Called for an appointment nobody showed? Called to confirm, guy on the phone said he would call back and never did....i would strongly suggest going somewhere else.

Fast and corteous service. They had to come twice, because I had to do some demolition and clean up to give them access to diagnose the problem, and they did not charge extra. Highly recommend

I should have paid attention the other reviews. I setup an appointment and no one bother showing up or calling me. When I called to inquire about the no show I was told they didn't recollect the phone call for the appointment. I would stay away if you plan on taking time off in anticipation of them committing to their appointment.

My mother had an emergency with her toilet. Called Kanderfer and he came over in no time at all. He fixed the problem and was very professional. Thank you so much. Hope we never need a plumber again, but if we do, I will call Kanderfer again.

Called Kandefer to replace my mothers water shut off valve in her basement. First time he showed up a few months ago he charged my mother approx. $95 to loosen a nut, instead of replacing the valve I had asked them to change. Due to not replacing the valve, we ended up with the same problem we originally had. This time the repairman showed up with an attitude probably because I was there and I wouldn't let him take advantage of us. When I showed him what we were having a problem with he went on a verbal tirade towards me and my elderly mother stating he won't replace it because I will complain he didn't replace the outside bib. I asked him why it needs to be replaced when it had been recently replaced (he did not look at it and refused to do so), he continued his tirade and walked out of the house SCREAMING at us. I tried to calm him down and ask what he would recommend, but he would not stop screaming to listen. It was the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. I called the owner to report it and he said he would call me on Monday (3 days later) after he spoke with the repairman. It is now 5 days later and I am still waiting for his call.

Never bothered to show up. Last Thursday morning I called about a toilet repair for my business. They said a tech would come Friday afternoon. Friday around 2:30 still no tech SoNI called back. Got an older man on the phone who said he would call the tech and get right back to me. Never called back. Never showed. It's been a week and still no call. Will NEVER do business with them. I'm a small business owner and my customers need to be able to use the bathroom!!

Two guys showed up and installed one brand name kitchen faucet that we purchased for my mother-in-law. It was a weekday. They charged $200, left a mess under the sink and floor and didn't check the drain as they told her they did. They ran some water but didn't snake it. She lives alone and had moved in 2 days before and in 4 days did very little dish washing. The drain clogged and when she called was told maybe she had put something down the drain! She was told she'd be charged double time to come out the next day, a Saturday even though they didn't do what they should have on the initial visit. Needless to say, we called another plumber who came out and did the job the RIGHT way. He found pieces of a very old rubber glove that had to have been there since the apartment was last used 15 years ago. Will not use them again.

Called and specifically asked for tech to camera the line to look for possible leaks. Tech came out, spent 30 minutes running water, NO camera for the line, and for this the company charges $244 after "mistakenly" trying to charge me $331. (Invoice # 13132)

We built our house in 1980 and have never had any issues with water in the basement, until this year. Three times since the spring thaw and heavy rains, there has been water seepage in rear corner of basement. Contractor friend referred us to Day and Night. Start process simply, rather than the nuclear option. Mr.. Toby Mersinger was sent and arrived as scheduled. Typical Hamburg weather : cold, wet, muddy; throw in some rain, freezing drizzle and wet snow, coming down ---- no problem !!! . I showed Toby the yard, culverts and basement. Within 5 minutes he explained the problems with any and all. 2 minutes later he was in the culvert with shovel in hand. Popped open the trailer and went to work with the water jets. Under driveway culvert, open culvert, yard drain tiles, downspout/ sump pump discharge, all blown out and drainage moving like new. Next: moved inside and used the water jetting to clean out sump pit and basement drain tiles, all the way around in both directions, back and forth, just to make sure. Well, it didn't take long, two days later, another snow melt and all day heavy rain. Yard drainage moving great and no water in basement. With fingers crossed we will watch and wait for spring. What a great job!!!!!!!!!!!!
