Reviews of local pros in Lyons, New York

Amazingly quick and friendly. I had an issue with my furnace, and needed my driveway plowed for the service people. Blades and Spades, came quickly, did a thoroughly awesome job on a long driveway with probably the heaviest snowfall of the year, did it well, and did it expeditiously. I was really impressed, and pointedly grateful. Kudos, and thanks!

I am a new customer to Blades & Spades. I strongly recommend Chris and his crew for snow removal. I am mostly impressed with the communication and quick response. We at times have four cars in the driveway and within minutes after messaging Chris that all but one car was gone he was there within 5 minutes!!! Great job plowing just as we asked! I would recommend there service to family and friends! 👍

Great company to work with, very professional and communicates well thru out project. Also pricing is very reasonable

Chris has done our landscaping for 5 years now. Always a great job and reasonable price. They are great people too

Chris and his team are great! Always responsible and on time. Fits in anything I ask of them for both plowing and landscaping. Highly recommend!!

Great company. They arrived on time for the quote, arrived as scheduled for the yard cleanup, and did an amazing job. I cant speak highly enough of them!

Chris and his team are extremely reliable and professional. We use Blades and Spades for both spring clean up as well as weekly mowing and it always looks amazing.

I gave 2 stars.
1 star because Blades and Spades answered the phone when I called to schedule an appointment.
2nd star- Chris showing up almost 20 minutes late for the appointment with no valid reason of his tardiness or a call to let the potential new client know he was running late.
After the visual estimate- NOTHING else was done afterwards. No phone call with a price, no email with the estimate that I was told that was going to be emailed to me. Weeks went by.
I had the work done elsewhere.

Blades and Spades provide personalized, professional snow plowing and landscape services. They always do great work. We’ve been a satisfied customer for about 8 years.

For over ten years, Blades and Spades has serviced our commercial properties and my private residence. Not one single complaint. Their team does a perfect job every time. Why settle for second best?

By far the best landscaper, lawn care, and winter time snow plowing. They have been doing my yard for years and I recommend them all the time. Chris is very friendly and easy to talk to. He is genuinely concerned with how you want things done. This year, with all the snow, he has always been in early, efficient, and returned several times as snow continued to ensure my drive was clear. Great crew and very polite.
