I had the best experience with this company. They were quick with returning my call, they were able to get someone (Raul) here on the same day as my call. My water heater was not working. Raul was able to determine it was a valve but because my water heater was over 10 years old he recommended a new one. Which I was already aware of... it's not like he was strong arming me into a new one. He called the office to schedule an install. Ilene was able to schedule an install for the very next day between 10am and 2:00. Jason and Fernando were here at exactly 10:00am. Jason explained what needed to be done, he and Fernando were good as a team. They were all very professional and efficient. Jason explained the process and warranty, should anything go wrong within the first 6 years. Great experience with everyone involved. Definitely my go to in the future for my heating and plumbing issues. Thank you all for great service!

Jason from CV was great. Woke up on Easter to find a puddle in our basement from our hot water leaking. We thought we’d have to sleep in a hotel for the night but they were at the house in 2 hours and had it fully replaced that day. Jason was prompt and professional. Highly recommend.

Woke up this morning and my water heater flooded my basement. Called CV and originally they said they wont be able to come today. However, Jason showed up 2 hours later. He checked out the problem. Brought some tools to remove the existing one. Pumped the water out and let me know he just needed to get the water heater. Went and came back in an hour and installed in less than another hour. He showed me where the valves were and how to clean it out. I hope I wont need to call CV for awhile but if I do would love for them to send Jason again.

The guys really had to dig deep to find the problem with the heat! Turns out it was a faulty outside temperature monitor. Who would hve thought of that??!! Just the best in the bussiness!

My technician Jeff was on time very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He went through everything very thoroughly. It's my first time using this company and I'll be sure to call back. Woman on the phone was friendly professional and got me an appointment very quickly which I was thankful for.

CV Plumbing has a highly skilled and trustworthy crew. They thoroughly explain the work they will perform and demonstrate the steps they take. Their work is executed in a clean and precise manner, and their interactions are consistently courteous. Each individual I have encountered, from the technicians to the office staff, has been professional and helpful. I have already recommended their services to a friend. Ask for Jason he is knowledgeable and thorough. Definitely respect him.

Replaced water heater for $3,550. I looked online at the heater price and it was going for $2K, and I am sure CV Plumbing gets for slightly cheaper. During installation, I saw them drill a pipe bracket into the drywall above the heater and a pipe connection was going that way, I asked them to make sure there weren't drilling into the pipe. Well, that is exactly what they did. This is now wasting my entire day today and tomorrow, but I don't get paid by CV Plumbing. Now I question every other work they did. Another thing of my concern was that they did not deburr and clean the copper pipe before ProPress, which can create minor cuts in the rubber washer inside ProPress fittings causing it to leak in the longterm. Our previous heater using sweat connections was also installed by CV plumbing 11years ago to which we had no issues until heater itself started leaking couple of days ago. Not happy and the one star review is warranted. For this much money, I expect top notch work without simple mistakes. Attached a picture showing the mistake. Also, leaving this review as evidence of them not doing ProPress fittings properly so if it fails in the future beyond their one year warranty, I can sue them with evidence.

[Edit – 4/15/2025, Response to the owner response below]

Our previous power vent water heater, which was also installed by CV plumbing, cost $3K for a 75gal back in 2014 and it was not a ‘standard’ model. Remember that previous unit was 50% bigger. There was no new piping required other than where the angles of exhaust for power vent and water lines had obviously changed due to 50gal heater being a smaller size verses the 75gal. But that is expected as part of a heater installation. One can’t expect to install a water heater by simply delivering and plugging in the power like a microwave. But we accepted the high price thinking that would yield in top-notch work. Clearly, the quality of work at CV plumbing has changed over the years.

Initially, when I called the next day, technician denied drilling into pipe and said they were careful to avoid it. After I showed them the picture and this Google review, their tune changed and only then did they come to the house. We were lucky that the drywall is a small section in the unfinished basement intended to keep dust away from the heater and boiler, so I was able to locate where they drilled the screws into after they had left. They came back the day after installation and were able to unscrew the drywall section. And yes, the pipe was indeed penetrated, although not into the cavity. Thank god. If the screw was eight of an inch bigger, there would have been a penetration into the pipe’s cavity and water drips and/or flooding. I have attached picture highlighting the nick in the water pipe which the screw hit and how close they came to flooding the house. As I have told the technician, first part of learning the lesson from making a mistake is understanding and admitting you have made a mistake. God knows how many people’s houses were plumbed this way and how many drop leaks are going on right now.

Me, my father and mother, have every right to be upset on spending so much money at this hack job of a water heater installation. This is the worst nightmare one can go through from a plumbing install. Imagine if you were in our position and you have seen the plumber drill a screw knowingly into the high-pressure water pipe and you saw the first picture. How can you sleep at night not knowing if the whole basement was going to flood? My parents had holy week church services that night and was reluctant on attending in case there as a flood. And I had to stay up almost all night babysitting the pipe penetration, checking almost every hour to see if water had come out. This was a complete disruption in our lives and quite stressful. This is not why we or anyone hires professional plumbers. We want a peace of mind from the plumbing install and this was not provided by CV Plumbing. We will never utilize CV Plumbing services again.

I highly recommend CV Plumbing Heating and Air to anyone that has an issue with boilers or water heaters. My boiler’s relief pressure valve was leaking and CV sent Jason who came as soon as possible and was very kind to inform me the issues I was having with not only my relief pressure valve but my expansion tank too. He quickly replaced the old components with the new correct components. Also, showed me how the water and components were before starting the work and how it looked after which was very helpful to visualize. If I ever have any issues again, I will definitely be calling CV Plumbing heating and air again.

Jeff and Victor showed up promptly to my home to fix a possible HVAC problem. I spoke with Jeff regarding my concern that I experienced from another vendor and the "issue" they found. Jeff and Victor got to work and both showed professionalism. They knew their job and were very honest with their recommendations. I felt comfortable with them and the pricing was reasonable. I didn't feel I was being taking advantage of or felt that there was any price inflation like the other vendor. I have moved my business from vendor A to CV plumbing. They were referred to me by my sister and she was absolutely right about the professionalism they displayed.
