Over priced. Professional with good and polite service but you can buy similar services from competitors at a much lower cost. My impression is they hope to catch customers who are not checking their pricing. This must be the reason they charge a fee to give a quote….after seeing the quote, no one goes ahead but Master Plumbing makes $90 and you pay $90 to know the highest price in the market.

Master did a great job in and outside my house. Jamie came and walked around spotting vents and the bits and pieces like power and stuff like that. We received a quote right away. The price was excellent. We shopped around a bit and Master had the best price.
The entire project took 2 days for my 3 bed ranch.
The Amana compressor is quite and works diligently. We had hi temps like 98F and the AC kept cooling.
The crew was very clean and swept up after themselves. Insisted my wife not , almost had to wrestle the broom from her hand.
If you want an attentive well trained crew get Master!

If you look up plumbers on Long Island you will get hundreds of hits on line... the one thing they do not show is the type of service that they offer. I have never had a contractor- especially a Plumber come to my home and be more professional. The put booties on their feet before coming into my house, they put down drop clothes anywhere they did work. When they left everything was fixed and you would not even know they were there. The work was done quickly, efficiently, and professionally with out adding on cost after cost on to the original quote... wow... what a refreshing change. I have now used them 2 more times and have recommended them to over 15 other friends... every person felt the same way I did about this company. Thank you for setting the gold standard!!! Love this company and I will use them forever.

Master plumbing installed a seven zone ductless system at my home. I got 5/6 estimates before my wife and I, choose them for the job. There estimate wasn’t cheapest but they took the most time to explain everything in great detail. The warrantees they offered was the best by far. As for the work itself. Everything went exactly to plan. They were no surprises. The technicians were absolutely awesome. They did leave a little bit of dirt for me to clean up. But I would have honestly cleaned up a whole lot more with a smile on my face. While they were installing our system I had two separate leaks in both of my kitchens and they fixed both of them for me at no extra charge. In fact the second leak I had the owner of the company came out and addressed the problem on a Saturday morning! Again at no extra charge. They also showed me ways I could save additional money with my old oil burner at no charge. As for as our new diakin ductless system, so far everything works great. It’s whisper quiet and we don’t even use all the zones to cool our house. For anyone looking to install anything that Master can provide please give them a chance. I will recommend them to everyone I know for as long as they honor the warrantees in my contract. Master, has been by far the best company I’ve ever dealt with work to my home. It’s been almost two years since we purchased our home and we are 80K in thus far. Master is the only company that we’re completely honest with us and completely held up there end of the deal.

Chris showed up on time, was very professional, diagnosed the the problem with my gas burner not firing and had me up and running in no time. The office staff kept me informed about the status of the ordered part that was needed for the repair. I would highly recommend this company for your home plumbing issues,

Everything from start to finish was professional and extremely helpful as I had an emergency pickup and had to leave by 5. Tom and Jose worked tirelessly to make the system work perfectly and were a pleasure. Everything was left spotless!! I appreciate all the coordination.

Professional, experienced and very efficient. We will definitely keep using Master Plumbing as our go-to plumbing service. They responded right away when we called with our outdoor leak and made timely repairs. We are extremely satisfied.

I had a fantastic experience with Master Plumbing/Heating. It started with Jamie promptly arriving and explaining the problem with my system. I then received a quote in only a few hours. Mike and Pat arrived PROMPTLY at 8am the next day. They put tarps on all the floors and plastic on the stairs before starting work each day. Overall, the team is competent, professional and clean. I Highly recommend Master/Plumbing.

Start to finish great customer service. The owner himself (Jamie) came to do the job estimate. He offered knowledgeable advice and several project options. Scheduling the work was convenient and the price was fair. The plumber assigned to the job (Paul) was professional, polite and NEAT (he used “drop cloths” throughout the work area and wore disposable paper boots over his shoes upon entering the living space). Afterwards I had a minor technical issue. Jamie (owner) worked around my availability to resolve the problem (he even provided me with his direct contact info). Paul returned and resolved the issue forthwith.
I highly recommend Master Plumbing and Heating/Cooling.

The front office is utterly uncommunicative. They do not return phone calls unless you get upset, their contracts are flimsy and uninformative, and they will charge you for prices of equipment that cost them nothing unless you lean on them.

Our tech got caught on a job and the office did nothing to inform us so that we could go in with our lives. We had to call twice to get a response. Also, for some reason they use a call center to forward work requests. I think they know they have a problem.

John and Chris did a thoroughly professional job from start to finish. They treated my house as if it were their own, kept me informed about the status of the work, and focused on doing the job the right way. They took the extra time to make sure that the end result didn’t detract from the looks of the install setting.

