However, what should've been a quick fix turned into a three-hour ordeal, forcing me to pay $1200 for a relatively inexpensive part - just $50 more than the replacement cost. Despite the lengthy wait, the technician was friendly and got my heating system up and running again. While they delivered on that front, I felt overcharged for the rushed service.

If the fix was just temporary, did they ever actually get it right? I'm okay with paying for the service if the job's done, but it wasn't.
***Edited to say the technician showed up again this morning and spent two hours figuring out the problem. It's good that he took the time. My only gripe is that a proper diagnosis could have been done last night, parts ordered, and installed today. Still, I appreciate the thoroughness of his work.
