Jacob Searer was our tech. He was wonderful and walked my boyfriend and I through everything. Very reasonably priced. Thermostat installed within 5 minutes and my heat was up and running. Highly recommend.

They installed a new furnace last fall. No problems at all. It is now late spring, time to turn on the AC, but the AC does not work. One call, they came right out, found the issue and fixed it, standing behind all they do. Hey, things happen, but they fixed it and fixed it fast. No hesitation to continue using them for all my personal HVAC needs.

My AC broke on one of the hottest days of the summer. I called Smart Home Heating and Cooling because of the positive reviews they have received. I was not disappointed. From the time I got off the phone with the technician until the time my ac was fixed was not even a hour. The technician was very informative on what the problem was. He answered all my questions and was very friendly.

After a positive experience with a AC repair at my sons home I did not hesitate to call them when I was having a problem with my AC.
It is very nice to find a local company that you can call on and trust.

Joe and his team scheduled us for same day service after we lost heat. They fixed our problem that day (and heat was restored). We found the team professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend to family.

Guys arrived on time and kept me posted on what they were doing during my AC repair. Gave me a reasonable estimate of what it would cost to replace if necessary. Great customer service and very professional! I will use them again!

Jake was very knowledgeable, I have an older a/c unit and a new thermostat which was installed by a different company Jake was able to figure out the wiring problem etc and got my older AC unit up and blowing cold air. I will be using again and I would recommend highly, thanks Jake and Smart Home Heating.

My furnace stopped working on a 15° day, which happened to be a Saturday. I was able to diagnose the problem. A bird flew down my chimney and into my furnace damaging my inducer motor. I called around to several HVAC companies and only received 3 call backs. One of them was Joe from Smart Home. Things weren't looking good b/c the stores that stock my specific motor don't open until Monday. I couldn't wait that long, especially with a 1 year old. Joe was able to help me out tremendously and find the motor I needed that night! Greg came out and installed the motor and my furnace was back up and running within 15 minutes. Joe & Greg really pulled through for me that night and I highly recommend them.

Not only can these guys handle the cooling side of things - they rock at the heating side of things too! They were my first call when things went south for the boiler. They had us up and running in no time. Polite, professional, explained the situation, and fixed it to keep us warm. I had a home emergency while in Florida, and within three days, this company checked out my boilers, diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate, AND replaced both boilers! They were very knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly, and I've already recommended them to three people since I came back from vacation!

Jake went out of his way to come from Lancaster to Buffalo after 8 pm to check out the issue on a snowy night. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Diagnosed the problem quickly. Kept in touch to let me know when he would show up to finish the job despite busy schedule, and he completed job in about 45 minutes. Very reasonable price for the service

It’s Christmas Eve and there are Angels on Earth! Joe Mehat, owner of Smart Home Heating and Plumbing having numerous calls in this blizzard, is one of them. He put me on his list and made it to my home to fix my furnace. Don’t think twice about who to call for your heating or cooling repairs! In his own words… he loves helping people. This company came out right away and then did our install a day early! Nice guys. Professional. We were in a bind with no hot water and they got us back up and running quickly. I will recommend this company to friends and family.

So glad I stumbled upon SmartHome! My mini split has been leaking in my house and barely pushing out air. Every place I called this morning was booking out two weeks. Smarthome was at my door within 6 hours of my call. Jacob was very knowledgeable and professional! He cleaned out what he could by hand and will be coming back to do a full maintenance next week. Jacob even took the time to call my husband who was at work to explain what he recommends! So far everything has been VERY affordable compared to other businesses I've called! It's safe to say, we will be sticking with Smarthome for all our AC needs from now on.

Joe is personable, efficient, honest, and responsive. I called him on Friday, he came out on Saturday, and the job was done (new hot water tank) on Monday morning. Joe was a pleasure to work with through the entire process. He was knowledgeable, and always timely with responses to my questions. They were also able to install a new unit about a month quicker than anyone else in Buffalo. On top of all of that - his quote for a new unit was also better than all of the others. All around just an awesome experience.
