Paul and his crew from the office staff to his installers are second to none. I had a Mitsubishi HVAC Ductless A/C with a Heat Pump installed. Paul did everything from getting all the proper permits and installed the units. The installers kept areas clean from start to finish. I would recommend County Cooling for any of your HVAC needs.

Great local business! I had Mitsubishi heat pump installed, Paul told me about NYSERDA rebates and special financing for homeowners. They are participating contactor and you can find their information on NYS Clean Heat website. The office handled the rebate paperwork and obtained the permit for the work from the town, they helped to find electrician as well. The workers were very nice and on time. They also did the product warranty registration. The new system works great and I am overall very happy with the experience and the product.

I hired county cooling to install a new Mitsubishi ductless central heating and air conditioning system in my home in the Bronx. I didn't want to install ducts that would take up alot of space and would involve cutting floors and ceilings. I am very familiar with Mitsubishi air conditioning systems and how extremely comfortable they make the home feel and how quiet they are. I myself am an air conditioning contractor in Florida but needed this job done here in N.Y. and after interviewing several companies "County cooling" was my top pick for several reasons "and I was 100% spot on" with my choice. They were priced right, gave a great warranty, had the expertise and experience needed to do proper work, they were very clean, they worked quick and efficient, and handled all my warranty registration for me; what more could anyone ask? I can't imagine that County cooling could find a customer more fussy than me and they impressed me from start to finish, HIRE COUNTY COOLING, YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID! Paul was very thorough in explaining our options. They provided top tier products at a very competitive price. When the heat load calculation came back higher than expected, the additional equipment needed (which increased the work load) was extremely reasonable.
The crew was terriffic! They did an excellent, neat job. They were very accommodating in some minor changes. There is a lot of equipment involved, and they did as concise and neat a job laying it out and installing it as I could have asked. The job took about two weeks and they were on time every morning and cleaned up at the end of each day.
The heat pump mini splits are a very different experience from the hot water radiators we were using. It's only been a few days, and we're learning how best to use them for our needs. My wife had been concerned that they would not heat the house as effectively as the huge, cast iron radiators. That has not been the case! We have more of an issue overheating. Paul has been a great help guiding us, and I'm sure that our heating struggles on the coldest days are in the past.
One final thing- get the optional Wi-Fi control and remote sensors. They are a little pricey, but we have 6 head units running on two condensers over two floors. Being able to check the temperature throughout the house before getting out of bed is much better than having to go room to room with the remotes.

I couldn’t have been more impressed with both Paul and his crew. Paul was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the job. He was very responsive to all questions that we had about the system we got. When the crew came to do the installation they were all very friendly and went out of their way to keep a clean work area during the duration of the job. We are so pleased with the final product as the units are very efficient and whisper quiet.

Originally had my very expensive Mitsubishi heat pumps installed by another local company full of hacks and incompetent people, unfortunately. After firing the original installer for service, I decided to contact County Cooling. When I lost heat last March Paul the owner answered the phone right away and came over while it was freezing to open the faulty condenser and find out there was a chewed thermistor (mice got in the condenser somehow) that was causing the machine to shut down. He ended up fixing the machine the same day with a temporary solution until he was able to replace the part. I have to say dealing with Paul has been day and night compared to the other company. They seem like knowledgeable professionals and will be calling them back if I am ever in need.

Very pleased with the excellent work by Paul and his team at County Cooling. Paul was fair and transparent about the plan and made every effort to ensure the details of our house-wide mini-split installation was according to our preferences and installed in a considerate and respectful way of our family’s needs with a young child at home, naps, etc. The work was done professionally and completely, and extra effort was made to keep to our desired timeline to complete before leaving town on a longer trip. The crew members were friendly and pleasant at all times, and all went very smoothly. Now it’s a really bad heat wave here and we couldn’t be happier and more comfortable with our ductless mini-split units; we are keeping very cool at home and the units work great. Very straight forward and honest company. Did not try to upsell me on a new system when coming to check out my dinosaur of an AC system, instead just focused on helping me replace the thermostat - a very small fix. Will for sure be using this company again when its time for bigger projects

Before hiring Paul and the team at County Cooling I spoke with about half a dozen other contractors. Paul was the most responsive and came up with the best plan for what we were looking for. The price was right and he was aware of the rebate offered through the state where as other contractors were not. County Cooling installed 6 ductless units in my home at the start of the summer. The technician who completed the work was professional and very knowledgeable. He was patient and helped make all of the decision making very easy. The work was done in a timely manner and the communication throughout the project was excellent. All technicians kept an extremely tidy work space, causing very little disruption in our daily routines.
