Never deal with these people. They came out right away and gave me a quote which was the best deal. So when we called to set up a date it was a lot of not sure. They showed up the day before I had asked to take the tree down and would tell me if they could. I have a deposit and signed a contract and Bill still wasn't sure if he could even do it the next day. I asked him to just give me a date then since he said I didn't need to be there. He said he would get back to me. He sent me a text the next morning to tell me they would come get it done that day around 3 they would show. They came got right to work I even gave them water bottles. They worked until late and then left with no word and it was dark. When I went and looked the next morning more than half my lawn was completely destroyed. It is all mud now and they left huge pieces of wood (I had asked them to leave some but these were big enough for 2 people to sit on!) He shows up today to do the stump grind and I confront him about the wood and the lawn. Says he won't do anything about the lawn and he will take the wood. I keep pressing about the lawn and he yells at me telling me he won't even do the stump grind. So he did the grind we go back to talking about the lawn. He starts yelling at me enough the cops get called from it. Completely a jerk and belligerent. He said I should thank him he did me a favor and I got a deal. I told him I would have preferred to pay more to have it done right. Now my yard is destroyed they didn't take any shavings from the stump. Never ever use them!

Job well done by Action Tree Care Service! Everything I asked for was done in a timely manner at a good price. I will use them again for my future tree issues.

Action did an acceptable job. Bill was not at my home to supervise his two employees who were distracted by a neighbor trying to get them to trim a tree for her. While it's a nice gesture to do I feel this should have been refused. They should have gave her Actions number so she could call and make her own appointment on her time and not while I had a contract with Action. She didn't seem to have to go this route. I had a tree trimmed and a couple smaller trees and the price was more than when they cut down my entire tree 6 yrs ago.

My neighbors and I used Action Tree care to have 2 large trees removed. My neighbor signed contract in early May. Bill says couple weeks. Finally shows up July 4th weekend. Guy only comes on weekends because he has no insurance. Ripped my power line and siding off and refuses to give me his insurance information. He demands payment in full, which I refused. I'll be taking him to court for damages. Ask for proof of insurance before dealing with this guy!!

I intended to write this review for a while but today I finally got around to it. Nine months ago I used the service of Action Tree Care. A job in which I payed over $5800.00 to remove two trees and cap two others. My issues with them were the following:
First, was the ripping of my phone line from the pole across the street to which they never reported to me. Fortunately, I am not using a land line phone anymore.

Second, the maple tree they capped inside my fenced yard was done poorly. They did not touch a couple of the vertical rising branches that clearly should had being capped. Additionally, some of the branches that were cut off were left high up on the tree which I had to remove myself.

Third, my lawn was beaten up much more than I expected. When they arrived at my property that morning I made the mistake of telling them that they could drive their vehicles and equipment on my lawn since the ground was hard and dry. Unfortunately and unbeknown to me their track equipment can rip chunks of grass anywhere it turns. Something they could have warned me about and thus use the sheets of plywood they carry in one of their trucks. I called and emailed the Action Tree Care to report my issues back then but they never responded.

Finally, I should mention something about their quoting for capping a tree. When they give you a quote for such service, they don't tell you that it does not include any trimming of such tree, something that I was told after the fact.
My take on Action Tree Care is that customers should be aware and attentive to their quality of work in addition to the care for customers property which was not up to par in my case.

Our tree was leaning bad from wind and noticed roots coming out of ground. Called Proza Tree Service lucky a guy came out that day and saw it was an emergency and would fall on house! They were able to come out next day even though booked with other bad situations but still came and worked at night. Fast, clean up was awesome, I felt very fair price as well. Zero complaints!

Very professional and friendly workers. We can't believe how clean they were during the whole process. They left the area spotless and you would never know they were here except for the missing tree. I definitely recommend Prozas.

A day and a half before I was scheduled to leave town to visit family for Thanksgiving, I discovered a dead tree in my yard that had blown over and was at risk of falling completely. I called David from Proza Tree Services around 5:00pm on Wednesday. By lunch on Thursday he was at my house with a friendly, professional and clear estimate.

He was able to schedule the removal for the next day. By 9am Friday — while I was mid-flight — David and his crew had the entire tree safely removed. He sent photos, updates, and followed-up without me having to ask. The whole process was seamless, and the use of technology (Google-certified, digital invoice, and Apple Pay) made everything even easier.

