Just bought a new home and within days my hot water heater goes kaput! On top of that a water valve springs a leak. Called the A-Team and Ian was at my house within hours to install my new hot water tank, and fixed my leaking valve. Guys at A-TEAM were great.....new customer and very happy with the service from Ian and his team.

Great service. I smelled gas and they came immediately. Ian was thorough and found the problem. He was extremely nice. I bought a service contract and will call them for all heat and hot water problems in the future.

I recently got a new hot water heater and radiators installed. After three years with this company the work is consistently excellent. Always arrives punctually. Is pleasant and very professional. I look forward to my continued relationship.

I had some major water surging issues on my steam boiler after some separate work was done (not by A-team), causing the boiler to keep shutting itself off. A-Team was recommended from neighbors and I'm glad I found them. Super knowledgable about steam heat (which is hard to find for some reason), and after some trouble shooting he told me he believed the issue was my old wet-line return was incorrectly piped due to the old oil burner, which was most likely causing the issue. He was super responsive, came when he said he'd be there, and plumbed new return lines. The work was very nicely done, and he was super clean with his work. I highly recommend him and just found my new heating guy. He also followed up to ensure everything was ok. Super rare nowadays. Hire him, you won't regret it.

Kudos to A-Team after they recently replaced our natural gas hot-water boiler. A-Team was flexible and responsive to our needs. They performed the job quickly and professionally, providing top quality work. I give them 5 stars and I would call them again without any hesitation.

Ateam was very honest, responsive and professional they came over to provide an estimate for replacing my boiler and hot water tank we then chose to work with them. Upon starting the job they were very punctual very clean with their work and my house has better working heat than it did before! They made sure that all radiators were working before they left. My furnace wasn’t working and I had no heat, I called A-Team and within ½ hour Ian responded. He found the issue and fixed my furnace. He was professional and courteous and neat. He called me the following day to make sure everything was ok.

I wanted to leave Ian and his team a positive view. However, after charging me $800 in replacement parts for our boiler in addition to $200 for a yearly maintenance we still had pressure issues with our heater.

The heat was not reaching the top floor, where we live with our toddler. During the coldest days when it was below 30 degrees our apartment heat was not working. I called him and texted him numerous times for him to adjust the pressure. No response, completely ghosted a customer in their time of need. The pressure is something he should have made sure was working when he serviced our boiler.

We had to then reach out to a different company and pay an emergency fee to get our pressure adjusted.

Excellent and attentive service from A-team Gas and Heat. Ian helped to diagnose the problem and provided repairs in a timely and professional manner. Also helped to give me pointers on how I could make my home more efficient. Didn't try to upcharge or sell me on anything. I've used other companies in New Rochelle and they just made me a loyal customer.

I coordinated an installation of new hot water heaters for the condominium that I live in. Ian at A-Team offered us the best price by far and a superior unit. I spent a great deal of time interfacing with many companies, large and small. They proposed various units with six year warranties. Ian gave us a Rheem hot water heater with a ten year warranty and beat all other proposals.

He and his friend were quick, courteous, professional and very clean. The installations were seamless and we were all extremely pleased. Going forward the A-Team will be our go to company for all things hot water heater related.

I had never met Ian prior to this experience and rarely write reviews. I felt compelled to do so because they were so wonderful to do business with. You will not be disappointed!

I very rarely leave Customer Comments, however, I recieved such great service from Ian that I needed to share. As a Store Manager of a Major Retailer, I can appreciate excellent service. I called A-Team because I had an unpleasant experience with a previous maintenance company. The company had great reviews and was in close proximity to my home. I called and spoke with Ian who came to my home at the scheduled time, diagnosed the problem quickly and even called the following day to make sure I was satisfied with the service. I definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Had a really great experience with A-Team today. Our furnace stopped working overnight on a Sunday during a cold spell. After getting a pricey estimate and somewhat confusing/unhelpful diagnosis from someone else, I found A-Team recommended by my neighbors and thought to get a second opinion. He came by within an hour of calling, on a Sunday afternoon, and was quickly able to figure out our complex and tricky system and configuration. He was positive, helpful, and friendly- and extremely reasonably priced. And best of all- he fixed everything in a really quick amount of time and we have a working furnace- when we otherwise thought we were looking at a full replacement. What a relief! We will definitely be using A-Team in the future for our heating needs. Thanks so much for the great and trustworthy service!

I bought a house almost 2 years ago, the boiler was older than I am, this past winter we were lucky it didn't break down, and I knew I shouldn't push my luck and replace it ASAP. I'd had 3 estimates on replacing it, and the experiences in just getting those estimates was frustrating. Vague estimates with no detail, hard to reach staff who could not answer basic questions about the equipment or process, and one vendor who never showed up for an appointment and then showed up hours late when given a second chance. One vendor just mailed a 3 sentence estimate after I made a phone inquiry, never even seeing my house or asking about what I had in place now!

Then a neighbor recommended A-Team and so I called to inquire about an estimate. Ian offered to come to my house on the spot! He spent time looking at my heating system, and then wrote us a detailed estimate. It was so reassuring to have our questions answered personally and in full about the work needed, equipment and process. He was also helpful and knowledgeable when we asked about additional features/functions that could help with energy savings later on. So we went with A-Team for the job, and they did not disappoint.

They came on time for the appointment, were friendly and polite, took care with the removal and installation of the old equipment as well as putting in the new stuff. Were done before the day was over, and the radiators were working immediately on the new system. The price for the job was fair, and also included a good warranty as well as 2 years of service, which is a significant value itself. I was so happy I waited to find the right company to replace my boiler, everything went smoothly and I feel reassured knowing my heating system is in capable hands with responsive and experienced staff.

I can't recommend Ian and A-Team enough. We had multiple pipe breaks in our heating system and Ian replaced the boiler and quickly repaired or replaced every pipe. It was impressive to see how well he handled every problem my house threw at him and my house had A LOT of problems. Ian's professionalism and good humor made a very stressful situation much more manageable and now our heat works better than ever!

Amazing! I highly recommend Ian. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. My previous servicer was unable to figure out the issue with my boiler and gave me the run-around for weeks. The A-Team was recommended to me by a friend. Ian came the same day I called and diagnosed the issue. The very next morning he had the replacement part in hand and soon had my boiler running as good as new. He was also very professional, and the price was very fair.

Seasonal maintenance included coil cleaning, fan adjustment and refrigerant checks. After testing, the system runs efficiently and quietly. The house is cool and comfortable again.

The AC wasn’t draining properly. Their crew cleared the drain line and inspected the system thoroughly. The issue was completely resolved.

Our indoor humidity levels were uncomfortable year round. Their HVAC team added a whole home humidity control solution. The environment now feels balanced.

I recently had a new heating system installed by this team, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The crew arrived on schedule, assessed our home's needs, and walked us through the available options with clear, no-pressure explanations. The installation itself was tidy and efficient, and our living space already feels warmer and more comfortable. They kept us informed throughout the process and were quick to answer follow-up questions after the job. Although they’re located a bit farther from our neighborhood, their responsiveness and quality more than made up for the extra travel. We’re happy to continue working with them for any future heating needs.
