficient at every step. His pricing was more than fair, and I found him completely trustworthy. I highly recommend Property Projects LLC for jobs small or large.

Cliff was fantastic. We just moved into a new house and had an assortment of small projects we needed help with - installing shelves, installing a curtain rod, hanging mirrors and heavy picture frames, and fixing toilet roll holders. Cliff did it all perfectly, and was professional and friendly, giving extra advice on various things. I’d definitely recommend him for any projects, big or small.
