I don’t have enough good thinks to say about John and his whole crew. John was incredibly responsive, helpful, and very experienced; he clearly knew what he was doing every step of the way which gave me huge confidence in my entire project! His crew was hard working, timely, and incredibly professional. Prices were good, and I felt confident that the work was being done as well and as quickly as possible. I’m so grateful to have found National Lawn; I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I used them for the Installation of a new 6 zones irrigation system. Everything went smoothly, from the very first contact with Artie to discuss the project and he quote to the team who worked really hard on the installation. They are very responsive to answer questions and fix issues. The price is right as well.

Multiple great experiences with National Lawn. They handle all of our irrigation systems and recently installed two extensive landscape lighting projects. The workmanship is excellent, project managers communicate effectively and the prices are on point.

Wow!!! Talk about shoddy service. I have left two calls asking to speak to the gentleman that fitted our sprinkler system a few years back (Paolo). Radio silence. Ironically, it was trying to get him aligned to my neighbor who is elderly and seeking automated sprinklers as she is dealing with a broken arm and a husband with dementia. I called to cancel my seasonal service and they refuse to send a confirmation of cancellation. The rude attitude on the other side of the line was the cherry on the top. If you want shoddy service, no response and a terrible attitude, I highly suggest you use these guys. S

Dealing with National was such a pleasure. They were on time, did a wonderful job adding 6 zones to my existing sprinkler system as well as changing out my old controller for the brand new Hydrawise. After installation, they followed up to make sure everything was connected and working perfectly. They were just outstanding from beginning to end and were also very reasonably priced.

I would recommend them hands down over anyone else.

National Lawn's team was super professional and very thorough when inspecting my sprinkler system that had been off for almost 4 years. They checked each head in every zone (there were 30) & explained the differences in the heads. Following that they fully programed the system to my liking and explained how to do it myself in the future. They were kind and patient and made sure I felt comfortable working the system before leaving. Highly recommend!

I don't often post positive or negative business reviews, but once in a while there's an outlier that deserves to be shared. This year, we did a lot of business with National Lawn Sprinklers ... a few upgrades to our system, some maintenance and two unanticipated repairs. We've owned our house since 2013, and we've used National since the first day we arrived. But this year put National to the test.

RESPONSIVE: Whether I call or send an email, National has been able to get someone to our house the same or the next day every time. And while I've got a lot more flex on scheduling these days while working from home, National has almost always been able to adapt where I need them.

QUALITY: Our lawn, flowers and shrubs look great. And it's been super-hot in New York this summer. The teams that come out know how to ensure we have coverage, and have been helpful in designing our sprinkler system so that both water hungry and generally drought-resistant plants both get what they need.

VALUE: National takes care of its customers. While I haven't comparison shopped, it never feels like our bills are anything but fair. And when we've had to make some adjustments here or there on new irrigation patterns they installed this year, National has never charged us a penny. They stand behind what they do.

Like I said at the top, I rarely write about those that provide service at our home. But I've seen NLS a lot this summer and it seemed like the right thing to do to say "thank you" for the great customer experience.

National Lawn did an amazing job setting up the sprinkler system at my new home. Rodrigo and Yan did an absolute excellent job when they walked me through my entire system and assisted me in renaming all the zones to make it easy to understand what is what. Rodrigo was extremely patient and helped to answer all my questions. Any time I have a question or concern I can call up the office and receive friendly, quick, and thorough help from Paolo. I would recommend National Lawn to my friends, family, and neighbors.

I have been using National for 4 years. They are very consistent. National closes my system and part of that fee is opening and optimizing the system. They are very knowledgeable about water times and duration of watering. I have recently changed the configuration of my lawn and they have been awesome at working with me to adapt the system. Mario is professional and courteous. He is excellent with the system and his workers.

We just had our irrigation system installed. It was a pleasure to deal with Artie. He was on time, professional and very knowledgeable. From the consultation to the installation, all the work was done quickly and professionally. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to have an irrigation system installed!

