If you have foundation or crawlspace concerns this is the company to go with! Andrew came out to inspect my home. He was very knowledgeable and professional. It was easy to tell he loves his job. He did not play the role of a salesman like some other companies would have. He told me what could be improved on and was very thorough with his assessment of my property. Thank you very much for your honesty and for giving me peace of mind.

Mason Robertson came to consult on a water problem that we're having with a basement level unfinished closet. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the problem and was honest in informing me that his company could not help with the solution to this particular problem and that I would need an exterior fix. His professional assessment was appreciated and helpful in suggesting where to go next in search of a solution. Although I have not used the company, I would at least highly recommend them for the quality of their consultation.

At this point I’ve only gotten a quote. However, I wanted to leave a review pointing out the quality of Carolina Foundation Solutions. Mason Roberson came out. He was very personable and knowledgeable. After he did the inspection, he took the time to explain the findings and different options to solve the problem. His quote was fair and reasonable. Definitely recommend Carolina Foundation Solutions.

Carolina Foundation Solutions exceeded my most stringent expectations, from Gary McLamb the estimator when he arrived on short notice and provided a quotation within 24 hours to get us in under the wire of our due diligence time frame, to Miranda in scheduling who courteously answered my questions and efficiently got our project scheduled, to most importantly perhaps, Robert and his crew that did the actual work. Robert was a delight to work with. In this day and age it was so refreshing to work with Robert, who was a great communicator explaining the processes fully to me as well as patient and accommodating in answering a multitude of questions I threw out during the process. The crew was respectful and accommodating as a reflection of Robert I'm sure. Robert paid strict attention to detail and made sure that all of the project was completed as ordered and the results of their clean up was almost as they had never been there. I can wholeheartedly recommend Carolina Foundation Solutions without reservation.

Carolina Foundation Solutions has recently completed four jobs for my home--crawl space drainage and sump pump installation, floor joist support, crawl space vapor barrier and foundation helical piers. All contact with company personnel was professional and very good, all work was done on time when scheduled, work was done quickly and done well. Work crew personnel were efficient and very competent. I am quite pleased with the work Carolina Foundation Solutions has provided and would recommend this company to anyone needing the types of services they provide.

We were very pleased with every aspect of the foundation project. The salesman, the administrative staff, the construction and engineer crew and the owner of the company were all very kind, professional and helpful to us. We have had no problems with the basement since.

Crack in foundation causing my brick to crack. Excellent customers service and great work perform by the crew. I highly recommend them for everyone. Jim Hurd was the crew foreman. They worked fast and didn't fool around while working at my house

I cancelled a job I put a deposit of $10,826.95 down for because the sale of my home fell through. I cancelled on June 13th and I still haven't received my refund as of 8/19. We have reached out on 3 separate occasions. My wife and I have been told different stories by different people as to what happened, but not much of it is adding up. After holding our deposit for over two months the manager said-- "We cannot do anything more to compensate you." Apparently, it is being overnighted this evening. Sadly, my advice is to proceed with caution. I give 2-stars because they apparently still have the money to refund me, it could have been worse I suppose.

I can’t recommend Carolina Foundation Solutions enough. My crawlspace was in desperate need of maintenance, and a neighbor who had recently used them gave a glowing recommendation—so I decided to give them a call.

I had a few inspections from other companies, but most were clearly trying to upsell me on the most expensive encapsulation and drainage systems. When Brandon White, my inspector/project manager with CFS, came out, he took a refreshingly honest approach. He explained that while we could go all out with a complex system, my home’s location and layout really only required a basic encapsulation—and that if it were his home, that’s what he’d do. That honesty, combined with the neighbor’s recommendation, sealed the deal for me.

The installation process was smooth and efficient. Two different teams handled the job—led by Victor and Elliot—and both were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. At one point, one of the crews even managed to wrangle a 4–5 foot snake out of the crawlspace!

Brandon was always just a quick text away if I had any questions, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. If I ever move and need another encapsulation, they’ll be my first call.

Mason was great to work with. He was clear with his assessment and set proper expectations. He operated in a timely manner and it was a smooth process.

Everything with this company has been great. From the first phone call, to the visit to evaluate my crawl space, to the crew coming out to replace my vapor barrier. Everyone treated me and my property with care and respect. I appreciate their honesty and not just out to sell something that isn't needed. Mason took his time to test the humidity in my crawl space and the wood. He didn't only give his recommendation, but explain why he recommended it. He also explained in detail how their company would perform the recommended work. The crew showed up when expected and cleaned up and left everything neat and clean. This company also follows up to make sure their customers are happy with every part of their work. I'm very happy with the finished product and would highly recommend this company.

