In the 8 years I’ve owned my home in Massapequa I’ve had 4 or 5 different landscapers which in the beginning were good. Eventually they all started to slack off and there were many issues which led to me getting rid of them. A friend recommended JTM landscaping, and for the year I have had them they were the best by far. Reasonably priced and prompt the owner is super easy to work with. I used to have to clean up after the other landscapers but with JTM I don’t have to EVER. If you are even slightly unhappy with your current landscaper I strongly suggest you give JTM a call I can almost guarantee you will be very happy you did.

After the first year of service he was able to remove all of the weeds and 90% of the crabgrass. By the second year all the crabgrass was gone!

Independent Lawn Service is a reliable, skilled, diligent and detailed landscaping service that I get the privilege of seeing their work week to week in the spring and summer. The manicure and edging really is a nice touch to the property!

The owner, Mark, is an incredible guy with a heart loaded with care and compassion! He’s not stingy with his knowledge but he’s given advice and assessments and it’s not always about money but because he genuinely wants to see healthy lawns across the Island. He’s humble in his dealings and is never afraid to get his own hands dirty and put in a full day with his team as often as necessary.

I just started the summer season went independent lawn service. My lawn has never looked so good. I’m happy with the service they provide and Mark the owner is especially a gentleman and same with his crew.

I was disappointed on how my lawn looked. It was full of weeds and the grass was not green in color. I was referred to Mark by my neighbor. Mark explained what was going on with my lawn in detail. He created a plan to bring back my lawn. He documented what he was going to do and even what applications was going to be put on the lawn on the contract.
