You can NOT find a more HONEST company! I hired them to bypass a ballast on a flourescent fixture. They discovered an unrelated faulty contact and repaired it free of charge!!

Excellent customer service, very professional, highly knowledgeable with over two decades in the electrical industry. I am impressed by PMG Electrical work. I’ll definitely recommend to all my family and friends. Thank you Patrick Gibbs,

By far one of the worst electricians I came across. We worked on a house yesterday on Bushwick Ave in Merrick, Long Island and I watched this man break a car charger port. And he acted like I didn’t notice it and charged the homeowner 2k for the job. Patrick Gibbs , black bold headed man PLEASE be aware . He makes a lot of mistakes. I walked off the job, he is hiring helpers and he is not even on the job site …I called him for a 9am job that he setup but he was in the bed sleep. He gonna respond with a lame reply..WEAK lol …horrible service….and I’m still waiting to get paid

Great service by Patrick and his professional crew of polite and certified electricians. they did some heavy duty wiring in my commercial building in farmingdale long island. They got my 220 3 phase compressor wired and dialed in with a new sub panel and ran many new circuits to a small building behind the warehouse. Prices were fair and he was there, he's honest just looking to make a living and doesn't go for the jugular like moat guys out there. Pleasant friendly guy who does fabulous work I give him 5 stars..

Initially we thought we received a great price and services from Mr. Gibbs. All went well until we had to finish the job and another bill came. We wish the full price of the projects would have been disclosed before beginning so we could make the best choice. Regardless of that, as our project proceeded, we stopped seeing Mr Gibbs on site and he would only send his workers to complete the job. There was always miscommunication and sometimes things were not done properly. Mr Gibbs just didn’t want to fix these issues no matter how many times we reached out. I gave up. Now, just a few months later many things have stopped working or have started glitching. He doesn’t use the best quality material. Was happy to work with this company at first but they fell short in the end. Ask a lot of questions and proceed with caution.

This company changed the led Lights for my store on July 2024, Since then the lights went off 3 times because of using cheap Transformer Converter Adaptor. They gave me one year supplies warranty, They came to change the adaptor and they broke my big street flexy sign and instead of being apologetic, The owner started to yell at me and tried to put the blames on me. The lights are not working for the third time and I called and texted the owner ( Mr. Patrick Gibbs) since December and he refused to come and asked me to hire people to open the sign and then he will come to fix the lights. Be advised, Services Investigation.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is GigoPro free to use?

Yes. Browsing businesses, reading reviews, and comparing electricians is free for everyone. Business owners can create a basic listing at no cost.

  • How do you verify businesses on GigoPro?

Every profile goes through moderation before it appears in search. We check that the business is real, actively operating, and actually performs the work it claims. For regulated trades like electrical work, we look for proper licensing, and we automatically hide inactive listings.

  • How do I choose the right electrician?

Start with ratings and recent reviews, then confirm the company is licensed and insured for your specific type of work. Contact two or three providers, ask for written estimates, and compare what each quote includes, not just the bottom line.

  • Can I list my business on GigoPro?

Yes. Create a free business profile to reach local customers searching for your category. You can update services, photos, and contact details anytime, and customers can book you directly from your profile.

  • How often is the directory updated?

Business owners update their own profiles. Our team also refreshes hub pages and removes inactive listings to keep search results current. For example, this page is reviewed and updated monthly.

  • Do I need a permit for electrical work?

Most significant electrical work — new circuits, panel upgrades, rewiring, and solar installations — requires a permit and inspection in most jurisdictions. A licensed electrician handles the permit process and schedules the inspection. Ask about permits before you book.

  • How do I know if my panel needs an upgrade?

Common signs include breakers that trip often, adding major loads (EV charger, solar, heat pump, new kitchen), or still having a fuse box or a 100-amp panel. A licensed electrician can assess your panel and load capacity in a visit.

  • Are electricians on GigoPro licensed and insured?

Electrical work is regulated in every state. Ask each electrician for their license number and proof of insurance before work begins. Professional companies expect these questions and answer them without hesitation.

  • How much does electrical service cost?

Costs vary by job type, region, and complexity — there is no honest single number. Reputable electricians give written estimates after assessing the job, and comparing two or three of them is the best way to understand what your work should cost.

  • Can I leave a review after booking through GigoPro?

Yes. After your job is done, you can rate the electrician and describe your experience. Verified reviews from recent jobs help the next homeowners in your city choose well — and keep listed professionals at their best.
