I was here early in the morning for business, and parked waiting in front of the building. While waiting, some rude lady in a red honda cr-v parked next to me and yelled at me saying I can't park there, I'm in her spot. There was no sign. She literally parked next to me in an open spot. After that, I decided to take my business elsewhere. Who treats customers like that? Wow.

Absolute Electrical was the 3rd company I called for an estimate on installing an EV car charger. They were by far the most knowledgeable. They provided prompt service and excellent customer service when I had questions, even days after completing the job. Highly recommended!

Be prepare for a one day 500 dollar job to magically balloon into a 5k job that takes week.

Was directed to them through the q-merit service. Need a simple 17 foot run across a wall to a 125 amp sub panel in garage for an EV charger.

A lot of red flags:

They needed to inspect the site; however. the job was very simple I was providing all materials and I had given a very detailed list and pictures. (I have actually wired this exact charger up once before personally).

Next there was a “conference” that was to push the inspection date back 3 weeks.

Next they started asking for info for a permit that you don’t need in the town of north Hempstead.

When they came for the inspection they couldn’t correctly identify the amperage of the panel they had just inspected or its bus rating.

When i corrected them and noted the panel and wire was overrated for the application, they hung up and denied the request.

Bad customer service. Not knowledge in their own field. Slow. You can fill in the rest.
