Landscaping reviews in Spring Valley, New York

I called 3 weeks ago to set up an estimate on a fence project in my yard. It took a week to get someone to my house for the estimate, and now I have waited 2 weeks and still have not received the estimate from mr landscape. I have also called twice this week inquiring about the estimate and have had no success. If it is this hard just to get a 20 minute estimate from them I can't even imagine the frustration if work was actually scheduled To be done. Would not recommend since I wasted taking a day off from work to be home for an estimate that I never received. I would have given zero stars instead of one but that is not an option.

This company has to be one of the most negligent landscaping companies I’ve seen. They have no regard for peoples property. They service the apartments at Osborn manor where I’m a resident and blow rocks and debris directly into peoples vehicles causing damage. They do this every time they come. I have tons of large rock chips on the side of my vehicle and am convinced they were responsible for shooting a rock into my taillight cracking it. I have a lot of video evidence.

Mr. Landscape is doing a masterful job, both in design and in execution. They are courteous, professional, and accommodating. I use them in multiple places and they shine everywhere.

Mr. Landscape had done multiple jobs for us and each job has been exactly what we wanted or better. We just put our townhome on the market. In three days we received three offers all for asking price and most recently an offer for $10k over. We are the only townhome that has a beautiful paved walkway leading up to the house and beautiful paved private backyard.

I think Mr. Landscapes work helped separate my unit. We are moving to a bigger place and already thinking ahead of Mr. Landscapes touch in our new home.

Highly recommend! Competitive prices, quality work and but most important - responsive! They take the time to listen and work with their customers and ensure a quality service is provided. Annual maintenance, mulching, grass seeding and walkway/retaining wall replacement is what they have done for me to-date and I look forward to continuing doing business with them!

I called they said they’ll be out in 2-3 days. No one shows up. I call again they said next day. No one shows up. Then I get a call saying they’ll be there between a time frame. Again no one shows up.

We are so pleased with the work done by Mr. Landscape. They completely transformed our front yard with landscaping, planting, sod, irrigation, new blue stone steps, and a curved blue stone walkway. They listened to what we wanted and made it happen at a reasonable cost. So happy we chose to do business with them. Highly recommend!!!

We used them to do some planting and they were great! Reasonably, knowledgeable and excellent work. I would highly recommend using them.

My family has been using Mr. Landscape for decades. We have always been very happy w them. Pool/ patio/ mulch / landscaping/ driveway/retaining walls /sprinklers…they do it all and are terrific people to work with. Highly recommend!!

We have been working with Brendan Stein at Mr Landscape. Last summer he landscaped the front of our house and did an excellent job. One bush died and it was replaced with no problem. We have had him back this year for additional landscaping. My mom has also had work done and is pleased. I text Brendan directly and he always responds promptly. Do not hesitate to do business with Mr. Landscape.

Throughout this process we literally have been treated like shit.. I gave a deposit and had to pretty much beg this company to start the work.
There were excuses of other jobs needed to be completed first as if a deposit for work hadn't been made.
A simple job that probably could have been completed in a week took three months to complete. Especially since initially it was supposed to be completed in the middle of June. That's where I made my mistake, since this company couldn't confirm a date, I should have went elsewhere.

The side of the yard looks great but I don't have confidence that the back of my yard will come in properly with all of that clumpy soil. Not to mention the left side of my yard is left with rocks and tire marks.

Renovated my entire backyard with Mr. Landscape. Their entire team was very professional and the work came out as was discussed with some tremendous extra features. If you want the job done right go with Mr. Landscape.

What a great experience with Brandon and the team at Mr. Landscape. Worked with them on a few projects. Provided exceptional communication, very fair pricing, and outstanding service. The team went above and beyond to make sure we were informed on all timelines of the project. They were also very aware of the neighborhood and made sure they cleaned up, even if it was off my property. The neighbors were so complimentary a couple of them met with Brandon and are now working with Mr. Landscape as well. What a great family owned company.

We met Rich at a home show and over the course of a year he helped us to formulate a plan to change the topography of our backyard and to transform it! Rich was patient, professional and very knowledgeable. Mr. Landscape provided multiple services including Consultation with imagery to see what you're getting, retaining walls, leveling, irrigation and grass seeding, among other things. Their employees are all very skilled. Rich had a vision for the space that I didn't even understand at first, but he patiently explained it and revised it when we wanted him to. I especially appreciated the fact that he gave us practical advice as end users not just trying to get it over and done with asap. He visited our home multiple times. When we needed him to intervene with the pool company he did, he constantly went above and beyond many times to ensure we had a backyard that is truly an oasis that our family and friends are truly enjoying! We highly recommend Rich and Mr Landscape for all your landscaping needs!

Brandon and his team at Mr. Landscape were phenomenal from start to finish and truly completed our entire front renovation project. The installation of the sod, mulch beds, trees, and plants was done with precision and care, and the final result exceeded our expectations. When the town needed to inspect the water pipes and a portion of our sod was damaged in the process, Brandon immediately stepped in and replaced it at no additional cost, which speaks volumes about his integrity and commitment to his clients.
