So glad I went with Grey and Fireman's Choice! His work more than exceeded my expectations and I absolutely will be calling him again next time!
-- Grey promptly responded to my request for an appointment and was able to schedule me very soon (admittedly August might not be high season for chimneys but he called me within *hours* of my web request)
-- No fuss, on-time arrival
-- Clearly explained to me what he was going to do (inspection, then sweep) before getting started. Then shared his findings in a thorough, non-patronizing explanation. Knowledgeably discussed potential future purchases, without pressure, and patiently answered my million and one questions.
-- Cost of service was exactly as quoted via phone beforehand, and more than affordable
-- Was very friendly and professional throughout the visit

We are in a "new to us" house and have dealt with a dozen service professionals in the past 18 months. I wish every experience had been as pleasant and easy as working with Grey!

It was time to have our chimney inspected and cleaned and we asked friends for recommendations. Grey and Fireman's Choice was the favorite by far. He showed up on time (actually a little early) and did excellent work. He was very careful to make sure no dust got into the house as he cleaned the fireplace/chimney. He offered us suggestions on how to maintain a safe chimney and fireplace.

Gray is a very pleasant person and does an excellent job. He was very affordable and honest.

I would recommend him without any hesitation at all.

I don't do this lightly. One of your Drivers ran me off the road today at 2:50-2:55pm on 15-501 towards Durham down by exit 108A. They were trying pass a blue Subaru Outback on the inside lane. They had to see me, because the made an attempt to get over, but stopped and moved back into their lane, as if they saw me, then made the decision to try and pass the vehicle while i was still there. There is no telling how many other drivers had to deal with this, but I want your business to be aware of this and take appropriate action.

These guys are fantastic! I had both HVAC systems go down in one moth (upstairs & downstairs). On both occasions they answered my phone calls on the first call and installed the new units within 24 hours. I received multiple quotes and Premiere Mechanical was significantly cheaper than the others (I went with Trane units). Only took them a couple hours to do the install and they did a great job cleaning up after the work was completed. The crew was a great group of guys, same crew for both units and the owner was here for both installs. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what's going on and provide options. The other guys show up for 10 minutes, tell you that you need a new unit, charge you $130, then sick a pushy sales rep on you. This is my go to company for all things HVAC moving forward!

An absolute pleasure to do business with. I had to have my entire HVAC system replaced and did not know what to expect. If you are looking for a professional affordable and efficient HVAC company, this is the place. The owner was able to work me in for a quote the same day I called. They were able to provide service within 2 days of approving the estimate. The owner was kind enough to work around a holiday to get me a quote so I could make a decision about service. The cost of the service was below other companies that I had provide a quote. This place has the small business attention and detail with the comparable knowledge and professionalism of a larger company. Their communication was top notch and they did the job in a timely manner and they didn’t make a mess. We had an emergency at our suite of offices in Durham. They came out the same day repaired the ac. This was last summer when it was so hot. I meant to leave this review a long time ago, but you know how sometimes you get busy. I recommend you call these for any HVAC repair or issues. Thanks guys.

They were quick to respond and repaired a business unit quickly so they did not need to close. They will always be our first call.

Will charge you then tell you that there are no longer parts to repair and try to sell you a new one not making you aware before hand.

Hired Andy and his Team at Volt Doctors HVAC for my elderly mothers house in Wendell nc and sister in Lexington nc both received new units along with a mini split
Please if you want the best of the best call these folks and they will get you taken care of
Oh also they came and installed my ceiling fan on the back patio and love it love it

My Mother's heat went out on Sunday and I called Volt Doctor's on the way to lunch. By the time we were on the way home they had a technician on the way. Very friendly and great to work with. I would highly recommend.

AC went out over the 4th of July weekend. They sent a tech to my house in an hour! Matthew was super helpful and professional. Explained the problem and fixed it ASAP. Definitely using this company again!
