They showed up days early, but brought the wrong AC unit - a 10,000 BTU portable instead of the 8,000 BTU I was told I needed. This is because my living room is open to the kitchen and can't be sealed off. The original plan was for the unit to be installed into the patio door, which we discussed beforehand, but he didn't have the necessary sliding door vent kit. Instead, he taped the window vent together with cardboard, which disintegrated quickly. As a result, the unit is essentially unusable without proper installation.

Things only got worse when they brought a new 10,000 BTU unit that turned out to be a refurbished 8,000 BTU unit, and was misrepresented as a 12,000 BTU unit. To make matters worse, he dropped off another window vent kit, claiming it was the sliding glass door vent kit we had discussed earlier, when in reality he didn't have it. It's clear that they don't know the difference between windows and doors. Overall, my experience with this company has been terrible.

Despite paying him to do the job, it remains broken. He now insists I need a new condenser unit, making the entire ordeal a complete waste of money.