In the 3-1/2 years that I've lived in Pittsboro, I have worked with 20 contractors for various needs, and Carolina Foundation Solutions has certainly been one of the best! We hired CFS, after talking with competitors, for crawlspace encapsulation, and for floor stabilization. They were responsive, professional, dependable, fair priced, and excellent communicators that earned our business. From Mason who was low pressure sales and great tech support; to Miranda who was friendly and excellent with scheduling and coordination; to Sara who was great with insurance and billing, and Jordan and crew who did an excellent install being careful and respectful of our property, and was exceptional with job communication. I highly recommend Carolina Foundation Solutions from Burlington, NC.

Had a foundation wall issue with my shop, They were by far the most reasonable price around. The guys did a real good job securing the block wall even through the tremendous heat. Had a few minor issues beyond their control slow them up a day, but finished the job as quickly as possible. Also Daniel their rep was super nice and professional. Thanks!

Just had a great experience with Carolina Foundation Solutions. Andrew provided a clear overview of the options for a bowing basement wall and settling corner. Robert, Wesley, and Marvin did the work. Andrew knew the pros and cons for the solutions and explained them well. I am a tough-minded engineer and have very high standards for worksmanship. Robert, Wesley, and Marvin did a FANTASTIC job. They were punctual, thorough, and professional. They put in helical supports for the corner and carbon fiber straps for the bowing wall. I did not do any comparison pricing.

Roger came out to look at our property and provided his honest opinion. He advised some minor changes and addressed my concerns. Know you are in good hands if you work with Roger, and he will answer any question honestly and directly.

This company was once praised by my mother years ago, but my recent experience has been completely unprofessional and frustrating. After more than three weeks of run-around, they misplaced emailed photos and contact info, claimed the crew was unavailable for a site assessment, then admitted my mother’s records were “misplaced” and asked for her paperwork to find them again. Completely disorganized and unacceptable with lack of integrity. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Brandon was helpful and attentive to what we needed to fix our foundation. He was responsive and easy to work with. David and Adam did a wonderful job with the helical pier instillation. They finished earlier than expected and made neat work of it. Thank you!!

Overall a clean job. The expectations promised and the actual outcome was different. Salesperson said our floors would be brought up in the kitchen when they put the jacks in the crawl space. When the installer came who had years of experience told us there was no way he could do that without damage to the countertops walls and ceilings. I won’t know u til over time if they actually stabilized the floors from sinking further or not. They certainly identified the cause but did t deliver as promised. They shouldn’t send out folks to sell the services if they haven’t done themselves for a few years to know what they can actually accomplish.

Good points:
Inspection- Guy was very kind and informative. I enjoyed that interaction and felt like he educated me to make a decision instead of trying to sell me stuff- loved that approach.
Work crew (initial)- Really great. Lead guy Victor was tremendous, even called me a week after to check in and ensure I was happy with the work. Really enjoyed interacting with him.

Meh points:
Second crew- The fact they sent two separate crews out for a single project is disconcerting. I think continuity is important, and I had already established rapport with the first group.
They were nice enough but felt more like they just wanted to get it done and get out of there than do a great job- so "meh" on that.

Poor points:
Office. She rescheduled me initially because she "forgot about Labor day". Then when the first crew left for the weekend I was told they would be back out Monday to finish. Monday came and went- no contact. I reached out on Tuesday to the guy who did the inspection to ask. He did not return my message but I did finally get a call from the office Wednesday.
She was kind of rude when I asked why they didn't schedule everything up front and asked about no one coming Monday- "why would you expect that?" was her answer. Just unprofessional.
Second crew didn't come into the house to inspect their work/impact of their work. He told me "I just cranked everything as high as it would go, call if it seems off in a few weeks".
They also waited to tell me that I would need to pay an electrician to come out and install an outlet until after the job was done. How that isn't part of the quote and upfront information is just bad business in my book.
Also- Credit card fees are significant. I think it was 350 total in fees just to pay the damn invoice.

Summary:
I think it is a bit of a roll of the dice with this company. Depends on the crew and apparently how well the office can read a business calendar. Don't expect good communication from office, but if you're lucky the crew can be excellent, as was my experience with the first one. No way to validate the level of their work as they did not walk through it with me at the end, so everyone please cross your fingers with me I didn't just sink 13K into a house I bought 2 months ago for nothing with this company.

I had an awesome experience with Carolina Foundation Solutions on all fronts. I had a poorly protected crawl space with a thin vapor barrier making my house feel humid all summer. It was great getting to work with Mason and Devin throughout the process. They took care of the crawl space by encapsulating and placing a dehumidifier. Will work with them in the future if needed!
