I had a very bad experience with Francisco Appliance Repair. My landlord hired them to fix our dishwasher, but instead of solving the problem, they made it much worse. After their visit, the dishwasher started leaking more water, making louder noise, and not holding water properly at all.

They clearly rushed the job and didn’t properly check anything. They even left parts open and didn’t put screws back properly, which is extremely careless and unsafe.

When I called them to report the issue, they refused to speak with me and told me to contact my landlord instead. This was very unprofessional and frustrating, especially since they caused the problem.

On top of that, their behavior was rude and dismissive, and they showed no responsibility for the poor work.

I strongly advise people not to hire them. Save your time, money, and stress—go with a more reliable and professional service.

Absolute joke of a company. I hired them to fix my dryer and washer which was a minor fix and ended up charging me $325. I paid them full price in cash and ended up breaking down the next day. I called them back to come fix it again but Francisco kept making excuses saying how he will come back and fix it but never came back and this went on for a month now. Every time I call them he would just hang up and completely ghost me. Right now I filed a claim towards them and is in the process to sue them. Please save your self a headache and your money and don't hire these guys. Also I forgot to mention they will over charge you for every little thing and will milk you for all of your hard earned cash.

They are a rip off. Called them to fix my freezer, they said they fix it by putting Freon and said it was done and gave a warranty for 6 months. A month later, I had the same problem with the freezer, call several times but was were either not responding or would set up an appointment and never show up then after two weeks of constant calling they show up and wanted additional money to buy a diagnostic equipment to fix any leaks, I gave him the additional cash he wanted and it was fixed again. A month later again the same problem which I left messages in the office and voicemails with no response or setting appointments and not showing up. Additionally, left message with his office that his warranty was not going to cover if he did come back. Suffice to say that he ignored my calls and stood me up several times. Besides, having the cost of a repair that did NOT resolve my problem, my business also suffered additional losses by having to throw out frozen products because of His No Shows!!!

My dishwasher was not working as the door wouldn't close. They came to look at it and said the door lock as well as the electrical board were damaged and needed to be replaced. I understand the door lock as I did something with it and resulting it not able to close and hence, the dishwasher could not start. The electrical board should have no issue. I knew it was a rip off. Paid the visit fee and send them away. My brother was able to fix the dishwasher door lock following YouTube video and the dishwasher is working like new. We didn't have to order or replace any parts to have the dishwasher working again. Stay away from this company, they will just say certain parts need to be replaced in order to charge you an expensive fee for it.

AVOID THIS “COMPANY” AT ALL COSTS!

This company will take your hard-earned money and leave you with unfinished work and endless frustration!

7/12/24: My refrigerator stopped cooling, so I called this company. Francisco arrived the same day with an assistant, diagnosed a problem with the defrost control, and charged $200 for the visit. They promised to return the next day or Monday, 7/15, depending on when they received the part.

7/15/24: After not hearing from them, I texted at 5 PM for an update. Francisco responded, asking for my address, then claimed the part would arrive the next day or by Wednesday, 7/17.

7/17/24: With no update, I called around 12:30 PM. A woman answered, asked for my address and if I had made a deposit, and said she’d inform the mechanic and call me back. She never did. I called again around 3 PM, and she said Francisco would come tomorrow, 7/18 between 12-2 PM.

7/18/24: Francisco finally arrived around 4 PM to install the defrost control, saying the refrigerator would start cooling after an hour. I paid him the remaining $180. The fridge never cooled.

7/21/24: The fridge was still not cooling. I called and texted, but received no response.

7/22/24: They finally answered my text and said Francisco would come between 12-1 PM the next day, 7/23.

7/23/24: With no update, I called around 1 PM. The woman picked up and said Francisco would come between 1:40 - 2 PM. Francisco finally arrived around 2 PM, poured hot water into the refrigerator, and said it should start working in an hour. He was in a rush to leave and told me to contact him if there were any problems. Three hours later, the fridge still wasn’t working. I texted him, but he never replied.

As of this writing (7/27/24), Francisco has not responded. Every time I call, the woman who answers is clueless and always asks for my address, promising to call back but never does.

To make matters worse, I found out that the part they installed only cost about $30. So, I ended up paying $380 just to keep chasing them, waiting for them to come to my house, and watching them show up whenever they felt like it without fixing the problem.

DO NOT waste your money on this company! They are unreliable, unprofessional, and unresponsive. Save yourself the headache and find a reputable service provider.

Francisco Appliance is a complete rip off! Horrible company DO NOT USE THEM! They stood me up twice and both times I had to call them. No customer service. They came and charged us $350.00 to replace the defrost element on the refrigerator. They said they would be back the next day with the replacement part. The next day came, and they were a no show I had to call them only to be told the part would not be in until the next day. They could not call to tell me that. They replaced the part the next day and two days later I had to call them back because the refrigerator was still not cold. I was told they would come back the next day and they were a no show. When they did finally come back all of a sudden, they said it was a freon problem. I was told as they were adding freon that there was no cost because I was their client and I had a warranty. After they were cleaning up I was told this was a separate issue and I now owed them $150.00. When confronted I was told that they are like a doctor and cannot diagnose every problem with an appliance only what they are told is wrong. I had a refrigerator that was not getting cold on the bottom or freezing on top they are the expert supposedly. They are a complete rip off. I am out $500.00 on repairs that never worked. The freezer is still not freezing, and they wouldn't return any of my calls now despite a six-month warrantee. I have now had to just get a new refrigerator and am out of the money I gave them.

If I could give them a ZERO I would. Please don’t use them! Complete scam artists. I waited 6 weeks with excuses on my fridge repair. Made it seem that the part was so exclusive and hard to get. They promised to come back if it stopped working again and it has. They are ignoring my calls now because they DO NOT KNOW HOW TO REPAIR ANYTHING. Francisco is a giant fake, he says “God Bless you”….but he’s taking your money and steeling basically and has beginner level knowledge as well has his side kick the translator, “JR”. Don’t be fooled. I called a real technician and they are they cannot believe they made stupid diagnostics and put bandaids on the situation. My ice and water stopped dispensing and they didn’t even take apart the freezer. They know nothing. Don’t be fooled by their sweet talking.
