Two different service calls. They made the problem so much worse. I now have leaks on both sides of the house and now from the outlets and all of the elbows.

I never have seen such a Unprofessional Workmanship Install Job done on my Home! I feel like I was taken advantage and Overcharged!!! They left screws on the roof and ground also doesn't look like Caulk was used. I would like for them to refund my Money's and get the LeafFilter off my House!!!!

Making anything maintenance free is always a plus when you are a homeowner. Leaf Filter keeps me safe off the ladder and gives me peace of mind knowing my home isn’t being destroyed by runaway rain water. I’d give 10 stars if I could. Installers very knowledgeable and friendly.

Terrible business - signed contract and told salesman wait a few days. Called that night claiming a cancellation and they could come tomorrow. Was told NO TO NOT COME OUT. Was at Dr office in Williamsville when my son calls to say group of men on lawn with ladders taking gutters off house. Cancelled appointment and flew out of Dr and home to confront men. Was told they were instructed to come out and do the install job. They were terrible, their crew cuts corners doing original install and calls for service work is a joke.( their version of a repair is to just slop tons of silicone all around the leak in hopes it seals- didn’t work) left job site a mess with nails and screws all over driveways ….district manager has an attitude problem and doesn’t like to hear his employees do crappy work- fellow employees throwing other employees under the bus for their work ethics.also makes false accusations about the customer. Now out 3 times to fix the leaks, and improper mounting of gutters( all crooked, pitch was wrong as well, hangers not installed properly ) hopefully the last or we will let a judge decide in court

I had a great experience with LeafFilter. Jared Hamm was easy to work with, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer my questions without any pressure. Everything was explained clearly and the process was straightforward. Overall, a positive experience and I’d recommend them.

I had leaf filter on my home when I purchased it. It was easy to transition into my name. I had them come out and inspect areas that were off. They were kind, helpful and thorough. They found some issues and fixed the problem quickly.

Poor Quality, Poor Service, High Cost — Ongoing Issues for Years

I’ve been updating my reviews on this product for years, and sadly, nothing has changed.

Initial installation: LeafFilter was installed on my home a few years ago. This is probably my fifth review now, and after several service calls, the same problems continue to occur.

Rain Issues: When it rains, you can’t even use my front door because water overflows due to a poorly installed shield that was supposed to prevent this. Instead, it causes flooding and back splash against the house — all because debris gets caught in the system or the rain flow overwhelms the guards.

False Claims: Their “No more ladders” guarantee is a complete joke — I’ve already had to climb up and clean them out twice since my last post.

Leaks: The end caps continue to leak despite numerous repair attempts. I’ve lost count of how many times they’ve come out to “seal” them. The leaks persist.

Winter Problems: In winter, icing over makes the system even more useless. During the first snowfall (12/07/23), I couldn’t even use my front door.

Lack of Service: Despite their so-called lifetime guarantee, when I call and leave messages requesting service, no one calls back. They do not honor their promises. On 01/02/2024, I was again unable to use my front door and was told they would charge me for service despite the guarantee.

Latest Update (06/08/25): It just rained again — after their most recent “quick fix” — and I still can’t use the front door when it rains.

Final Thoughts: I want people to know that this system has caused nothing but ongoing problems. A family member has Gutter Helmet and has had no issues. If I could post video here, I would — the photos I’ve posted speak for themselves.

Avoid this product — it is expensive, poorly designed, and not backed by the company’s so-called guarantee

Our installer, Choi, arrived at the scheduled time, and worked quickly and efficiently around the house. He demonstrated his experience in doing the installation. It was a chilly day and it finished with a light rain that Choi diligently worked thru.

Mark made the process simple and easy. A very affordable solution for new home owners. They add a personal touch which makes it easy to work with. Highly recommend speaking with this company!

This company showed up at my residence unannounced without any previous contact, contract, or scheduled appointment while we were out of town. I answered my Ring doorbell, and as they identified themselves, I advised them that we had no appointment and to promptly leave my property. After some back and forth, the employee stated packing his things, left, thus ending my encounter.

When we got home, I noticed several items moved on out patio, and when I checked my camera, this employee decided to return to my residence, cover my camera with a beanie over my fishing net, proceeded to put a sign in my yard, and who knows what else. We have no business with the company but if this is how they treat people, I want nothing to do with them. They should have left the second I told them to and not then proceed to block my camera. I have footage recorded of them actively blocking it and will be reviewing this with my neighbor who is an Orchard Park police officer. They had no business being on my property, and even assuming they did, should have promptly left when I told them to. We were out of town and thus would not schedule anything while we were not home.

UPDATE: In an effort to be fair, I will update my review based on new knowledge of the situation. Apparently, my father in law hired this company to install gutter guards on my house unknown to both myself and my wife while we were out of town. They decided to proceed to do the work even though myself, as the homeowner, told them to leave my property and to not do anything. Now I am stuck with them, more worried about what they're willing to hide when they have to fix something instead of a job to do. I am not pleased with the situation, and more frustrated with the lack of respect from a business towards unwanted work from a homeowner. Even if it was a surprise, they had no business doing work without permission from the homeowner and this was an explicit over step on their part. I will consider updating my review upon actual performance of the product installed.

Tom Burke was a joy to work with. He was very knowledgeable and helped me understand the importance of proper water drainage and protecting my home. The team was swift getting the project done while I was at work. Coming home to brand new black gutters accenting my white house was so nice to see. It’s a relief not having to worry about my fiance ever having to climb up and clean my gutters anymore!

The gentleman doing my leaf filter install were courtesy, professional, quick and cleaned up everything. I wont know till it rains but I am very happy so far especially with the installation. I was working in my backyard when they arrived so if they tried to call me ahead of time I would have missed it. However, they arrived and did the front of house while I finished in backyard and then did back of house. Very Happy!
