Electrical reviews in Flushing, New York

I called the office this morning. I asked for a quote to install the wall mount charger for tesla. Denis answered my call right a way. He told me he would be at my house in 15 minutes.
He arrived in less than 15 minutes, inspected the electrical panel, suggested the best location where the charger should be installed, and gave me a very reasonable price.
He said he would call me to schedule the installation by later today.
I am amazed by his quick response and courteous and professional service. I will keep you updated after the installation.

Upstate, 11/14, they installed my wall mount Tesla charger. Nice and professional work.

We called York Electric for various work that needed to be done in our Bayside home. Dennis came in, carefully asset what are needs were and completed the work within a reasonable amount of time and at a great price. His team kept a clean work area and were very courteous. I highly recommend York for any electric work that needs to be done.

Jeff if you are looking for licensed electrician call Dennis at yorkelectral he takes care of all paperwork fileing Coned building department his employee Enrique know what he is doing quality, value, clean, professional work.Dennis also answers all questions and concerns he answered his phone when contact him reliable.

This is actually 2 reviews in one for York Electric. I originally hired Dennis and his team back in the summer of 2023 to do a full panel electrical upgrade at my house (built 1920s). Sorry I forgot to give them a review back then (due to me just retiring and dealing with other things going on) but to say that job was five stars. I contacted Dennis and his team again this past week to install four new circuit runs at my house (2 circuits on the 2nd floor and 2 on the 3rd floor) . I can say Dennis and his team are very knowledgeable. They were able to do the runs without installing extra outside pipe as a conduit (for my house this worked it may not necessarily work for your house layout). I was totally surprised. They were able to find a direct route from the 3rd and 2nd floors straight down to the panel in the basement. They just had to make 2 minor cuts in the wall inside the house (which they patched up nicely after). These guys are very professional and do outstanding work. They left my house leaving the work area very clean and neat. So if you want a quality electrician for any electrical work I would highly recommend Dennis and his team. His prices are very reasonable, addresses any concerns you may have and gets the job done to completion.

I would 100% recommend York Electric to everyone that needs services. Denis gave a fair quote and installed a Tesla charger. Professional job. The crew came this morning and finished in no time. They will be my go to company if I need any further electrical services. My days of visiting a gas station for gas are over. Thank you to Dennis, Dennis and crew.

These guys are the best. I am president of the board at my Condo in Rockaway. When we needed all new outdoor lighting around the complex the first company we thought of was YORK ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS! They gave us a very reasonable price, showed up when they were supposed to, the crew was the most courteous to all the owners and left the place clean, real clean! They were very easy to do business with and everything was disclosed from the beginning, NO SURPRISES! I highly recommend them! They are now our in house electrical contractors!

Sean and Dennis were able to quickly troubleshoot and fix the issues we were having with the electrical at our house. I highly recommend you call them for any electrical work you need, instead of hiring any random handyman. They work safer and are a lot more knowledgeable on the trade.

York Electrical performed a job in rewiring a dryer to panel & outdoor photo cell garage lighting easily besides a survey for complete apartment rewiring. Dennis(s) are very knowledgeable and inspire confidence that the job will be done correctly.

Dennis and his team are VERY knowledgeable and very responsive. They identified and fixed a problem deep in the walls without creating the mess other electrical contractors anticipated. And at a fraction of the cost.

York Electrical were fast, efficient, neat and a pleasure to deal with. Great rate and excellent work by the techs who came out. Cleaned up after themselves and truly left no trace that there was work just done. Highly recommend.

Excellent service friendly, professional crew. Arrived timely, neat clean, and competent…. all you can ask for thank you.!!! Very pleased. Update June 2025 return visit to add new fixtures- amazingly efficient, CLEAN!!! With a very friendly, competent staff. Highly recommended!!!

Used York electrical for an issue with fluorescent lighting at my business. Called on Saturday, they were there early Monday morning. Guys quickly fixed the problem, cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. Definitely recommend them!

