Joe and his team did a phenomenal job. They did it quickly and surpassed my expectations. Their price quoted is fair and below all other bidders

I called 6 landscaping companies this past Friday - Sunday to get quotes and inquire about scheduling. 4 out of 6 said they were open on Google but no one answered or called me back.

I took a shot and reached out to J & J even though they were out of state, in Staten Island. Figured it was a long shot but was very surprised when not only did they answer, they asked for photos of what I needed and walked me through what could and couldn't be done in the time frame & budget I was looking for.

They showed up the very next morning, exactly when they said they would and were done within an hour. As they were finishing up, Joe sent me the invoice with a full breakdown of services as well as payment options.

As easing as ordering on Amazon, the whole process was seamless. 10 🌟! Will ABSOLUTELY use them again.

Dont use this company for your landscaping services, they like to rush the job and pay little to no attention at detail of their work, I have images of them putting sod in my backyard on top of gravel instead of removing the gravel first and dig 4 inches as talked about, 3 days later my grass started getting yellow even though we followed his instructions of watering 2 times a day for 30 mins each but because how they laid the sod is what killed the grass.

We were very happy with the way everything turned out! Joe was very professional and responsive, he made the right recommendations and listened. He has a hard working crew!! Will definitely recommend J and J! Prices were fair and work was great!

I have nothing but great things to say about this company! Joe and James are very professional. James came and gave me a free estimate and worked with my budget. He understood exactly what I was looking for. Joe came the next day and explained how and when everything was going to happen. Their workers were respectful and cleaned up after themselves daily. We did our front lawn and also stained our back deck but they do everything! Now I know who to call for any future projects. Give them a call, you won't be sorry!

Absolutely AMAZING! Had no idea what should have been done with my front landscaping, Joe came in gave me his honest opinion and did an amazing job! J&J takes all of my landscaping needs, maintaining my property throughout the year. I asked Joe to install 2 privacy walls that I’ll have them cover in vines next season. They did such a great job installing the walls, looks better than I thought. They came by one Saturday morning and got everything finished and cleaned up by lunch. Excellent company, highly reccommend for all your landscaping needs!! They are also excellent in installing paver patios, if you’re looking to get yours done don’t call anyone else!! Thank you for everything J&J !!

I am editing my post to add yet another amazing job by Joe and James at J&J Landscaping. They helped us add major curb appeal with an overhaul to the beds in front of our house. The finished product compliments our new steps and walkways. Very happy with the finished product!

J&J Landscaping came to my school to help fix up the courtyard. Joseph came in to give me an estimate that was very fair, compared to other places. Joseph was very helpful and listened to our ideas and worked with us by being honest about what would and wouldn’t work. The day him and his coworkers came in, they were very professional, worked hard, and made sure to clean up after themselves. They did an amazing job and I am grateful for them!

We just had J&J Landscaping do some concrete work in our back yard as well as build a retaining wall in our front yard. James and Joe were so great to work with- during our quote they came up with great ideas for us to consider and worked with us every step of the way. J&J Landscaping has done numerous jobs for me. They are fast, courteous and reliable. They have always beaten any prices I’ve gotten from other landscape and construction companies. Their most recent job for me was removing all of my weed infested gravel and replacing it with sod and also replacing a chain link fence with PVC. They did an amazing job and I will be using them for all my future jobs!

Teamed up with six other neighbors in Carroll Gardens neighborhood along our block on President Street to have our sidewalk done about seven years ago. Unfortunately, every single one of the sidewalks that were done by Sagona began crumbling just a couple of years after completion and now in poor shape. Some in the business say that it was too much sand in the mix. We will never know because Sadona Landscape Contractors ignored our outreach efforts to take a look at this unacceptable work.

I moved into my house in June of 2025 and contracted Sagona Contractors to do my full backyard with waterfalls to my pool, driveway and the full front of my house! They did a complete design and layout for me and did impeccable work thru out. There work and workers are exactly how Tommy & Kevin present themselves and the flawless outcome proves it. The full construction took about 2 months and the work will last for years to come. When my friends and family see the outcome all I say is Sagona is the absolute best of the best hands down!!!!

Sagona Landscaping handled the hardscaping at the front of my house—driveway and walkway pavers—and also installed my irrigation system. Tom Sagona is a great guy and a true professional, and his crew is neat, efficient, and really knows what they’re doing.

I had a fantastic experience working with Sagona Landscaping. I primarily dealt with the owner, Tom Sagona, who was wonderful to work with. I originally brought him in to repair blue stone steps in my yard—a job several others were unable to handle. Tom took the time to thoroughly explain the technical challenges, which helped me understand the issue from the start.

Beyond the expert craftsmanship, the office staff was great to coordinate with, and the workers on-site were fantastic. After the masonry work, they did additional work on my front yard, and it looks beautiful. Sagona was fairly priced and Tom walked me through the complete cost. The crew arrived promptly every day and left the workspace spotless. I highly recommend this team and already plan to use them for an upcoming project!
