I had 2 cleaning projects with Gladys. On the first one she didn't arrive on time and didn't let me know that she would be late. The second time she just didn't show up at all, didn't even let me know that she wasn't coming... So I cancelled my upcoming cleanings with her. The cleaning was very expensive and missed a lot of spots. She left her food trash bag outside and racoons tear down the bags into pieces and we had to clean up the mess after her. Communication is very difficult. Over all, not professional and not recommended.

Gladys and her team did an outstanding job. I had them do a deep cleaning, they cleaned every nook and crannie. They removed items from the closet floors, cabinet bottoms, everything was spotless. Set up recurring cleaning. Highly recommend.

Gladys cleaning Service is truly phenomenal! My house has never been so clean! They came and did a deep clean which I didn’t even know I needed! They went above and beyond and didn’t leave until the job was finished. My oven has NEVER been so clean! I didn't even know it was blue inside until they left! It sparkles! We've had a few house cleaning services throughout the years and couldn't find someone comparable to our first, who were very efficient and professional but have since closed. Now, after about six months of cleaning, we're very happy to have found Gladys Cleaning Service. We gave Glady a call after finding her service on Facebook. She smartly posted some quick before and after videos of their work and that got our attention. Not so much the videos but the fact that she took the time and effort to do it. As empty nesters, Gladys is also very flexible with how often we need them to clean. 5 STARS for Gladys!

I moved into a new house where I think ogres must’ve lived before. On the surface the house looked OK but once you get a little closer, it was so disgusting. Filthy grout in the bathrooms, dirty, baseboards, grimy, fingerprints, and all the grooves of the light fixtures. Imagine purchasing a home and having to wear shower shoes when you move in. Well, Gladys and her team took care of that and now my house looks clean and brand new. They even went above and beyond to help organize a bit since my house was a disaster full of boxes. My beds are made up, I can walk across the room, I can go barefoot in the bathroom. They were on their hands and knees, scrubbing for hours. Definitely highly recommended. I am going to continue to hire Gladys and her team to keep my house looking good .

From the first moment I spoke with Gladys to set up an appointment I knew that she and her company were special. I was absolutely right. I hired Gladys' cleaning for a deep clean of my house after some construction and was so happy with the work. They made sure there was no more dust on any surface and got my bathroom looking completely brand new. Highly suggest them for any home or commercial cleaning work!

Gladys and her team did an amazing job cleaning our house. I can’t believe how clean they got the carpet on our old staircase. They did a thorough job and were super friendly and professional. The house felt clean and wonderful when they were done. Can’t wait to have them clean again.

This is a bit long and for anyone wanting the Cliffs Notes version of my review, I will say that I am grateful to Gladys, Patrick and their team. They were prompt, efficient, very reasonably priced and helped me out in a bind with an unusual cleaning situation. I highly recommend them. Although my review is for an unusual cleaning project, it is a reflection on the professionalism, generosity, and flexibility of the PEOPLE (Gladys and Patrick) that own this company, and that is THE reason to hire them. If you’re interested specifics, please read on.

Amazon delivered a leaking package of 5 quarts motor oil. For some unimaginable reason the driver, who stepped in oil inside the truck, poured motor oil the entire length of my 40' driveway, onto my bluestone steps, the walkway, and the front stoop while carrying this leaking package to my door. The driver placed the leaking package on the stoop and by the time I discovered all of this the package leaked more oil was being absorbed into the stonework and driveway. It was a real mess and living close to the Croton reservoir, I could not simply try to wash it away, sending it into the storm drain and the environment.

This was the day after a large number of thunderstorms ripped through the Hudson Valley area and every commercial remediator in the area was inundated. Understandably, the earliest "emergency" appointment I could get was a week later. But by then it would rain again. I was very busy with work and there was no way I could take on this job myself even if I knew how to do it.

After many tries elsewhere, I contacted Gladys and finally got someone interested in helping me. Despite this being a job they do not normally do, and it was late in the day, Gladys was empathetic to my situation and agreed to put me in touch with Patrick who could take a look and see if they could help me in any way. A short time later Patrick arrived and assessed the situation.

