They steal your old appliances without your knowledge.

Their truck #130 cut me off on Lehigh station road during the snowstorm January 2019 causing me to break and fishtail and swerve into the next lane suffice to say would never ever use their service.

Had been using this company for 15 years now (3 houses - 5 or more visits from them). Used this company to do few plumbing work (replacing bath tub valve, water heater, etc...) recently (moved into a new house 3 months ago). Never once was disappointed with them but always happy with their service and prices. Always exceeded my expectations and will always use this company for all plumbing needs in the future.

Had a blocked sewer line. Jessie from Penfield Plumbing came out with camera, found the blocked/damaged line outside of house. They dug a large hole by hand, found and replaced the sewer connection, in January, with 2 foot of snow on the ground. To boot, the price was reasonable. 5 Stars.

Very very expensive. I had a water heater replaced. They quoted the job at $1550.00. Not parts and labor just a single number. I looked up the price of the water heater on the web and it was $800.00. Therefore the labor was $750.00 for two hours of labor, that's $375.00 per hour. Very very expensive, just be aware. $150.00 an hour for labor is reasonable to me.

Aaron did a great job on my new water heater. He arrived at my house at 830 and was done by noon and there were a few added items besides the water heater. He was very friendly and answered all of my questions. I was impressed and if the owner sees this please commend Aaron on his work. Thanks so much guys im sure I will be calling you again in the future.

The most overpriced plumbing service I have encountered in my life, and I live in New York City. A kitchen faucet in my property in Rochester broke and I called these guys. An average kitchen faucet can be bought at Home Depot for $60 but these guys quoted me $330 for faucet alone, not including the installation and many other fees they have. At least, they gave me this quote in advance before doing the job, so one additional star for that.

What!!! Water heater broke down. Called Penfield and was asked what kind of heater I had. Told them OW Smith. We joked that it might be an easy pilot light relight or more expensive replacing of parts. Tech came out that afternoon and said it was broken parts but Penfield Plumbing does not service OW Smith water heaters! But he said the repair may be so costly that I might decide to buy a new water heater...so he gave me a free $1900 estimate...what!!...why would you send some out to waste my time if you know in advance that you probably couldn't fix the problem? A very clumsy upsale attempt. Turns out the repair bill was only $400 from another company.

Absolutely a very friendly technician when he comes to the house to fix a problem. This particular time it was the sewage pump injector was not working and water was beginning to spill out of it behind where our bathroom and as well as through the floor and around a toilet itself so I turned the water off and we called Penfield plumbing and heating because they are who installed this sewage injector. they came and explained to us that if in fact the sewage injector which was still covered under warranty or somehow broken or defective that they would in fact replace it at no cost, however if it was just something that got clogged in the sewage injector pump and it just needs to be unclogged and cleaned out and reset then there would be a cost which was quite substantial almost $400. so all in all completely satisfied I would say five even six stars as far as service the only reason I took a star away was due to the extensive cost that comes along with plumbing.

Excellent service. I called and they came right out the next day. Arron was great in explaining the options and did the recommended repair immediately. If you have a problem, I highly recommend using Penfield Plumbing because they treat the customer well and do the service right.

I am sorry that this email of appreciation has taken so long for you to receive. I just want to thank you for sending Brian to my home to replace a PRV that was causing a weird sound in the house. After a few minutes Brian knew exactly what the issue was and replaced the old PRV with a new one. Brian worked very efficiently and quickly and left the work area clean. Not only was the sound gone, but the water pressure was a lot stronger. I would also like to thank Penfield Pluming for their promptness and professionalism in resolving the situation. I would highly recommend your services for the work that was done.

The builder improperly installed a shower mixing valve 20 years ago when our townhouse was built for the previous owner. The valve was difficult to move and difficult to adjust. Wayne and Brandon of Penfield Plumbing took the time to understand the problem, recommend the proper replacement parts, and install them. The installation/replacement took half the time and one-tenth of the disruption that I expected. Amazing job! Experts! Highly recommend this company!

Referred by Crossfield Heating and Cooling, I scheduled someone from your team to give me an estimate on a water heater replacement last Monday, June 13th at my condo in Brighton.

Setting up the appointment was super easy, the operator I spoke to (I think her name is Monica) was very friendly, and helpful.

When the technician showed up, he was friendly at first but then he came off as annoyed after seeing the location of the water heater. On his way out the door after giving me the estimate, he told me how he was not a fan of condos, which made me feel pretty awkward.

I interpreted his words, and body language as in Penfield Plumbing & Heating was not a fan of earning my business. Therefore, I decided to give the project to a different company.
