Got a quote from Angelo for $650 to cut down a red maple and grind down the stump. He came by to check the tree again to remember the job.

"I don't know what I was thinking, quoting you that price, it must have been a slow time or something. Guys must've been threatening to leave so I gave you a low price."

"So you won't honor the quote is what you're saying?"

"I can't."

I had several troubling tree care issues (more urgent after last storm) and was in need of a company that could execute a variety of skillsets to complete the job. I did my homework - 4 estimates and I was about done. Then I coincidentally passed an Arborcare Tree Svc truck on a neighbor's property and figured why not call. So estimate 5 came in from Angelo - fast, courteous, and most importantly a fair, honest proposal. My gut just told me Angelo and I I let him know of my decision and we agreed to schedule subject to weather (Jan). I was shocked when he called and said let's get it done before the next storm comes. Ok, but what about the brutal cold (15 degrees) and wind tomorrow I asked? No problem he replied, "see you at 8:30". So on a day i didn't want to go out and get the paper, Angelo and his team arrived promptly and delivered a top notch job. Tree removal, stump grinding and pruning all over the place (1 acre). I honestly don't know how anyone could work in those conditions, but Angelo and team did so with a smile. He even took on a few additional last minute requests. He provided me with mulch in places I requested as well as just the right amount of fireplace sized-cut wood for my fireplace. A little splitting and i am good to go. I couldn't be happier and am so pleased (wife too) to be ahead of the curve for a change come Spring. I don't write many reviews of this length, but its the least i can do for this man and his company. Safe to say you wont be disappointed. Thank you. David Palmer

Excellent tree service in Commack.

When our backyard pine tree grew huge branches that could potentially cause serious damage to our house during a storm, we had to trim it back. We called Arborcare Tree Service for an estimate, and were gratified when Angelo advised us to cut only the minimum necessary for our protection, in an effort to conserve the beauty of that majestic tree. He was hesitant to do a drastic trim even though it meant less money for his business. He scheduled us for a prompt appointment date, arrived right on time, and his team did an amazing professional job. I would highly recommend Arborcare to my friends and neighbors.

Angelo was great. Came to our home, gave us a quote. Called him up to schedule a date and first thing today he and his crew came and quickly and thoroughly took down our trees, removed dead branches and trimmed everything we needed done. We were also able to add a few more branches to our work order and it was all taken care of and cleaned up wonderfully. We have called other companies who have either not showed up and have just ignored us entirely. So we really appreciate the professionalism shown.

Angelo answered the phone the 1st time I called him and was on time for the estimate. Then he told me he would call on Sunday when he was setting up his calendar to schedule the job. He called on Sunday, scheduled it for Monday and was on time. The job was completed as he said. My property was clean and looked great.

Angelo was on time and honest regarding his estimate and followed through on the job exactly as he said he would, cleaned up perfectly, and finished early. His crew even fixed a section of my fence which had been damaged by a storm the week before for no charge, without me asking. Everyone was very careful with the backyard items (swing set, shed) they had to work around.
