Huge shoutout to Rich for saving the day literally on what was probably the hottest day of the summer. We suddenly lost power in half the apartment, and Rich showed up quickly, diagnosed the issue with zero fuss, and had everything back up and running before we melted.

He was professional, knowledgeable, and super easy to talk to…he even explained what happened in a way we could actually understand. It’s clear he knows his stuff and genuinely cares about helping people.

Highly recommend Rich if you ever find yourself in a pinch (preferably not during a heatwave, but if it happens—he’s your guy!).

Rich, RJ and team were fantastic. We hired Haines electric to install a level 2 EV charger. Our circuit breaker is located back of house and the team did a great job running power around the house to the driveway. The work was efficient and of high quality. Definitely recommend!

I have used Haines Electric many times over the years and they have always done a wonderful job. They are very professional, polite, upfront about pricing and prompt. Whether Rich, RJ or Mike are doing the work I am always sure that no matter what the problem they will pleasantly keep working until it is solved while keeping me up to date on the steps they are taking. There is never a mess when they leave and I have to say I love the red booties they put on their feet to keep my floors clean! Hands down the best all around contractor I have ever used.

Highly recommend Rich and his crew, they are so detail oriented, thoughtful, and patient in working with us to hang a chandelier that takes time and effort. I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else to do the job!

Initially, I utilized the Angi's app to see if I could have at least three contractors visit my home to provide me quote to install an EV charger. Sadly, I did not receive any calls from any of the contractors selected in the app. I decided to call one of them directly, the Universal rep was friendly and willing to set up my appointment with one of their dispatch reps. But first, I would have to put down a $150 deposit, which will be deducted off the cost of the job....if I choose them to do the job. I declined to set up the appt, because if I didn't like their quoted price, i don't get back my $150 deposit. Sound more like a crooked way to do business....especially if I'm simply asking for a quote.

I called Haines Electric after doing a search for electric contractors in my area. The person I spoke with on the phone was friendly and advised my that Rich would give me a call regarding setting up the appointment for a quote.

I received a call from Rich later that day, and I met him two days later without the need of put down a deposit. Rich reviewed the location I wanted the EV charger installed, took measurements, along with checking the capacity of the power panel. We talked about different options to get the electric line from the panel to the charger outside. After our meet ended, Rich said he will call me later in the day with the quote to have the job done. I heard back from Rich, and was satisfied with the quoted cost.

On the day of installation, I met the two technicians from Haines Electric. They were both professional and gave off positive vibes. Once the work was done, I was completely blown away with their workmanship. In my mind... I was expecting to see holes in the drywall and an exterior brick wall needed some repair once the job was done. Instead, I have minimal drywall repair.... I can do myself and no brick work repair needed outside. The team duo, cleaned up and left the work area looking as if nothing was ever done. Again, I'm blown away with the workmanship and extremely satisfied with the installation.

From this point on, Haines Electric will be my contractor choice for any electrical work needed in my home. I will also recommend them to any of my neighbors that require electrical work in their homes.

Side note....
One of my neighbors had his EV charger installed several months back by a different contractor. He was left with exterior brick work, and interior drywall work repairs needed after his installation was done. He did recommend his contractor to me, but I never called, instead I contacted the true professionals at Haines Electric.

Resolved my electrical problems quickly and efficiently. Answered my questions, explained everything so I could not only understand what the issues were but also what to look for if I have the same issues.
Last here 6 years ago but remembered exactly how my electrical system was installed and functioned.
Highly recommended.

I called with an electrical issue Saturday night and the electrician showed up as promised Sunday morning. He opened the panel, tested the breakers and determined that there was a break in the wiring. He patiently opened light switches, outlets and ceiling lights until he found the break. He made the repair, tested and then retested after everything was put back in place.

They now have a loyal customer in me
