Landscape Architect reviews in Mamaroneck, New York

I had an excellent experience with Roberto Capparelli Landscape Inc (also known as Westchester Pools). Rob and William and their team did an amazing job from start to finish. They completed the full installation of our inground pool, along with all of the accompanying masonry work and turf—and the results truly exceeded expectations.

What stood out most was the attention to detail. Every aspect of the project was handled with care and precision, and it really shows in the final product. The craftsmanship, especially on the masonry, is top-notch, and the turf installation looks incredible and ties everything together beautifully.

The whole project came out amazing, and it’s clear they take pride in their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality, professional landscaping and pool installation team.

I had the pleasure of working with Roberto and his team with a pool installment, outside kitchen with patio and landscape design (Westchester Pools). He was very professional and explained it all from beginning to end. I thought price was fair based on my needs. 100% would recommend

RC Landscape (also known as Westchester Pools) recently installed a pool and patio in my backyard. I had an excellent experience with Robby and his team from start to finish. The level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail truly stood out.

The pool and patio were completed on schedule and exceeded our expectations in both design and craftsmanship. It’s clear that a great deal of care and expertise goes into his work.

I had RC Landscape do some masonry work and landscaping in my home. I am very happy with the quality of the work. They did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend this company.

Roberto is by far the best landscaper I have ever had in my 30 plus years as a home owner!
He's professional knowledgeable kind courteous a true gentleman and professional.

These guys were great. Contacted them to do a clean-up of our property, redo a stone wall and concrete wall, install plantings, install a stone pathway and driveway. They were so friendly, courteous and professional. On-time every day, kept me informed throughout the entire process and did great work! I couldn’t recommend them more.

Roberto and his crew are extremely professional and hardworking. Every time we moved, they always came with us. It is over 30 years that we have used their top notch service because they are top notch people.

R C Landscaping did a fantastic job on remodeling my back yard, front yard, Walk way, Porch & Driveway. Mr. Capparelli and his son Roberto couldn't have been more helpful in the planning, execution and explaining what was going to happen/happening step by step. If you're looking to switch or for a new hardworking, knowledgeable and friendly landscaping crew look no further

Roberto is dependable, responsible, responsive and an absolute pleasure to work with. He and his crew do excellent work. Roberto is knowledgable and fair on pricing. We have been very happy. Highly recommend RC Landscape!- Lyssa, Armonk customer

When I purchased my home over 5 years ago Roberto and his team worked for the previous owners and the landscaping was impeccable! Since then we have engaged in numerous projects with RC including a dry well project for the back yard to combat the major water issue we were having. We are also currently at the tail end of a major overgrown shrub removal project with brand new plantings which we should have done years ago, what a difference!! On top of the weekly maintenance and larger projects Roberto and his crew have done for us we also enlist them every year for mulching the beds, annual flowers, etc. All in all the RC crew is fantastic to work with, Roberto is extremely responsive and does everything he can to make sure the end product is what we discussed. Even exceeds expectation!

Roberto Capparelli has been our families landscaper for years now, his presence brings us so much joy. Last year, Roberto landscaped our front and back yard with beautiful trees and plantings. A year later, everything is thriving. All of our neighbors comment how gorgeous out yard is. We highly recommend Roberto and his team of landscapers! Oh, don't forget about snow removal!

We've been engaging RC Landscape for about 5 years, since we moved into our house, because the prior owners worked with them and we just continued services. It was fine for several years while we just had lawn mowing services; they would consistently come once a week. Eventually, they convinced me that we needed additional services, and we started doing lawn applications and additional maintenance work on other plants in the yard.

Since that time, we've had communications issues. The day of the week and time when they would come would be irregular, and we had lawn applications happen on weekends when we had scheduled events. As a result, we asked that we be notified before major lawn applications (aeration, seeding, fertilizer) happened that would prevent us (and small child) from using the yard for a weekend--and were told that they don't have time to provide notice to all of their clients. Not ideal, but we were able to work around it.

Today, despite my having paused services for the pandemic (while continuing payment so that they can keep paying their landscapers), they came onto our property without notification to do "maintenance" and chopped the top off of our new weeping tree, which we've only had since last spring. Rather than attempting to make it right (which frankly I don't think they could given the amount of time that went into the research and selection of my little tree), or even so much as apologizing, the owner just said that they would send me a final bill for the "maintenance" and informed me that I am "very unreasonable as a client" and that the top of the tree just "fell off"--despite it being in perfectly good shape when I last saw it this morning before their unrequested visit (on a bright sunny day). Pictures from today and last year after planting attached for comparison.

So to summarize, they ruined my tree (during a time when they had been explicitly requested to stay away), and their response is that it's my fault for being an unreasonable client and they want me to pay for it.

I recently had a fire pit, pool, and outdoor kitchen built by Robby and his team. I couldn’t be happier with the results!! Their craftsmanship attention to detail and professionalism were top-notch from start to finish. Everything turned out exactly how I envisioned it if not better. They also do all of my landscaping in both my home and business. I highly recommend Roberto Capparelli Inc!!

Robby and his team turned our unusable yard into an oasis. They repaired and replaced all of the rotting retaining walls we had, built another retaining wall, installed a flagstone patio and artificial turf, and assisted with the selection and installation of plants/landscaping. Robby also has a network of tradesmen to recommend for the things his crew doesn’t handle (like irrigation). I’ve posted a few before and after photos. Overall, a very positive experience.
