I had a new furnace an air conditioner installed. I was totally satisfied with there professionalism and knowledge. They answered all my questions, their work was excellent, clean ,and thorough. I’ve been in the construction business for over 45 yrs and I know a great job when I see one and I got a great job at a good price ! Thanks Joe

I called to make an appointment to get my
central air conditioning looked at since it has been blowing warm air. They gave me an appointment for the following day. The technician, Joe, arrived about an hour later than the appointment was scheduled. I don't really take anything away from them for this, it was the most hot day so far and they did say that they were backed up with calls and might even have to wait till the next day but I'm glad I didn't have to wait.

Once Joe arrived he took a look at the unit and immediately knew what was wrong with it. He went to the truck and grabbed the part and replaced the old one and it was up and running in no time.

Joe was very friendly and professional and I was happy that he quickly figured out what the issue was and fixed it. The cost was reasonable, less that I was expecting actually. I will definitely be calling them again for any future issues I may have.

They came out to diagnose my furnace. Jacob was very thorough and explained what he was doing and what he was finding. After going through the whole furnace together (yeah he actually invited me over to show what he was seeing) we discussed options. After pricing repairs vs replacement I decided to go ahead with a new furnace. He went over the new equipment he was recommending in detail. When they came out a couple days later they were extremely respectful. After pulling the furnace he showed me the cracked heat exchanger that we saw when he looked at it with his scope on the initial visit to verify the cracks were as bad as we thought. New unit was installed very neat and included a condensate tank/pump run to my utility sink. After this experience I now have an Hvac guy!

What a surprise to find Joe and have our AC problem diagnosed honestly and installed with great pricing all only within days of our call. We were impressed not only with the quick and personable response but also with the smart young professionalism of Joe and Greg. It was a model experience that felt like how service used to be and how all service should go forward from here.

I had some issues during the lockdown and didn’t have heat. I’m pregnant and not having heat was not acceptable. Happy that Jake was able to come for an emergency visit to replace my sensor. I trust the company because they were honest about what I would need done eventually with my house and charged me a reasonable amount for an emergency visit. I would highly recommend the company to anyone!

SHH stopped out quickly looked at my existing furnace and AC. They gave a good quote and replaced everything a week later. They were good at explaining what work was being done, how the new equipment would be installed, vented, etc. All communications were clear and they work was done very quickly (about 5 hrs) and professionally. Whole system looks great and works great. I highly recommend them!

A very professional company! I love that I was able to quickly schedule a repair time. Joe was extremely knowledgeable and explained the issue very well. We will definitely be working with Smart Home when it’s time to get a new system!

I am grateful and very happy with the service we received from Jake at Smart Home. We had an issue come up with an older A/C unit on a 90 degree stretch of days, and he was able to fit us in with no problem. Issues addressed quickly and remedied in the same fashion, while explaining what was happening at the unit. Transparency is valuable! Didn't try to oversell anything - just straightforward and honest work. Trusted, and will confidently recommend to anyone seeking help from a reliable professional service.

Joe and Greg did an excellent job replacing our furnace. The response time to our issue was immediate. Everything we needed done was explained to us in great detail. They were able to do everything right away and were very professional throughout the process. They were very friendly and overall it was a great experience!

Seriously the most genuine repair person I've worked with. We lost heat because if this storm, he went over several diagnostic tests over the phone Christmas night just to see if I could fix my issue asap.

Well Joe had to come out to take a look, and 5 minutes later, bam instantly found the problem that I had totally overlooked. Seriously saved my family. Will definitely be using his services again if needed, and if his staff is half as polite and genuine as him I'll be set on my HVAC team for life ha!

Our furnace died. We were referred to Smart Home by an Alden Appliance dealer. We called and the company was at our house within a few hours. They showed how and why our almost 20 year old furnace died. They tried hard to find parts, but the parts it needed were no longer available due to the age of the furnace. We needed a new furnace and knew the day would come soon anyhow. They gave us a very reasonable price and were out to the house the next day with a team of very friendly, diligent guys who were very patient in explaining what they were doing and setting up our new programmable thermostat. We would say they were knowledgeable, thorough, professional, punctual, meticulous, and friendly. We have no hesitation in referring others and would reach out to them again if we have other needs in the future.

Our A/C unit wasn’t working. We called a well known local company for repair and they said could not fix it, and needed a new one. We then called SMART HOME and they came and found a loose connection which the other company never found.

We then decided to get a new A/C and furnace as ours was +25 years old. SMART HOME came and gave us a great price on new units. The install/removal they did was professional, prompt, courteous and clean.

They fully explained all units and maintenance that is needed.

It was great and refreshing to see a smaller company actually take their time and pride in their work.

Honestly Jake, Joe and Greg were impressive with their service. If you are in need of a A/C or furnace, do yourself a favor and give them a call!!!

Joe and Greg arrived this morning on time on a very hot day and removed and replaced an old furnace and air conditioning unit. They were very professional and knowledgeable and explained everything. They finished the job and I now have a quiet and safe furnace and very comfortable air conditioning. They also explained about a rebate I am entitled to and will provide me with the paperwork. I highly recommend Smart Home - you will not be disappointed.

Josh was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was here the next morning after our initial phone call to write up an estimate, which was itemized in detail. The price they provided for the work was also very competitive. He was back in less than a week to actually complete the work, which as expected, was excellent! He made sure I understood what was needed, but also provided things to think about in the future. Additionally, they do their research to ensure you are getting quality materials for the best price. We have every intension on continuing to use them with all our heating and cooling needs and wants!

Well, I can't say enough about how good this Company is and how Great Joe is!! He/they responded to an emergency electrical surge situation on a Sunday afternoon within 3 hours he was at my house. The next day he had the new control board installed and everything working fine. Great service, great communication, timely neat detailed work at a great price. I now have a new HVAC Company and will spread the word. Thanks Joe!

Excellent service! We called on a Monday (during a heatwave), got a quote on Wednesday and A/C installed on Friday the same week! My husband and I were very pleased with the professionalism, knowledge and affability of the owners/technicians who came to the house for the quote and installation. I feel very comfortable recommending Smart Home Heating & Cooling for your air conditioning needs.

Our AC broke and Joe made us a priority to help. He managed a temporary fix for an old unit (15 years) and made some accommodations to get a new install sooner rather than later. Our AC install came out great which included some basic landscaping and changing the location of the unit. We decided to double down and get a new furnace installed as well as we preferred to do it now and not when it was 10 degrees out. Joe's service was fantastic in so far as helping with the National Fuel rebate paperwork.

Joe is efficient and honest. I called him on Sunday, he came out on Monday morning, and the fixed our AC issues on a very reasonable price. They have great service plans, I myself signed up for yearly service. I also plan to recommend Smart Home Heating and Cooling to all my friends and family.

CALL THEM!!! you won't regret it. Gas furnace stopped working the same day the groundhog said 6 more weeks of winter. Honest/transparent company, they gave me the facts/discussed with me my options and explained everything. Excellent repair/excellent experience. Quick response, professional, I seriously cant say enough good things. I had the same company come out this past summer to repair the AC, I said it then and I swill say it again they have a customer for life!!! If you are reading this review don't fight with the bigger companies call centers/schedulers, I got an immediate call back from the co-owner of the company who was the one to come repair my furnace. Honest/transparent with FAIR pricing that is what you will get (and that's a hard thing to come by nowadays)
