I needed a back flow installed on my building I called Borrelli Mechanical, they were quick and responsive and reasonably priced. They had it installed in a day and my building was without water for minimal time. Highly recommend.

Eric and Mike installed a large thru-the-wall AC unit today. It was a complicated project, because my building, built in '37 by the architects for Empire State building, has steam heat. The AC unit doubles as a radiator, using the building steam to provide warmth during cold months. It was a 3 hour job for the two of them. The AC is working great. And from the looks of things, the heating will work fine, once the October cold rolls in. These guys are great, having done careful work on a tough job. I recommend them highly. Also, this AC unit is custom made by IslandAire, and I am glad A. Borrelli is able to obtain these units, install them and maintain them. Thumbs up for Borrelli, too.

Very poor experience. Inherited thee contract from previous homeowner - several service calls where they forgot the proper filters then charged us to return with them. Ultimately cancelled our contract after they mismeasured our replacement airconditioner unit, caused 1,100 dollars of damage to our home during installation, agreed to pay for damage and ignored our calls for three months. We can only speak to a receptionist who "cannot make those decision". At least she is apologetic. The worst AC/Heating experience you could buy with so many options available. The worst.

Best experience with HVAC service! From the initial call with the wonderful scheduler who answered all of my questions and concerns, to the service tech who explained all of the unfortunate problems with my system that was installed improperly (from another provider). I will definitely be recommending A. Borrelli Mechanical to all of my neighbors and friends.

Excellent service. Eric and Mike were courteous and professional. Once done with installing the HVAC system, they made sure everything was properly working and took the time to answer all our questions. Looking forward to continuing doing business with A. Borrelli.

Came to my house to scope the work. Told me they would provide that week. It has now been a month since the technician visited and I still have not received an estimate. I have called the company twice to follow up on the estimate. Both times I was told that the technician was working on it and I would get a follow up later that day. I did not receive a follow up call either time. Really poor experience considering I was very excited and motivated to do the work.

Borrelli upgraded our gas line to comply with the new ConEd standards when it was accidentally cut by someone installing a new water line for us. They did a great job. they were very responsive from start to finish.

Our A/C system had to be replaced in the middle of summer. We were worried because one of our family members is over ninety. Borrelli treated the situation with real urgency -- George came out immediately to diagnose the system; Brittany and Katie in bookkeeping kept track of the new system. As soon as it was on its way, Borrelli sent Mike and Eric to do the preliminary work so the new system could be installed as quickly as possible. They've been our heating and A/C people for well over a decade now, and they've always given good service. Very grateful that they went all-out for us during this emergency.

Sent through Lowe's to install a water heater. Great communication and follow up. On time, very pleasant and knowledgeable. Eric & Carlos were great! So hard to find great plumbers. Plan to use them for future needs

Got the recommendation from a neighbor who has been a loyal customer for 20 years. No disappointment here. Had to replace my broken steam boiler. Due to some unusual configuration of my house, I have seen many technicians from the company to get to the bottom of the issue. Everybody is professional and respectful. Mostly importantly, A. Borrelli make sure everything is all right and stick to the end. Nowadays, seems to be hard to find someone so responsible for what they do. Thanks.

.I have used A Borelli for 21 years. I use them mostly for general maintenance of my heat and AC systems. They handle that perfectly well. Where they excel is when something unexpected comes up.
Our heat was out. I called them on a Saturday. Within an hour they had someone out. He diagnosed the problem, went out for the part and had it fixed within the next hour.
They are always professional and do a good job. It is the emergencies like today that remind me I am glad I have stayed with them all of these years.

Awesome experience. Office staff was helpful, understood what I needed. Able to schld an appt for the following day. Tech explained all my issues, gave options. He worked within my budget, fixed the issue. And was flat honest about me needing a new boiler. I’ll use this company again.

Excellent service that is on spot! The technicians are friendly and caring. They know their business! I’ve been with A. Borrelli for 26 years and I have no complaints. Their annual service contract is reasonably priced, too. Just had my boiler replaced on 1/14/25 by Eric Iparraquirre and Tony. An excellent job with followup too. I am grateful for the workmanship and expertise. The office personnel should also get a shoutout! Liz Torres and Douglas and Kennedie all very professional, personable and caring. Way to go, A. This company recently installed AC system for a family member in the New City area. Bill and his crew did a top notch job. The crew of Eric, Gilberto and Chris couldn't have been more polite, pleasant or professional. It was not a pleasant time to be working in the attic, but they were careful to protect surfaces and clean up each time they worked.

Borrelli Company came to house and assessed problem-$200. Told me he had to order a part and would be back tomorrow- 9 am for an additional cost for parts and labor. Never showed up. Called 2:30 pm to say he ordered the wrong part and was running late and to call them back to reschedule I have to find another HVAC Mechanic. Thanks for nothing !!

One of the advantages to clearly marked vehicles for companies like this is it’s easy to identify horrible drivers who they employee. Probably says a lot about the quality of their work, too. Witnessed one of their vans excessively speeding and dangerously changing lanes multiple times on the highway today and thought to post here instead of waste my time contacting them and probably getting an indifferent managers response. Let’s see if he replies here…
