I always try and use other local small businesses to support my business, given that I have a small business as well. However, after an initial strong start, the quality dropped as things were not getting done. Shared my concerns with the owner but generally just got apologies and "do better next time" responses. There was no quality control and, as a result, things that were agreed to be done simply were not.

We have used G Apple Cleaning as our weekly cleaning service for 4 years. They are reliable and flexible, even when we had to shift schedules around with kids home from school, summer activities, etc. it was also easy to work from home on cleaning days, with minimal disruptions - another huge help to us.

The cleaning team they send works very hard, but unfortunately, they do not speak English, so all communication has to go through a person named Vanessa. This has been challenging, as she doesn’t communicate with me or with them effectively, and there are often excuses when mistakes happen—many of which don’t make much sense.
For example, I sent a message on Tuesday requesting that the washing machine, dryer, and the lower shelf of the coffee table etc be cleaned. The cleaning took place on Friday, yet the job was not done. The excuse I received was that the cleaning staff did not get the message in time, which is difficult to understand given the three-day notice.
This is just one example of the ongoing struggle with communication between myself and the person relaying instructions to the cleaning staff.