This tree was in a tight spot surrounded by other structures, trees, a fence, and nearby power lines. Proza handled it with precision. When I got home there were no surprises! Everything in my backyard looked exactly the same — minus tree (plus some snow, because Buffalo).

I was able to enjoy my Thanksgiving break with real peace of mind thanks to David’s quick response, professionalism, and expertise. Highly recommend Proza Tree Services.

We had a tree that had black knot disease that had to be removed (stump to be removed in the near future). I can’t tell you how impressed I was with Dave and his crew in regards to the communication, the timeliness and the cleanup. They have an impeccable work ethic and take great pride in their work. It is so refreshing in this day and age to have someone run their company like Dave does! I would 1000% recommend them. You will not be disappointed!

David and crew were very polite and professional. When they do a job they stick to it till it’s done. They’re nonstop. When done you can hardly tell they were there for the area is cleaned up before moving on. Proza Tree Service quality work at a fair price. Can’t go wrong hiring these guys. Highly recommended.

Called at 4pm, got a call back by 4:30 and they were at our house for an estimate by 5:45 for an emergency tree removal. I was a little sticker shocked about the price for an emergency tree removal, our tree was leaning and supported pretty much by a fence , but it was touching some wires. They worked with us to find something within our budget that we were comfortable with and they ended up going above and beyond and removing the whole tree and all of the debris. I would definitely call again in the future.

David and his team did a great job trimming 5 trees on my property. In a span of a week I spoke with the company, received a quote, and the service was completed. They were very friendly and professional, took time to answer any questions, and provided a thorough explanation of the work they were doing. They also took great care to minimize damage to the grass. I would highly recommend them for any tree trimming needs!

A few years ago I contacted Hoppy's Tree Service. The response to the message I left was quick and friendly. I spoke with Sue in the office in the morning and Mike, an arborist, was at my house in the early afternoon the same day. We toured my yard and discussed what needed to be done.
Mike evaluated the situation then gave me an estimate. Two days later, VERY late in the afternoon, I left a message saying I would like Hoppy's to do the job. To my great surprise and delight Sue called me back that evening. Shortly after that Mike called me and gave me the date and time they would do my job! Very impressive! On the date assigned the Hoppy's team arrived exactly when they said they would, worked efficiently, cleaned up thoroughly and were all incredibly friendly. I was very pleased and completely satisfied.
They cut down and trimmed a number of trees. They also ground one of the tree stumps in my front yard. I was told the stump was ground quite deep but, if I wanted it deeper after the ground settled, just call them and they would come back. I didn't need them to come back.
Yesterday my next door neighbors had Hoppy's cutting trees in their yard. I spoke with a couple of the fellows who were working at my neighbors' and told them how pleased I was with the job they'd done for me. They were both as nice as could be and accepted my compliments graciously.
I spoke with my neighbor today to get his reaction to their work and he was delighted and thoroughly satisfied. I was not surprised but happy to hear that the quality of their work has remained extremely high.
I would hire Hoppy's again in a heartbeat.

We had a massive 100 year old silver maple over our house that had become concerning. Hoppy's showed up with a crew of just 4 people and worked like a very well-oiled machine.

I've had trees taken down before so I was already prepared for the amount of debris that would be left in the yard. I was more than impressed by how well they cleanup up... my yard probably looked better after they left than before they started.

We are in Lockport and had called 2 other tree service companies and they never showed up. Then I saw a sign for Hoppy’s Tree Service. They were the BEST! Estimate one day and appointment the next few days. Very careful of grass, home and ur property. The cleanup was terrific. Would ever use anyone else!!

WOOOWWWWW!!!!! Talk about hopping right to it!! These guys came at 8am and were finished with these 80’ tall Canadian Pines by noon!! They trimmed the branches, cut down the trees, and ground down the stumps! It was like the trees were never even there literally not ever stray branches or anything!!! It was so sad to see them go, I grew up with these trees, but the guys at Hoppy’s were so sweet, they cut the size of sections I wanted to keep (for projects) and set them aside for me!! They have an impeccably great service that they provided to us for an incredibly great price! I’m so thankful to the guys at Hoppy’s and would gladly recommend them to ANYONE!! Super friendly, efficient service, with great workers!! 1000000% highly recommend to anyone in need of any tree service!!

Hoppy's did great work on an incredibly difficult job. 125' tree, 4 ft across, boxed in very tightly on 3 sides. The team was professional and skilled when they tackled this extremely challenging job that I'm sure would have pushed any team to their limits.
