Constraction reviews in Staten Island, New York

Had to exchange a BBQ. All were pleasant. They didn't have the one I was returning so they discounted another one $20 to match what I paid originally.
-
Super rude staff, some of them. I've been working on the island for a couple months and have seen multiple employees being huge bags to customers on different occasions. I'd be embarrassed
-
The staff here is very bad, the service and the manager are discriminatory. They were wrong and the service was terrible! And keep saying that our English is not good! The customer service wants to adjust it quickly.

I began working with Paul when we had damage to our home after a snowstorm. I had to have the overhang over my door replaced and it was going to be done through homeowners insurance. As soon as I spoke with Paul over the phone for the first time, I felt very comfortable with him. I met with a few different GC‘s and Paul got the job with no hesitations. He helped me work with my insurance company, which was very helpful. As it turns out once he was done with the overhang I had him do a full bathroom remodel for me as well. Needless to say the bathroom looks fantastic as to the overhang above my front door. His employees were incredibly respectful and clean. I thought I would be vacuuming and mopping every night after having them go in and out all day long and that wasn’t the case whatsoever even though we did a lot of demolition. I was so impressed with how they worked and they were generally just very nice. I have already recommended Paul to my neighbors who are looking at doing some remodeling and I would certainly recommend at least calling him if you are looking for someone.

Paul and his team performed some renovation work in our office building they had a very tight schedule to stick by due to the conditions that were presented they outperformed our expectation
We will definitely hire them again for our future projects -
About a year ago my wife and I renovated a large chunk of the interior of our home... We weren't sure of exactly what we wanted to do.. nor did we know who we would use as this was the first time we were looking to hire someone to do this kind of work ... we reached out to a few contractors and when Paul came to our house by the time he left we knew he would be the right person to undertake our renovation .. we hit it off right away
Paul and his team were incredibly helpful with suggestions and ideas on what we could do with our space in terms of concepts, how to maximize our space, come up with color schemes... all while staying within our budget
We have a 3 year old and my wife was pregnant with our second child and were living in a section of the house during the renovation... throughout the whole process they were extremely sensitive to my the fact my wife was pregnant and would even play my daughter during any downtime during the project ... they left my house extremely clean and outside the obvious fact that we knew we had a project going on you would barely know they were there in terms of noise etc...
Everyone left you with a feeling that you were their family and the work effort and product they created is what they would do for their own families..
I highly recommend Clean Sweep Contracting ... and I am sure after meeting with him to go over you project you will too... -

Never met a commercial contractor that cares more about doing right by the client. Clean

Paul was very helpful in discussing details, suggesting options, and then delivering the project on time and within the budget. We had several changes along the way, all have been patiently implemented, the problems that came up have been skillfully resolved. You can definitely trust this contractor. -
The job was done with much skill, expertise and respect for the compromised areas in need of extensive repair. Clean Sweep took on a tough job and the end results were beautiful. My home looks brand new. I highly recommend using Clean Sweep Contracting for interior residential renovations.

Paul was very friendly and willing to help out with what we needed in our house. We had an exchanger fan put in a bedroom, and a shower window installed. The workers were also friendly helpful people. They did a great job.

There a couple analogies I could use to describe Clean Sweep Contracting. Have you ever watched one of those dream house renovation reality shows? Well, that’s Paul and his Team. Paul himself isn’t just a contractor, and he doesn’t do “jobs”. He’s an artist and a perfectionist. He looks at the renovation he is about to do on your home as his next work of art. He will transform your home into something you never thought possible, using materials you never thought would be in your budget. He’s a master of construction, color coordination, and the latest trends- right down to the most minute detail. He’ll study your project, come up with a vision, and bring it together where your home will resemble something out of a magazine. Above all, after several conversations with him, you will come to realize that this man is all heart. Imagine for a second you hired your own father to renovate your home - that’s Paul. He’ll look out for you at every turn, and make sure everything is done right, safe, and look to minimize cost where he can, and beautify where it counts. As for his crew, these are not just day laborers. They are true craftsman, with the same expertise and attention to detail as Paul himself. They are like happy warriors, always smiling when you see them, and incredibly respectful of you and your home - yes, just like those dream renovation reality shows. To give you an idea where I’m coming from, Paul did a major renovation for my family. A 2 family 4000 square foot home on Staten Island - 1 kitchen, 3 full bathrooms (full demo) including complete bathroom redesign, all new wood flooring on the entire second level, sanding and refinishing wood flooring on the entire first level, replacing every door in the house (about 30 doors), sheetrocking the entire foyer and several other rooms that were covered in wallpaper, new ceilings with high hats in many rooms, moulding, crown moulding, base moulding, and wainscoting throughout the entire home, replace electrical throughout, and blowing out some rooms to make them larger. Paul is also an expert at redesigning your space and bathroom to make them handicapped friendly, as we needed to do with our apartment. His MO is the wainscoting. Give him the latitude, and Paul could make your home resemble something out of the Vatican. As for cost, I met with 2 other contractors before Paul. One was a bit higher, the other a bit lower, but after meeting Paul, there was no question in my mind. Paul was the expert I needed. I knew my wife and I couldn’t think of everything on our own. We needed help - and Paul is just like the guy you see in those dream renovation reality shows. The only thing you’ll have to keep in mind is, you should plan ahead to get Paul. His phone is ringing off the hook with repeat business from all the families he’s worked with before and their friends. He won’t do multiple jobs at one time. He explained to me over and over he needs to run each job himself, hands on every aspect of the project. I’m almost sad my renovation is over - which was completed 100% in an amazing short time frame considering all the work. Paul was such a great guy to have in your corner. Before we attempted this project, we didn’t know Paul at all. Now he’s a friend of the family.

I just had my bathroom remodeled by Clean Sweep Contracting, and I couldn’t be happier! Paul always answered his phone, when I had a million questions to ask! Having a 9 month old baby at home during a reno, is not fun! But Paul and his team made the process go so smooth! I am so happy with the final product and would definitely recommend this company! I will be using them again!!

Came close to contracting Cleansweep Contracting, but we ultimately changed our renovation plans. Throughout the entire process of estimates and reviews, I was impressed with Paul's great communication. Nevertheless, I felt her earned a positive review, so posting that here.
