We have used 915 Construction & Design for a couple of home projects. Most recently they expanded/redesigned our kitchen. The workmanship is excellent and was done in a timely manner. The crew was professional, courteous and friendly. John Keffas and the office staff were always available to answer questions or address concerns. I would not hesitate to use their services for any home project in the future.

John and all the very skilled workers and engineers were extremely professional and did a fantastic job on our kitchen upgrade. Where have you been all of our life?! We are so grateful to Jamie and the entire team at 915 Construction and Handyman Express. They were recommended by a friend who did a major renovation and loved the work! We could not be happier with how they transformed our home, inside and out! We wanted an experienced, reliable builder who would care for our home as much as we do. Estimates were prompt, communication was excellent throughout our project. We did a new exterior, windows, doors, new flooring, a basement renovation, ceiling redesign and lots of built ins. The team has expert craftsmen and work with the best partners. We worked within our budget and the inevitable change orders all made sense and were thoroughly explained. Jamie has a strong design sensibility and made thoughtful suggestions. Upon completion of our project we’ve retained Handyman Express to do some other projects we had been putting off. They are now indispensable partners in the care and maintenance of our home.

The two Juan’s did a full renovation of my 100+ year old house. When the inevitable issues occurred after opening the walls, they came up with fixes that were much better than I was expecting or thinking about. Workmanship was good and the work was done essentially on the expected timeline. Both partners were easy to reach by phone and one of the two were at the site most days and were in contact with my architect whenever clarification was needed.

Ed is a true professional. It was clear from our first interaction how knowledgable and passionate he is about his profession. Decades of experience and a friendly, patient demeanor. Would definitely recommend.

After my experience this week, I can honestly say that Tascone Contracting in Port Washington is amazing. This google listing has a different permutation of his company name and the incorrect address, btw, and he's been trying to fix it. (They do more than slate roofing, btw.)

As the owner and customer-facing contact, Ed is the consummate professional - kind, courteous, and providing exceptional service. He communicates clearly, at the right cadence and times, particularly when trying to schedule in between wacky weather.

On top of the excellent communication, patience and good humor, his crew is amazing, replacing my leaking copper bay window roof. It was old, corroded and (the horror!) painted the color of a copper patina (cue facepalm). Finding someone willing to do a relatively small job in metal (not shingle) with the care and craftsmanship he and his team provided is rare. Finding someone who actually follows through on promises is even rarer. The pricing was fair and upfront; they also created a custom gutter for my bay window roof.

Ed and his team have the ability to diagnose and repair related issues (after all once you open up a leaking roof, you never know what else you'll find underneath). If it's something not directly in his team's wheelhouse, he can refer trusted partners to handle them.

In this case, they also fixed a rotting sill - doing a neat job to replace a shoddy stopgap measure; his crew also explained why certain things were correct vs. incorrect practice, and provided some insight into how I might remediate the rest of the bay window, as did Ed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Tascone Contracting to anyone needing a roofing job big or small.

Ed and his team are great. They came the next day to quote my repair job, the price was fair and his work is beautiful. Highly professional, courteous and honest. He even fixed the trim around my door as a favor which was not part of the original scope. I’ll be calling Tascone for all of my roofing and exterior needs.

We have a nearly 100 year old house with a Vermont slate roof. Recently we experienced a leak that nobody could repair. We finally contacted Ed Tascone who found the problem immediately and solved it. The work was done on time and on budget. Ed's workers were clean, efficient and courteous. We were extremely happy with the service and would not consider using anyone else in the future.

If you have any contracting project, large or small, commercial or home, Northern Contracting is the company for you. Over the past 25 years, they have done two stores and two homes for us. Everything was done professionally, and more importantly, COMPLETELY ON TIME. Their competent and creative design experience enhances every job.

Under the leadership of Greg and Linda, we now have two beautiful, expertly crafted bathrooms thanks to the skill, knowledge, honesty and integrity of the people at Northern Contracting.
After a couple of initial meetings, Greg developed a comprehensive contract that reflected our vision for the outcome we wanted, and that had the specifics of the job spelled out and with a timeline once the work was to start. The work was completed within the proposed timeline and the contract required minimal changes, which means that the proposed cost for the job was accurate.
The workers who did the actual gutting and renovation, kept to a daily schedule, were polite, non-intrusive, hard-working, knowledgeable, trustworthy and cleaned up at the end of each day. The foreman gave us frequent progress reports and discussed with us any decisions that had to be made. The subcontractors (electrical and plumbing) also came when scheduled and performed their work skillfully.
The office staff (generally Patty) were always available by phone. They answered questions, gave referral of vendors, worked with our town to obtain the necessary permit and helped when there were questions that required immediate attention from the foreman or Greg.
We had a superior experience with Northern Contracting and would use them for our next renovation! The bathrooms turned out better than we had thought was possible.

Great team of professionals under the owners supervision. Gerard was on the job everyday supporting his team in delivering our 2,500 square feet addition in Upper Brookville. We highly recommend HOMEREDI for any size project.

I don't write many reviews for one of our clients, but A DIRECT CABINETS has been working with HOMEREDI and Gerard for many years now and I felt that people should know a few things...the owner is consistently and constantly on the job site, being aware of all phases during the construction. I have personally watched the detail and customer service poured into every project from start to finish. The resulting quality is amazing!