Patrick decided they would take on the job just to help me. He actually priced it out at his cost for the labor and supplies basically as a favor. I was elated and blown away he would do that since I have never met or done business with Patrick or Gladys before. I was desperate for help, but money wasn't the issue- finding someone to do the work was. So to fairly compensate them, I respectfully talked it out with Patrick and we mutually agreed on a very fair and reasonable price to do the job.

Patrick then left to get what he needed and returned to apply an oil containment and absorption material to the entire spill and let it sit overnight. The next day, Patrick and two crewmembers arrived at got right to work. They first removed all the oil that was absorbed into the material and then did three or four applications of degreaser and cleaner until everything was oil free. They put in a lot of time and labor since it was a big area, and I suspect the job was still not very profitable, but I was not asked for anything additional.

I did not have the pleasure to meet Glayds in person but I dealt with her by phone to get the paperwork needed to file a damage claim with Amazon. From beginning to end, Patrick and Gladys made me feel very comfortable that they would take care of everything and I did not have to worry about it. That was a huge relief as this situation was stressful and happened at a bad time. They lived up to that promise and I am grateful not only for their help, but also for becoming acquainted with such kind-hearted, honest, hard-working people. They are now in my network of resources. Thank you Gladys and Patrick.

Gladys and her crew came to deep clean our house and it's absolutely incredible! When they say deep clean, they mean DEEP CLEAN. They moved all the furniture, took the covers off baseboard heaters, basically disassembled the whole house, scrubbed everything and then put it all back together. This house has never been this clean! Probably ever. All this on top of being very friendly, prompt and responsive! Gladys Cleaning Service is in a league of their own. We hired them for a deep cleaning of our home and they delivered everything they promised and more. We have used other cleaning services before and they are not comparable to Gladys. Gladys is professional and truly cares about her clients. She listens to everything you say and respects feedback. Our bathrooms especially were the cleanest they’ve ever been. They didn’t just wipe everything down but they paid attention to every detail. They dusted from top to bottom, vacuumed below all the furniture and hard to reach areas. There’s no job too big for them. Coming home to a squeaky clean home is the best feeling. I highly recommend this cleaning service. Her staff are friendly, approachable and professional. They work from the minute they arrive to the minute they leave. We hired them to clean our house regularly.

Gladys and her team are amazing. She is responsive and professional and my house is sparkling. The first time they cleaned my house was the week I moved in and I was feeling very overwhelmed by the state the previous owners had left for us. There was dust, dirt, and cat hair in every crevice. Gladys and her team cleaned everything and left it gleaming. They now come once a week and leave my house smelling and looking great. Every few weeks, they do a deeper clean than normal, without my asking.

I need to preface this with some personal detail: my husband and I are awful at keeping a clean home. We're bad at cleaning, we HATE doing it, and we have a very active 2 year old. We had a regular cleaning service before, but for a number of reasons I decided to look elsewhere. If you're reading this and need housekeeping services, call Gladys’ Cleaning Service immediately. Seriously. We just had a deep cleaning done today and my house is IMMACULATE! Gladys' cleaning service knows what they're doing, and they're GREAT at it. The price is very fair and well worth it. In a few hours they accomplished what would take me WEEKS to do. Gladys is very communicative, friendly and they won't disappoint!

My husband and I recently hired Gladys and her team to clean our house while we were at the hospital having our first baby. Gladys and her husband Patrick came over a few days ahead of time to give us an estimate. They were on time, very kind and respectful and reasonably priced. When we got home from the hospital our house looked amazing and we are so glad we hired them. They were wonderful at communicating and we would definitely hire them again!

I can't say enough great things about Gladys and her team!! We hired Gladys to clean our home every other week and after coming over to our home to meet us and take a tour, she recommended a deep clean to kick things off. We went forward with the deep clean, and WOW am I glad we did. Her and her team are absolutely incredible. Once finished, every single inch of our home was SPOTLESS and literally shining. The appliances looked brand new and not a speck of dust was in sight. In addition to the amazing job done, Gladys is extremely transparent, receptive and reliable.