Transformer blew out on my Ring camera. Decided to call York since it had 5 stars for 394 reviews. The 5 stars are well deserved. If I can give more than 5 stars, I would. Spoke with Dennis and he came with Denny on time. Denny fixed the problem in less than a half an hour. Wired a new transformer to my Ring Camera. Up and running. Thank you very much. If you need any electrical work, call York. Highly recommend!!!

Dennis and his crew were fairly priced, reliable and punctual, they came when promised!! They were very neat and clean in their workmanship as well as careful. They installed 4 fans and a light fixture and installed new outlets as well as moved some existing ones for us. They did a great job & came highly reccomended. I would definitely use them again in the future.

We just had work done by Dennis and his team at York and they did fantastic work to install light fixtures and change outlets and switches throughout our apartment. Everyone I dealt with was professional and they delivered high quality work at a reasonable price. Communication was clear and they worked efficiently. I would happily work with them again!

I can't say enough good things about Dennis and the team at York Electrical Contractors. I had a track lighting system in the kitchen that was nice in its day, but I wanted the clean look of recessed lighting. I called for a consultation, received an estimate quickly and we scheduled the work almost immediately....but of course nothing goes off without a hitch.

It appeared the ceiling drop was 1 3/4", but due to a slant, the space was smaller. Dennis and his team stuck with it and figured out a workable solution. The response from start to finish was great, the price was fair and I couldn't be happier with the outcome and experience. This is my first Yelp review, but it won't be the last time I use or happily recommend York Electrical Contractors!!!

York Electric receives 5 excellence stars from me and my family. They were professional, courteous, friendly, on time, and responsive to all our quesions and needs on our recent upgrades. The York Electric staff quickly installed 5 ceiling fans at our home and treated us like family. Going to use them for all our future upgrades and refer them to family, friends and neighbors. Thank you! Way to go and very much appreciated! Excelsior with York Electric!!!

I recently had a very positive experience working with York Electric to upgrade the electrical service to a few detached garages, which entailed digging a trench to install wires/cabling underground from the main electric panel to the garages, re-wiring the garages, then installing outlets and lighting. York’s pricing was reasonable and they were very punctual and completed the job on time with no issues. After they finished, they cleaned everything up and took all debris so the site was left spotless. They were a pleasure to work with and were very quick to reply via text, email or phone call.

York Electric is great. We have used them for all our electrical work. Previously we need to update outdoor lighting. Most recently we needed to replace and upgrade our breaker box. Dennis came by to look at the old one and was able to do the job the next morning. I trust them to always do a fantastic job!

Dennis and staff are incredible! They’re professional & efficient! My wall heater unit broke in December. Not wanting me to freeze, Dennis sent his guys within 3 hours to install a new heater. They did it all within 40 minutes and left my room clean. It’s my second time I needed his help and both times have been wonderful! Happy holidays Dennis :)

It was a Challenge from March 2025 to read & review various Electricians / Contractors in NYC .. ( Queens County) in order to Upgrade the 100Amp Electric Panel Box to today’s need of 200 Amp Electric Service that was needed to my home.
I received mainly 5 Electricians Quotes in a row with various plans of work which includes Moving the ConEd Meter outside home as well ! Nothing settled out to work after multiple Communications with All 5 of them !
Eventually,..,At the last instance after a search in web …, I contacted York Electricians , a New contractor ! ( after researching their Website/Business in this field of work involved, requires extensive experience, Master electricians ) Mr.Dennis Karagounis reviewed the work site and provided me a quote/estimate although it was bit High Range than others in the past , I bid for the work, in summer 2025!

Their service Team includes Enrique (really professional) was fully Appreciated !!
I Witnessed him work , to provide Safe, knowledgeable , Clean environment/attitude of the premises and most importantly timely manner ! On the day of work they showed-up on time & completed the work in 8hours .

I always looked if SAFETY is Compromised in any way during their work ! This work is Challenging as well for ground earth in a double way !( one to the water line underneath & second by grounding 4~5 feet at the meter box)!
York electricians ( Dennis ) are courteous not only to answer before the work but also after the work done !
Although my Dishwasher had an issue to be resolved after ; Dennis team handled everything in a timely fashion! No regrets! Would recommend to any one !
