General Contractor reviews in Elma, New York

great place

Exceptional craftsmanship and service.

Wasted our time promised a quote never delivered

Best GC in New York! Best quality and attention to detail. The owners a real stud!

Derek and Straightline provide exceptional service and craftmanship. I would recommend them to everyone!

Derek and the Straightline staff are the most considerate, caring and timely company I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Thank you for all you do!

Small to medium hardie siding job well done. Expertly done azek and hardie!!

Straightline has rebuilt our front porch a few years ago and remodeled our main bathroom. They are professional and am extremely happy with the work they have done.

I contacted them on the recommendation of a friend to provide me with a quote for some home repairs/carpentry work. Over the course of two months, they cancelled the date to come to my house to provide me with the quote three times, and now told me they can't provide me with a quote at all. I think it's very unprofessional to string me along. Makes me wonder whether they do that to actual customers, and I consider myself lucky to learn how they think/operate before I hired them.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! Derek came to our home and reviewed our project and explained how they would handle our estimate. He went into detail on his professionalism and his background. He told us he would get us our estimate within a 2 - 3 weeks time. He had us meet with numerous subcontractors that he works with and his excavator came out to our home. After 3 weeks, I contacted his office for an update and was told there was only one piece of information he was waiting on to provide the estimate. This went on for 8 weeks. I was relatively patient but I did touch base each week to ask for an update. I was told they had all the pieces that were needed on week 7 and that I would get the estimate at the end of the following week. When I called at the end of the following week I was told that due to unforeseen circumstances, covid, etc. they would not be providing a quote. I wasted 8 weeks working with Derek's team and in the end they provided NOTHING!

Straightline has worked on several properties for me, from small jobs to large, including siding. Excellent work every time

Straight Line has done nothing but a good job for us -- Derek & Team were professional and helped us out in any way they could. Thank you again for all you've done on our project!

Did an excellent job renovating the siding and flooring in my place. Process was easy and met cost and schedule expectations.

I’ve known Derek for several years and his workmanship has been way above standard. He has taken pride in every last detail of the construction project. Thanks again Derek and hope to see you soon!

Derek is an outstanding contractor. Straight line Construction has helped renovate several of my Ea rental homes and the work has always been top quality. He is very knowledgeable about different product lines and has always delivered superior service. Would highly recommend !

Straightline does top quality work. They have worked on my mom's home several times and were always on time, polite, and professional. Older homes sometimes present unknown problems, and Derek and his staff were always upfront and on top of it. I recommend them highly.

We recently hired Derek for a major renovation project, and we are very happy with the outcome.

The project was completed on time and within budget, despite a few unexpected challenges that were handled efficiently.

The quality of work was good, but Derek’s communication and feedback has been really valuable. Derek kept us informed and involved at every stage.
