Spent 140 bucks for them to tell me the filter was not GE issued. It was a 3 pack purchased from GE and the other two worked this was the last one in the package. Waste of my time and money to have them come out.

My OTR microwave oven failed in early October and was referred to Sears Appliance Repair by Lowes for repair under warranty by an Assurion warranty. The technician from Sears who came after about two weeks, diagnosed the failure and called the results in to Assurion (or Sears) and was told that the unit was to be repaired and parts were ordered and delivered but I could not get a repair service call earlier than November 12th. This tech attempted to repair the unit but found that the problem was misdiagnosed and the parts ordered did not fix the problem. Now, Assurion has agreed to replace the unit, but I don't know how soon. I have now been without the microwave for at least a month and not sure when I will get a replacement. I am not pleased with the service response time.

This repair was covered under a 3 year service warranty thru Lowe’s , so I had zero $ out of pocket expense

Unfortunately, I had to wait 2 weeks for the 1st technician to come and diagnose the problem. Parts were ordered for the repair which was another 2 weeks. Tech installed parts- waited 2 days for system reset but fridge/freezer still not working. Techs that arrived were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Just very disappointed in the time it's taking to resolve the issue.

Had the replacement part on the truck, repair went smoothly. Got good advice on appliance reliability and things that make washer/dryers go bump in the night.

Joe was great! Professional, efficient, knowledgeable and just plain outstanding. I was very, very pleased.
