Our annual air conditioning check-up went well today with technician Manish being very thorough and friendly. The service has been great over the years, especially when our AC capacitor failed two summers ago - they responded quickly while our family had a new baby, and we've stuck with Stanley Gelber since then.

This company is a complete disaster, especially when it comes to customer service. They're all about upselling service contracts, but when there's an actual issue, they just stall until the warranty runs out. The "managers" are incompetent and don't know what they're doing. I had an issue with my carrier unit in early spring, which I reported under warranty. They told me parts weren't available until October, citing China as the reason. But when I checked with Carrier directly, they had no record of our communication and confirmed that all necessary parts are readily available. It's clear they're more interested in making money than helping customers.

Tried to get service in the middle of a downpour. Came prepared, even wearing disposable shoes to protect my floors. Ruben and his assistant were courteous and tidy. Did a thorough job on the tune-up, catching all necessary hitches. Highly recommend.
