Contractor reviews in Advance, North Carolina

I hired Crisco Construction for drywall on a project I’ve been busting my butt on, and they straight up crushed it, absolute legends! This crew is insanely professional, lightning fast, and just ridiculously awesome to work with. The kind of people you give your house keys to so you can go to work and not worry. They showed up in just a few days, hammered it out at warp speed, and left behind flawless, smooth, and professional drywall work. Not a single flaw! This review is after me staring at their work for a few weeks now!
If you want a drywall team that shows up swinging, gets the job done better and faster than anyone else, and keeps the vibe high the whole time, Crisco Construction is undisputed. Best crew I’ve ever had. I’m calling them again on my next project, no question. These guys are fire, I highly recommend!!

I highly recommend Crisco Construction. They recently remodeled my bathroom. Matt listened to my ideas and gave me professional advice. The drywall work was flawless. I look forward to my next project with Matt and Edwin!

Matthew and Kenny replaced my moms bathtub with a new tile shower.. I would not hesitate to hire them. Three price quotes and the lowest by far. Very reasonable. Great guys and very easy to work with. Work was very meticulous. The bathroom had been painted years ago and figured she would have to do at least some touch up paint. No touchups of any kind whatsoever.. It is very hard nowadays to find good quality and someone reliable.. Love the new shower!!!

Bathroom rotten floor repair, new floor and new toilet installed in a day. Professional and efficient, thank you!

Always great to work with Crisco Construction. Honest and reliable, and always top quality!

We had a few different jobs needing done at our house. Matthew and his crew did a really good job taking care of it all!

Love our new bathrooms! Matthew and his crew did an amazing job!

Crisco construction did a great job at fixing our basement issue. We talked through options , costs , steps and made a choice. They show up early and got it done. Love a company that shows up and does exactly what they say! Thats not always easy to find these days.

Matt did a great job finishing our basement. Drywall installation, replacing carpeted stairs with hardwood, installing a bathroom, and flooring. My favorite thing about working with Matt was they he was there every day of the project to see and execute to a high standard.
Thanks Matt!

Matthew and his crew have always went above and beyond. We have used him multiple times from the day we purchased our house, and intend to use him exclusively for our needs. Crisco Construction, on a couple occasions, has run into more work than we knew needed repair (after digging into it) he has always been exceptionally good at taking care of it, whether it involved late days or weekends. Pricing is always fair, especially for the tedious work, by tedious I mean lining up tile perfectly, making sure we were 100% satisfied, even a follow up call to just check. There are cheaper contractors (not by much) however, the quality of work that Matthew does far, far outweighs the problems that pop up using a cheaper firm. He also is very fair in his pricing to come repair something I tried to fix (I usually made it worse), if I were to look for a negative with Matthew there are none that I can think of, 🤔 wait-he did miss my birthday. 😆 🤣

One thing I failed to mention, we have 3 cats that are escape artists, the entire time Matthew and his crew were in and out of the house, not once were they (cats) able to get out.

If you are still not convinced, please read other reviews, I will also say that this review is honest, and I am not a relative, I don't know where he lives, never been to dinner, so I gain nothing for this. Check his company out, I do not think you will be disappointed!

Matthew and his team did an exceptional job with our walk up attic, drywall job! Great quality, fair price and very responsive!

Felt very taken care of throughout the entire process, start to finish!

Highly recommend them! Will use them in the future for all of our home construction projects!

Crisco Construction did drywall work at our home and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of their work, it looks FANTASTIC!!! And the bonus with using this company is that they show up on time, keep a clean work environment, and Matthew always responded quickly to calls and texts. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for their services.

Matt from Crisco Construction is amazing! It’s a family run company, and they truly care about their customers. The work he did on our house was done professionally and in a timely fashion. We couldn’t be much happier with his work!

Crisco installed our waterproof LVP entire 2nd floor, replacing wall to wall white carpet. The crew did such a great job. It looks amazing, and so much better for our household. They were punctual, respectful of our home and pets, cleaned up each day well after the work. We couldnt be happier with the work they performed. We have other projects and will be in touch with them soon for the next one! Thank you all

Mathew & his crew did a fantastic job on our kitchen remodel. He was courteous of our home & worked diligently to get the job done in a timely manner. He installed our vinyl plank flooring, removed old tile backsplash & installed new backsplash. I had space between my cabinets & ceiling. We showed him what we wanted to do there & he accomplished it perfectly. Do not hesitate to call Mathew, he'll do a great job.

Not only was Matt and his crew prompt, they were also tidy in their work, asked questions to clarity the expectations, and provided economical recommendations to improve the final product.

Crisco construction finished the bonus room above our garage. They did an excellent job. We’ve used them in the past and will continue to use them going forward. Excellent work!!

Matthew has completed over $15k worth of work within the past three years and are always happy with the results. Between roof installation, wall installation, custom closet, window installation, countertop installation, plumbing repairs, he is the key that makes our house a home!

Matthew and crew repaired our drywall and plumbing due to a water leak. This was short notice. We are extremely happy with the results. They did a great job and meticulous in clean up from start to finish.

Our experiance with Crisco Construction has been top notch and I have had them do a bathroom remodel, installed a new roof on the house, and replace all of the support beams under the house and replace the insulation. My wife and I will have been in our house for four years this coming September and I have used Crisco Construction from day one. I highly recommend them and most of all I trust them. <New edit> Mathew and crew just finished a car port conversion and built a new room for my wife so she can set up all of her quilting and sewing equipment and then built us a new two car carport. My wife and I am very pleased how the project turned out. If you have a pending project just call Mathew with Crisco construction, you won't be disappointed

We recently had our bathroom remodeled by Matthew Crisco, owner of Crisco Construction. He answered all of our questions, listened tentatively to any concerns, and stayed in constant communication through text, phone calls, and while on the job. Him and his employees are very professional and take pride in their work. We couldn't be more happy with our new bathroom!! My husband and I highly recommend him for your next project!!
