We have used Appliance Depot for 15 years. Hank is the most knowledgeable and honest person we have ever dealt with in the industry.

If I could give this business 0 stars I would. Called and spoke to the owner for a warranty repair for my Electrolux appliance. The owner told me he would not fix it because Electrolux owed him money. Then he told me that if I wanted him to fix it I would have to call Electrolux and get them to pay him. I told him that was not my job or responsibility and hung up. Crappiest customer service I have ever received and I only spoke to him for 45 seconds!

Hank provided timely and exceptional service to repair our Maytag washing machine.

Fridge stopped cooling one morning; I am not a technician, but tried to test out some of the items I could to determine the problem. Came down to compressor or relay switch. Contacted this guy and left a voicemail detailing my problem (we live 10 mins from his business). Texted me at 7:30am saturday that thunderstorms typically short motherboard, unplug it for 10 mins and it should be good. Not sure where he got the idea that a thunderstorm was related, as we had no rain whatsoever when the incident happened. Texted him back and told him I thought it could be the compressor, but not sure. Said. ah well then its typically not worth fixing, buy another fridge. Never came to see what the problem was, never took the time to ask questions. When I pointed out sarcastically 'Well thanks for taking the time to at least come and look at it', says seems like I did a good enough job of diagnosing the problem myself. Unprofessional (as stated in other negative review on Yelp and elsewhere). Dont waste your time or money on this bum.

Was extremely caught off gaurd when I had to pay 95 dollars for him to come out and say the fridge couldn't be fixed. When he said to fix it would be around 250 if he could. Guess to me I was expecting 40 to 50 dollar charge if he couldn't fix. Especially when the service call lastest all of 5 minutes(if that). He didnt even have to get out s screw driver, just checked the voltage. Just seemed to be a really high charge.

Hank is great. Honest, reasonable, and reliable and always comes right out when we need him. I have referred him to so many friends and neighbors and they all say the same! Highly recommended!!

Hank was amazing. Honest and very very dependable. Fixed our busted oven in no time flat for much less than the cost of replacing the unit. Recommend with 10 stars but only 5 are available. 😁

Hank came out early the next morning to fix our washing machine. He was courteous, fast, and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!

I called Appliance Depot in Angier to repair my bottom freezer refrigerator. The owner, Hank; returned my call promptly. I sent him the info on the type of refrigerator and a recording of the sound it was making. Rather than do an expensive service call, he told me what to do over the phone. I followed his instructions and now my refrigerator doesn't make those horrible noises.
I really appreciate his honesty and professionalism. It would have been very simple for him to make a service call and charge a huge fee to tell me the same information. You just don't find this high level customer service and respect anymore. Thank you!

I called at 0635 hrs. Hank responded within about 5 minutes requesting symptoms and machine identification. He showed up around 0900 hrs and fixed the issue in less than 20 minutes. He was quick, efficient and I was very please at the timely response. Outstanding service!

Our Sears washer quit working. The first thing I did was call Sears and they sent one of their guys out who looked at our washer and said basically-- this washer is old and therefore too expensive to fix so just buy a new one. But instead of doing that we called our friend of many years and the owner of Appliance Depot. He came out the same day and very quickly diagnosed that what our washer needed was a part called a wigwag. The part was literally less than $5. With that part replaced, our machine worked just fine and continued to give us many more years of service. So basically Hank saved us the cost of a new washer and all the inconvenience that would have entailed. (Mind you, this was some years ago. Is Sears even in business anymore? 🤓 But after reading the two or three bad reviews that Hank has received-erroneously-I am sure, I decided to share just one of our many happy experiences with him.) In my opinion there is simply no one better in the industry than him!

My 6 year old dryer quit drying. Called Hank in the afternoon and he was here and fixed my dryer first thing the next morning. Very professional and reasonable. Recommend highly!!

My dryer stopped working on Friday and before noon on Saturday it was fixed! I left a message Saturday morning and Hank called back and was at home within 5 minutes. He fixed it quickly and on site and was so helpful and professional. Highly recommend!

This Christmas my wife and I had a house full of family visiting, which resulted in a great deal of laundry. On Saturday morning (the day before our trip out west) we finished all of our clothing and bed sheets and put those in the dryer. Well, the dryer did not work. We call Appliance Depot at 8:30 Saturday morning and talked with Hank. Hank asked us a number of questions about the dryer and told us he needed to check his truck for the suspected part and would call us back in about 15 to 20 minutes. True to his word, within 20 minutes we received a phone call and Hank said he had the part and he could stop by our home in about 30 minute. We agreed and about 30 minutes after he arrived the dryer was working. He stayed and answered all of our questions. Hank did an excellent job and the cost was very reasonable. We will use Hank and Appliance Depot again for any future appliance repair and we recommend him highly enough.

Our dryer stopped working and Hank got us scheduled very quickly. He was able to show up early and complete the repair in the morning so I didn’t even have to take time off work. The cost was very reasonable as well. I highly recommend this company. My husband and I will definitely be repeat customers if we need an appliance repaired in the future.