I have been a customer of National Lawn Sprinkler’s for many years. The office is extremely helpful in setting up appointments. Jen goes out of her way to assist me with all issues from scheduling to billing.
The firm has the most up to date technology in ascertaining that the system is perfectly working. If there is an issue with a zone or weather, they can remotely correct it!
Palo and his team have been exceptional when out our home. They don’t leave until the job is complete and we are satisfied.
I wish more firms could live up to their expectations and results!!

Artie Petroni came out and gave me a great price which was half of what other people were charging for the same work. The guys who cam out were hard working and made sure every thing was right before they left.

I also own a chemical lawn treatment company called Chemturf and I refer my clients to other companies that provide good service. I have referred Artie @ National Lawn Sprinkler Co. to about 10 new customers all of whom have signed up and had new systems installed or repairs made, every single one of those customers have emailed me to thank me for sending them someone who was professional and knowledgable.

National Lawn is the absolute best.
Artie recently did my home’s outdoor lighting/design. He was thorough and thoughtful in his approach. The outcome was better than my expectations.
Paolo installed an outdoor sound system and went above and beyond during the installation process as well.
Prices are fair. Work is exceptional. National should be your first call for any outdoor home service or upgrade.

This place is good for regular service but they have enough customers that if you require something beyond winterization and spring startup there’s a good chance something will be missed. Its hard to be made a priority and there’s a get in, get out mentality that nearly ensures a substandard result.

Following my previous comment, upper management engaged in a candid discussion with me regarding my experience. It appears that significant changes are being implemented at the top to enhance the customer experience in the future. I am contemplating utilizing National for my sprinkler services next season.

Artie's business is called National Lawn Sprinklers but should also including Lighting. I'm sure he's great at sprinkler systems but he installed outdoor lights for my backyard pool area and did an amazing job. Really made my outdoor area beautiful and was the finishing touch needed to complete my outdoor renovation. I highly recommend Artie and his company and completely trust his opinion and recommendations. He's honest, reliable, professional and really good at what he does.

Artie and his entire team are wonderful. Truly knows what they’re doing and does a great job. They did my sprinklers and lighting, happy with both. The ladies at the office are also nice and helpful.

Great overall experience! We have been meaning to put in a irrigation / sprinkler system for years. As luck would have it, our next-door neighbor had Artie over there giving them a price quote on a system. Our neighbor called over to me, and asked me if I would be interested in speaking to Artie as well. The price quotes came in very reasonable, so both my neighbor and I signed up for systems. Artie was very patient and well-versed in the details of the system, and answered all my questions clearly. During the installation, Chato and the guys on the install team were all very helpful and friendly. Once the install was done, Paolo was also super helpful - showed us how the system worked, how to control it, and patiently and thoroughly answered all the questions I had. I’m quite excited about the system. And if/when I need more services in this area, these are definitely the guys that I will call. We’ve already recommended another neighbor to them as well.

We did our outdoor lighting with National and had them take over our existing sprinkler system. Artie came by and spoke with confidence, we could tell he loves what he does. The final effect looks amazing and my neighbors have mentioned it. Paolo came by to take a look at the sprinklers. He gave me options but suggested we start with easy fixes first so we can get to know each other. I feel comfortable with the decision to work with this team and very happy with the results so far.

Artie and his team did an amazing job. They repaired our sprinkler system. They also installed beautiful lighting in our backyard. Artie was wonderful throughout the entire process. He took the time to assess our yard and where light would be best suited for both aesthetic and safety. He even brought over samples of different lighting options. Professionalism at its best. After receiving quotes from other irrigation companies I decided to give National Lawn Sprinklers a call. Artie was extremely knowledgeable about the trade and during our walk through he had some common sense suggestions. He was personable and professional. Artie was the ONLY contractor who tested the water supply PSI. From that point even before receiving his quote I was set on using National Lawn Sprinklers.
Installation went as planned, Artie’s crew was amazing, they were well organized and worked as a unit. Afterwards his crew clean up was excellent and disturbance to the lawn was minimal. Artie’s post installation visit was great and he answered all of my questions.
This was my first experience with an irrigation installation. I must admit that I had an irrigation system in my previous residence and had some general knowledge with irrigation. National Lawn Sprinklers exceeded my expectations and was an excellent choice. I would no doubt recommend them for your irrigation needs.