Scheduling was easy and prompt, A/C repair technician showed up right on time the next day, and quickly diagnosed the problem. Communication with the technician and the main office was excellent, both over the phone and via email and text messages. Service call charge was reasonable.

Master Mechanical Corp did an excellent job installing my combination boiler/water heater. The initial proposal was done by Jamie, who was very knowledgeable and provided a detailed explanation of the system. He was able to answer all of my questions. The technicians who installed the unit were polite, professional, and very thorough. They arrived on time, protected my floors with plastic covers and cleaned up when they were finished. They explained how to use the equipment before they left. I highly recommend this company and would use their service for any plumbing or HVAC work.

I have been dealing with this shoddy outfit for over a year and there is nothing good to say about them. If I could give this company no stars, I would. My contractor brought this company in to handle the plumbing aspect of my renovation. I wish my contractor never brought them in. I paid them months ahead of time and they showed up 6 months later to do the work. in addition, they installed a dual system which was a very large additional expense. I had an issue with the thermostat they installed a few months after they installed it. it could have been an easy phone call and they could have directed me how to re-set it... however, the man who took my phone call who was rude and incompetent told me that in order to help me he would have to put a service call in and I would have to pay for a visit. WHAT???? now today was supposed to be my final plumbing inspection. they never called to tell me the time the inspector was showing up. they never called me period. the inspector showed up and they were not here. don't waste your hard earned money and time with this company. there is no customer service, no oversight and no appreciation with this company. do yourself a favor and don't use them.

In short, I called Master Plumbing & Heating to perform warranty work on my LG Ductless Mini-split. They lied to me, over-charged me on the initial consult visit, then quoted me $895 (in addition to the $280 consult fee), to complete the "warranty" repair. I told them the error code and interpretation of the code before they set foot on my property. After $280 visit, they told me what I already told them. I originally paid $490 for the entire indoor unit. They wanted $1175 to complete the "warranty" work. I ended up buying the replacement fan motor and installing it myself for $95 and about 2 hours of my time. Don't bother with these folks. They are crooks.

My association with Master Plumbing has happily existed for quite a while. This morning as I sought to turn the A/C I was met by an uncooperative machine that had worked only the day before!

As I called to beg for an appointment, it turns out that wasn’t necessary as Christine was able to not only give me an appointment today, but also around a medical appointment that had been made weeks ago.

When Rob rang my bell and took stock of my dilemma, his kind, quiet manner immediately put me at ease and assured me all would be well.

Not only did he easily fix the machine, he also taught me about a dehumidifier feature I never knew existed!

Thank you Master for hiring talented personable staff. I hope I don’t need to call them for something else….but if I do I’ll be assured of terrific results.

They installed 2 split A/C units and we can’t say enough good things! The technicians are very knowledgeable courteous and respectful of your home. They wear booties and clean up after they are finished. We had a question after the installation and even though it was a Saturday they responded promptly.

Had a new furnace installed by Brett Emig and Johnny Clymer. They did an excellent job. Very professional. It was very wet outside and they were both very conscious about keeping the inside of our house clean. They showed us what they did with the new furnace installation and how the new thermostat worked. When they let everything was let very clean and the old furnace was taken away. A great job! Thanks

Update less than 3 years later, system is malfunctioning and Rinnai is saying the install is done wrong and will not provide warranty coverage until issue is fixed. Do not trust Masters to install properly. Make sure you have a video walkthrough after install with Rinnai support to verify install.
They’re also really cheap and didn’t install the $200 pre-fab isolation valves making it easier to flush the system.

Master's is really good; Tom is the best. Usually when i've hired companies to do a big job, after they get paid they'll say goodbye and you won't hear from them again. I hired Master's last year to do an oil to gas conversion. I've had some questions and they have come to inspect several times and come up with solutions to my concerns. Master's did not leave me high and dry after a $10K job. Thank you Tom!

Master is a good company. Very responsive with skilled technicians doing the work. The person who came to my house to install overflow cover plate and drain plate in a tub was able to make it work in about 20 minutes. The only complaint I have about them is the expense. That 20 minutes cost me $330.00. I felt that was way over priced for the time, work and degree of difficulty spent. But otherwise, I am extremely happy with Master and would recommend them highly.

I just got the new central air conditioner installation done and I am so happy and satisfied with their job. All the installers are so nice and passionate to make all things to be perfect. They were professional and definitely they know what they’re doing. It’s worth of every penny. I am highly recommend.
