Excavating Contractor reviews in Orchard Park, New York

I had my sewer line replaced in November (of 2024), and they left the yard in disarray. This summer, I wanted to have that area cleaned up and my sump and front gutter connected to a drain line. I requested several estimates, but they wanted too much for too little (only putting in the drain line). I found Boldt Excavating, and I contacted Nate. He gave me a reasonable estimate that included the connection of the sump and gutter, the drain line, rough grading of the yard, top soil, and seeding.

After putting in the new line and covering up the pipe, Nate went to work on the yard. He cut through the hills of mess the previous company left in a matter of minutes. He rough graded the yard and leveled everything out with the tracks of his excavator. He then put top soil on the rough grading and screened it for rocks and debris. After, he put down seed.

Of all the companies I contacted, Boldt Excavating was the only company that “restored” the yard. Instead of having to call multiple companies, Nate came and completed the job in one day. I now have my yard back thanks to him.

Nathan did such an amazing job of cleaning all the cat tails and bushes from my pond. It is so beautiful! He cleaned up nice and his price was reasonable. Thank you so much!

Nate did an absolutely fantastic job putting in a milling driveway at my new house! The old stone driveway was very pitted and overgrown, but now it is smooth and well defined. Nathan replied quickly and arranged to come to our home in a very timely manner. He did a fabulous job fixing our problem, which was a clogged storm sewer line that was causing water to seep into our garage. He got it all dug up, found the source of the clog, and put it all back together in a very short span of time. He even put in a clean-out so we can clear clogs ourselves in the future! And he did all of it at a far more reasonable price than we had been quoted by another outfit. We highly recommend calling him for any issues you have. We’ll absolutely call him again for any future issues.

Awesome Job! Yard Clearing/Drainage.
We reached out to Nathan for clearing of overgrowth in backyard, removal of old fence to install new landscaping and drainage. He was prompt with stopping out for estimate, very helpful with discussing options, and provided a detailed written estimate that was reasonably priced. His communication was excellent throughout the process, and very hardworking crew. He shows up when planned, and cleans up the work well when done. They removed a lot of overgrowth and old fencing, put in new rock wall and drainage to give the backyard a refresh. Job done was outstanding, from an honest and dependable guy.
