Electrical reviews in Phelps, New York

We are totally satisfied with Todd’s work - every aspect of the job! Very professional, reasonable rates, excellent quality! We would use Merkley again for our next electrical project!

My wife and I recently had a pool installed and needed an electric line for the pool and for it to be grounded. Todd answered the call and was very easy to talk with about the project. His work is excellent and very reasonable prices! He will definitely get future calls from us.

I called for some electrical work, got a pretty quick response and Mr. Merkley came over to review the work, took a bunch of measurements, discussed some work details and said he would send me an estimate. Seemed like a very good guy that probably does very good work and I likely would have hired him. Unfortunately he decided to not send me an estimate even after a follow up saying he would....just left me hanging with no communication so had no choice but to eventually look elsewhere.

Todd was very kind and professional, he was prompt in coming to see our project, giving us a quote and getting the job done. everything looks and works great, just as envisioned. Highly recommend his business

Worked out great the first time he did work at my house. I called about 6 weeks ago for an estimate on a transfer switch. He came out, took some pictures and measurements and even after I followed up with him, I never heard another thing. No phone call or text. My theory is if it's not a job you want or can't do, just say so and I'll move on and contact someone else.

Todd and his assistant worked very skillfully and diligently throughout the project. They came and did preparatory work the day before replacing the panel and made sure all was ready for completing the task during the minimum loss of power the next day. They were prompt, responsive, accommodating, and professional, and all went well with the upgrade. Cleanup was spotless afterward. We look forward to hiring him again for further electrical work.

Todd was so kind and fit us into his busy schedule. His work was efficient and reasonably priced. We will absolutely use him again. Highly recommend!

Todd and his crew upgraded the service and electrical wiring in my 110 year old house during the pandemic. They did a great job and helped me to understand the options that I had with respect to the many electrical deficiencies on the property. Todd was very conscientious about having electrical fixtures work the way you want them to which sometimes involved putting things on separate switches or running another wire down a partition. They also gave me some excellent contacts with other contractors (carpenters, painters, plumbers) at a time when it was very difficult to arrange work with these trades.

Todd was very professional and trust worthy. We upgraded my panel and put in a back up generator plug. He gave me good options for my situation. I would recommend Merkley Electric to any one.

Merkley Electric just finished up upgrading our electric to a 200 amp service. Todd and his crew did a great job for us and I would recommend his services without hesitation. He is timely, efficient, co ordinates his job with other agencies and communicates with the customer well.
Thank you !!!

Todd has completed many home electrical jobs for us over the past 5 years. His professionalism is demonstrated through his punctuality and strong knowledge base. We plan to utilize Todd's services in the future. Highly recommended!

Todd did an excellent job. He didn’t exceed his quote and he arrived on time. He was very professional and expedient. He was also respectful of my home by wearing shoe coverings and replacing furniture he needed to move. I’m keeping his card in case I need an electrician in the future!

Highly recommend Merkley Electric! Todd was nothing but professional, knowledgeable and upfront. Todd diagnosed and fixed the issue I had at my home quickly and educated me regarding the issue. Todd even contacted me the following day regarding the repairs he made to ensure everything was functioning properly. Thank you again, Todd!

Todd wired up a disconnect for my generator and did a great job! Todd was prompt and professional and has a great personality. Todd was recommended by a coworker and I was not disappointed. I recommend giving Todd a shout when its your time to have electrical work done. I certainly will.

We lost power and needed electrical panels replaced due to flooding. Todd was able to assist right away and he stayed until the job was finished. He was knowledgeable, clean, caring and explained everything throughout the entire process. We appreciate his help and quick response. He is now our electrician for any home needs. We would highly recommend his service. Thank you Todd!

I was very impressed with Todd. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. From quote to install he kept me informed every step of the way during my service upgrade. He did a great job and I would definitely recommend him for any electrical project or repair.

I had several Electrical upgrade quotes for the replacement of 2 big electrical panels, breakers and new switches etc.. I chose Todd Merkley Electric because the first time I met Him to review the job scope and quote, the professionalism that was shown to me made a huge impression. He and His Team were Friendly, Professional and so very easy to work with. Todd answered all my questions thoroughly and explained what was to happen during each phase of the upgrade. Todd worked around my scheduled days off which was very important to me. I would definitely recommend and would use them in the future if the need should arise. Thank you again, Melinda

We recently had Todd do an electric job for the second time. We had a pool installed and had a quote for the job that was more than fair. Despite running into some unforeseen issues (do to information from me), he labored through it. My wife and figured it was going to be another 30-50 percent more do the extra hours and work involved. Nope. Price was still the same Have had no problems in the two months at all with it.

The first was when he re-did our entire electric panel box in a real old house. That was years ago and the cost was more than fair and again, have had no problems.

Thanks Todd

They are the best. Todd and Tyler did a full house electrical renovation on my 93 year old mother’s home. Their work was perfect and they were very mindful of cleanup. We asked for some last minute changes to accommodate her sight issues and they made them immediately with no complaints. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Needed a generator box installed for my whole home generator. What can I say, Todd was on time, professional and did what I wanted in a timely and friendly manner. Even made a special trip back to help me out on another issue. Price was reasonable and even below two other quotes. Will be using him again on our next need. Thanks.
