Very professional and knowledgeable!

Knowledgeable and skilled craftsmen!
Very happy with his work.

Very quick to respond to a small job. Good price. Thanks phil.

Phil has done a number of projects for us. First rate work.

Excellent service. Super personable, and professional. Definitely experts in their craft and would recommend their work to anyone interior or exterior.

Phil was very responsive and his craftsmanship was superb. He fixed a sagging porch roof which looked great and held up perfectly.

Redid a whole section of roof after one of those heavy rains last season exposed a small leak in the house. Came right out to assess the job, gave a quote immediately, and got the job done within about a week. Looks great, matches the rest of the roof, and no water!

Definitely calling again when other work comes up.

Constructive Improvements replaced our deck posts, rejuvenated our lower deck, and re-decked our upper deck with TimberTech Azek decking. Both Phil and Mike are true craftsmen paying close attention to the minutest detail. The results exceed my expectations.

Constructive Improvements recently resolved two roof issues. Phil is a true professional. He arrived as scheduled and delivered both projects on time and on budget. I highly recommend CI!

Phil re did our kitchen/living room. He truly made my dream come true. Everyone who sees our new kitchen is blown away. We loved his work so much we booked him for for more work in 2023!!

Phil is a top notch contractor! He has now done 3 different projects for us with fair pricing, showed up when he said he would, completed the projects on time and does great work! We highly recommend Phil!

These guys are excellent. Extremely high quality workmanship. Advice was sound, estimate was reasonable and did not stray. I had a rotted joist problem caused by a faulty installation of a deck many years ago. They had the problem diagnosed in minutes and fixed the problem the next day by replacing the rotted joist and adjacent boards. I will be using them for a couple repairs and a new deck asap. I would highly recommend them based on my direct experience and those of others I researched.

I have used Constructive Improvements for 3 jobs, and every one came out great. Phil is a great person and does amazing work. If you need anything done on your house, Phil is your guy!

We couldn’t be more delighted with our new roof. The reconstructed eaves are better and stronger than new, and all the issues with ventilation of the attic space have been corrected. The new black shingles and matching drip edge look spectacular. Our neighbors have all commented positively on the work, and one who recently had a re-roof done by another contractor exclaimed: “Wow, I wish I’d had them do my roof”.
For real solutions to problems, quality materials and workmanship, and attention to detail second to none, Constructive Improvements is the outfit you need on your next project! -Mark and Doreen, Penfield NY.

My wife and I have hired Phil and his company on several occasions now. Anything from painting to custom showers. Constructive Improvements is the company you want to hire. Extremely professional, on time, the pride in their work and the craftsmanship along with detail is top notch!!

Constructive Improvements did an excellent job remodeling our primary bathroom. They took the time to make everything right and cleaned up afterwards every day. We will definitely be having them back for our next project since I know it will be done properly.

We’ve only just begun our journey using Constructive Improvements & already feel in good hands. Simply called for an estimate, not only were they communicative & prompt about coming out but they were honest & educational about the different ways to approach each project to cater specifically to our circumstances. Honest, thorough companies are hard to come by nowadays.

I had an issue with water dripping inside my house through several windows when it rained. I called *four* different local contractors. Two never got back to me and one came and gave me a quote that was absolutely insane.

Phil at Constructive Improvements came and made a real assessment based on what he saw and what I described. Rather than put a band-aid on the windows, he addressed the root-cause of the issue.

Today's day in age I've found that contractors that actually get back to you, are honest, don't take advantage of homeowners are few and far between. Constructive Improvements is one of those companies.

Phil is a professional, courteous and very capable man and he and his Team can get it done whatever the task. We were ourselves referred by a friend to Phil and could not be happier with the results. Even in the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic he was able to safely, cost effectively and politely get it done for us.

I would HIGHLY recommend Phil for any Construction related tasks and we look forward to him being back in the Spring for some additional work we have as well. Give him a call for your next project, you will be glad you did!

Phil is one of the last honest contractors left. I used to have all kinds of issues with other guys, but after I went with Constructive Improvements it was like I hired family - I know I'm going to get quality work. I just called him for an HVAC issue, and he ran some diagnostics and got me up and running asap. He's quick, reliable, fair with pricing, and does A+ work.

I've had Phil work on three projects (remodeled bath, fireplace, custom trim work) and don't know that I would ever go anywhere else. He puts such care and attention into the work that the end product is a quality finish. If you get a quote and it seems a little higher than the other, don't doubt it. It will be worth every penny. I already have a few more projects in mind and Phil will be my first call.
