Constraction reviews in Douglaston, New York

GreenTree did an excellent job on our kitchen renovations. They simultaneously renovated both kitchens in our 2-family home. The time frame on one of the kitchens took longer than expected due to the countertop being on backorder. From the start, Mike was very patient and understanding of our requirements. Vinny was punctual and detailed as he directed the crew. Sabrina was just phenomenal! Kitchen renovations can be a very stressful project. Sabrina offered creative advice on all aspects of our renovation project, which helped to keep us at ease. We felt like our job was top priority when speaking with Sabrina. Overall, GreenTree was very neat and thorough. They were responsive and corrected any mistakes and problems that arose during the renovations. Give them a try, you will be glad you did!

Let me start off by saying this, if you are looking for a contractor who will 1) Do FANTASTIC work, 2) Be literally the most FAIR as can be, and 3) Be an EXCELLENT communicator, then look no further than Greentree Construction. This was my first time renovating a house (also my first home purchase). We needed to completely gut the house and we were as nervous as can be. I knew nothing about construction, nothing about renovations, and knew no one in this industry. All I knew, was that my wife and I wanted a beautiful home, along with a fair price, and someone who we could communicate with and ask questions to along the way. Greentree BY FAR exceeded ALL of my expectations. Mike, the owner, was amazing. He helped with every question we had along the way, gave fantastic suggestions, and made us feel so comfortable in a time that could have been very stressful. Trust me, I was annoying, there were so many things that I didn't know. He thoroughly explained so many different options to us, and was ALWAYS fair price wise. Steve was the carpenter who did most of the work in my house, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He was so helpful, kind, and always respectful. His experience went a long way for us, as he was able to guide us through every stage of the reno, and offer suggestions that really made sense. He did a great job installing our kitchen cabinets, island, and farm sink. He installed our bathtub and all of our fixtures - everything came out beautiful. The demolition crew was really great. Sonny and his men were professional and did a fantastic job. George and the tile crew were fantastic, they really did a great job with our bathroom and backsplash. Rich did an amazing job installing central heat/air in the house, and he was courteous, kind, and professional. Bruce was a pleasure to deal with and he did a great job with staining our floors and also putting new wood floors down in some areas where needed. He matched everything perfectly. The painters worked very hard everyday and did a great job on the walls, celings, crown molding, soffit, etc. I couldn't be happier that I came across Greentree to literally do all the work for my new house. Oh, and here's the kicker: they completed the ENTIRE reno in about 8 weeks. They worked tirelessly to get this done for me as soon as possible. Every other company I spoke to, told me 3-4 months to complete the same job. This saved me thousands of dollars since we were still renting in our apartment while the house was being worked on. I HIGHLY recommend using Mike and his team. You will not be disappointed with the quality of work and fantastic service that his company will provide. If you have any questions feel free to message me and I will be happy to assist. Mike and the entire Greentree team - Thank you guys for everything!!!

We renovated a bathroom and home office (our first renovation experience) and we absolutely LOVE the outcome! Mike was a genuine professional from start to finish. He was super responsive and true to his word. He listened to our needs, communicated well, and always followed through. Although we knew exactly what we wanted, the suggestions he offered were terrific and we're so happy we followed them! The thing about Mike that we appreciated most was that he was attentive to our meticulous nature: a really patient guy! The guys who work for him are also respectful, neat, and most important - do terrific work - especially Steve, the electrician. He is A++++ From the painters, to the tile guys, to the custom cabinet installers - they were all excellent. We plan on renovating our master bathroom, our kitchen and the rest of our home, and we won't even look for another contractor. Mike is our guy!

GreenTree Construction is an AMAZING company! I can't say enough positive things about this company and their workers. They are an honest group of men who are efficient and extremely trustworthy. They were given the task of remodeling the entire first floor of our two family home, placing new paneling on the exterior of the house and new steps. The work was done in a timely fashion. They don't cut any corners and they give you top of the line quality in regards to material and work. The finished outcome was neat and it exceeded our expectations. GreenTree was also extremely patient as we asked for a few things at the last minute and were always a phone call or text away. Peter gave great suggestions in how we could improve our home and make it look modern. My home is now the best looking house on the block and I will be using Greentree for any future work that is needed.

On time and on schedule! After countless hours of research and prospective quotes from various contractors, we went with Green Tree Construction Inc. I had my backyard redone with 4000 psi concrete(28 days cure time). Mike and Ron's team performed an outstanding service. I also had some windows resealed at a fair price due to some leaks. I would hire them again for future projects. The project was done ON-TIME and within budget, despite the minor obstacles due to parking issues in my neighborhood. They raised the bar in customer satisfaction and project completion with no hassle. Thank You!

I recently hired Green Tree Construction to refurbish my shower walls and convert my old bathtub into a modern shower, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Peter and his team were professional, friendly, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. They explained each step clearly, kept the project on schedule, and delivered high-quality workmanship. Quick with responding to calls or text messages. My new shower looks beautiful and exactly how I envisioned it. I truly appreciate their attention to detail and respect for my home, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone considering a bathroom remodel.

This company really quelled every concern I ever had with contractors. Not only did they show up when they said, answer every phone call (even on weekend or late in the evening). They also finished 3 weeks ahead of when they said they would! They even did some extra work that wasn't included. When every thing was done they sent a cleaning crew!!
I really can't say enough. Other contractors should learn from them, how to conduct business.
It was really a PLEASANT and unexpected experience. Thank you Peter!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! A++

I called greentree and worked with Peter to come out and check my roof.
The company sent out their roofer to give it a look and give me a quote. The next day the roofer took me on the roof to show me all my defects that I knew were there and need to be addressed.
My roof needed replacement due to nails ripping through the shingle. 9 out of ten times means replace. I had the quote that night which was my 3 rd quote that came in way under the others price. I told them great let's do it on a Monday by Friday they started the work and Saturday I had a new beautiful roof. I am so amazed how fast and hard roofers work and how great they cleaned up. That had to be the fastest process and most swift process I've ever dealt with. I highly recommend this company.
