Reviews of local pros in Jamestown, New York

Although there was some delays in scheduling, each person with whom I interacted was polite and courteous and above all knowledgeable. I appreciated the itemized billing and recommendations provided by the team! Job well done.

We started the process of purchasing a fully electric vehicle on a Wednesday. That same day we reached out to VT asking them what we would need to install a Level 2 charger in our garage. Within a day we knew what was needed. We bought the truck on Saturday and by the end of the day Tuesday we were up and running! Tom and his team did a great job! We would definitely recommend them for your EV needs as well as any other electric need!

Best service in the area! I have previously used several local electricians and by far VT Power & Lighting “outshines” their competitors!
Contacted these fine gentlemen on Monday afternoon, and my job was completed Thursday morning. Quick, clean, professional! Highly recommend calling VT P & L, FIRST!
But you can call the other guys, just to see how long they would make you wait to see a service man. I’m “in the book”, for several months now at one, until they can make an appointment!
Much thanks to VT for completing in very timely fashion!

I have to say, wow! What an incredible team of electricians! It all started with a simple phone call, and within two weeks, they had an appointment scheduled. In just one 8-hour day, they completely updated the electrical work. The whole team worked together flawlessly, like a well-oiled machine. When the job was done, they cleaned up so thoroughly it was hard to tell they had even been there, except for the fantastic work they left behind!

Thanks again, ( VT Power & lighting of Jamestown Ny.) for your remarkable service we look forward to working with you on our upcoming projects!

A highly professional business with teams of conscientious technicians. They always arrive promptly and do a flawless job . I would highly recommend them.

VT power and lighting was prompt and had phenomenal turn around time diagnosing and fixing our electrical problem. Their pricing is reasonable and communicated what was happening through the entire process.

VT Power and Lighting LLC did an amazing job upgrading my service from 100 amp to 200 amp. They handled everything professionally, including digging and installing a new underground service and relocating my meter. The team was knowledgeable, efficient, and easy to work with. They responded quickly to any questions I had and made the entire process stress-free. I highly recommend them for any electrical work—thank you for the excellent service!

Phenomenal service from VT Power and Lighting during my remodel! Their expertise and attention to detail were evident from the start. The team handled my electrical needs with precision and efficiency, ensuring everything was up to standard. Communication was excellent throughout, making the process seamless. Highly recommend VT Power and Lighting for any remodel project!

Griffin did a great job! Showed up when he said. Did very detailed/high quality work. And cleaned up after himself when he left. He even crawled under the house (ewww) to save us from having to cut holes in our walls. Very pleased with VT Power & Lighting's work. Would definitely use again!

We ran 2 - 240volt back to back on a dummy wall for my wife's new VW Bus and my future EV. They were so efficient and professional.

We had some outlets that never worked from a previous addition to the house and everything was fixed and tested by Randal , super professional and knowledgeable, VT are my to go electrical professionals

These guys do a clean, efficient, and professional job. They ran a new service for me. There is a reason you hire professionals to do things. Electricity is one thing you don't skimp on. Highly recommend and the fact they showed up when they said they would goes a long way with me. Especially these days.

Randall was extremely quick to respond as well as servicing my needs to get me up and running . Very curious and answered all my questions. Pleasure working with him .

I am beyond happy with my decision to hire VT Power & Lighting. From the start Thomas was on time, and professional. I needed a 200 amp service panel replaced and the old one was in very bad shape. The quote Thomas gave me was very clear and left nothing to question. Thomas and Randall went above and beyond what I expected. I will absolutely hire them for my next project, and you should to.

I am so happy we called VT they are the best electricians we have had work on our house ! They installed 3 ceiling fans where there was no lights, replaced my outside lawn light, fixed my baseboard heater and fixed an outlet problem we had! We are having them back in a couple months for the second half of our electrical work! They even cleaned up and took the boxes and all ! The guys are friendly and so professional!! My neighbor also hired them when she seen them working on our house !

Great communication and work performed. Thankful to have a reputable electrical company like this in town

If you need professional, prompt, respectful , reliable, and caring individuals to come and service your needs then VT Power and Lighting is the business for you. We had an emergency over the weekend and called several Electrical businesses who advertised to have 24 hour emergency service only to find out during our stressful emergency that they did not offer 24 hour emergency care even though it was stated in their advertisement and was told (by a recording) that we would have to to wait until Monday when they were opened to contact them. They couldn’t even take the time to call us back in person. VT Power and Llighting was the only company that called us back in person to help with our situation and put our minds at ease. From start to finish they were absolutely amazing. Five ⭐️, 10 out of 10. Thank you once again Thomas and company for coming to our Rescue! Your compassion and understanding of our true urgency and emergency Will always be appreciated and remembered, especially when someone is asking us to recommend a business for their own electrical needs, you are a top notch business in our eyes. Thank you.

VT Power and Lighting was great to work with. They gave us a good estimate, a date to start , they arrived on sight before I even did. They were friendly, explained the work and finished the complete job in one day.So if you need friendly, honest and dependable to get a job done , I’d say VT Power and Lighting is a good start for whatever you need,, Thanks again Tom

I can't thank these guys enough. Randall and his team, the company not only getting to me to assess the damage and get me a great reasonable estimate. Then scheduling me in for an emergency. Because we were left without power. I can't thank him enough for my family for my kids and our safety. These guys did exceptional work. They worked hard in the cold and did what they needed to do to get everything safe and app and running again before things got even worse. I highly recommend these guys. If you have any issues, electrical or anything, let me tell you. They are not only reasonable, but they do empathize and understand I recommend them.Thank you guys again bless you 3 subpanels and the timely fashion. All brand new nice and safe.My kids are happy, and so am I.\nFamily safe

Cant recommended enough! They were on time, worked efficiently, and clearly know their trade inside and out. Everything was explained in a way I could easily understand, and the work was done neatly and professionally. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a skilled and reliable electrician.

Thomas and Randall have been wonderful to work with! They were able to come within a couple of days when I lost power to my garage because of a short. They were thorough in figuring out the issue, and providing me with a temporary solution, and then came back to install new dusk/dawn outside lights to fix the issue permanently. They are prompt, professional, and easy to communicate with. Will definitely be doing more business with them in the future and I would highly recommend them for all of your electrical needs!
