We recently had Brongo’s Tree Service take down several very large trees that were close to our house. What a great job they did! The workers were all very kind, professional and good-natured. They had to deal with an angry hornet's nest and a leaky septic system (hence the need to remove the trees), which they handled with the utmost patience. Brongo’s communication was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. Their cleanup after removal was over the top. I highly recommend Josh and his team to anyone looking for professional tree removal. Thank you, gentlemen, for a job well done!

Two, fifty-year-old maples removed and stump-ground in July 2019. Also, trimmed very large backyard maple. Good clean-up and all done in a day. With this tree service completed, I now know three generations of the Brongo family. Highly recommend. Four stars out of five because nobody's perfect!

Aggressive dudes who don't give a hoot

Called left message in detail with my name and #. A week went by no call back, answering box was full couldn't leave a message. I guess they are to busy to need more work.

The most unprofessional company I have ever been in contact with. Made an appointment for 10:30 am, took the morning off from work and when I called at 11:00 am to ask if anyone was coming they said "I forgot". So angry!

On Friday May 12th, a crew from Brongo came to take down a leaning tree in my neighbor’s back yard. In the course of doing this, they took it upon themselves to trim my redbud tree, and prune my forsythia down to the ground. They trampled my ferns and left bobcat ruts in my backyard. The lawn ornaments they moved were not replaced where they had found them.

The forsythia was rooted from one in my mother’s yard, and we have managed to keep it alive and blooming for 38 years through ice storms, heavy snowfall, this spring’s hurricane winds, and our own tree removal and yard clean up after the March windstorms. We have been pruning the old branches on the forsythia regularly, but leaving new branches so we would have flowers every year. If the bush survives this brutal pruning, it will be at least two years before we see any flowers.

As I was outside taking photos of the damage, a Brongo crew member came over to speak to me. This was my first contact with them. His initial comment in response to my concerns was: “What did you expect?”

Well, I guess I expected professionalism, courtesy, and respect for my property. If Brongo was not going to adequately protect my plantings, I expected the advance opportunity to do it myself.

His position seemed to be that since the leaning tree they were removing from my neighbor’s yard threatened our house, I should be grateful for whatever they were doing, regardless of the damage they caused. His parting comment was “I wish the tree had fallen on your house.”

Tried calling them, went to voice-mail and that was full so it hung up on me. Went to website, filled out request for estimate, received an automated email a couple day later stating someone would contact me soon. That was 3 weeks ago now. Contacted a different tree service on their website, live person calls me back in less than 30 minutes, discussed job, they sent a project manager over for estimate shortly after and now we are in business. Won't waste my time on Brongo anymore nor would I ever recommend.
