First time using this company. Chet did a wonderful job servicing my air conditioner. He was on time as stated. Very professional and honest. Highly recommend his service.

AC stopped cooling around 10:30. Called Chet around lunch and he stated he could come out that evening. He got here a little earlier than expected. Said he checked out the AC and it was working. Explained what may have happened and said to keep an eye on it and call him if it happens again. Didn't charge me for that visit. Very prompt, professional and an all around good guy. Kinda hope we don't have to call him again bc that would mean more ACs problems, but will do it in a heartbeat.
It is difficult to find good, honest, hardworking people but we hit the jackpot with a quick google search.

Chet Thompson, the owner of Quality Counts, was very professional and showed up at the appointed time. I had called other HVAC companies and they could not figure out the issue with my unit. Quality Counts not only figured out the issue but saved me a lot of money by fixing, rather than, replacing a unit. I have nothing but positive to say about this experience. Quality Counts is the only HVAC or plumber I call.

Only reason I gave two stars instead of none is the fact the first visit was prompt.
He came out on a Saturday morning and replaced Freon. Told me I had a leak in the coils. He said he would check to see if still under warranty. He also advised me at the time that it probably be best to replace the whole unit. He was going to get back with me with prices and options. After a week of hearing nothing, I placed a call to him. He said he forgot but had my info in his truck and he would call me back. After two weeks of still not hearing back, I sent an email telling him I understood he was very busy and to just let me know something. Still no response.
I had my unit replaced this week by another company!

Chet is just the best! He was recommended by a friend when I was freaking out! My ac went out, and he had it replaced in no time during this hot heat wave. He did what he said he was going to do and was punctual, professional, KIND, and funny. Gave me the best price, and I took it!

We have been doing business with Chet Thompson for the last couple of years. He is always professional and he takes his time to explain everything. He is reliable and shows up when he says he will show up. We are relocating and are planning on having Quality Counts Mechanical service our new home too.

I recently moved into a rented townhouse where the previous tenant had messed with the electrical wiring themselves without letting the property manager know before moving out. Chet, the owner and electrician, was hired by the property manager to come check everything out. Not only were many outlets blown, but some were rewired odd and the A/C didn't work. Chet has come multiple times in the past three weeks I've lived here to make sure he gets the job done every time we notice something is wrong (as we continue to use stuff for the first time). Chet makes sure to explain what's wrong and how he's going to fix it. If he has to come back because he doesn't have the correct part, he comes back as soon as he can. He's truly dedicated to his line of work and his clients. I wouldn't want anyone else working on anything electrical or HVAC related! (He fixed the A/C immediately upon moving in, too, thank God!) I highly recommend him and his company.

Chet came out and replaced my water heater in a timely fashion, arrived in time and had the job completed ahead of planned schedule. Couldn't be happier with the service, price and promptness. I strongly recommend him if you need something with hvac or water heater fixed.

I would like to take a minute to sing the praises of CJ Thompson and his Business, Quality Counts Heating and AC service! ( qualitycountsmechanical.com ) Chet came to work on my AC today, I was so impressed with his Knowledge, Efficiency, and dependable service. I had another company come to look at my AC last week and they wanted well into the thousands of dollars to fix my system. Chet had it fixed and running like new with a little TLC and a couple hundred dollars! Amazing! I would highly recommend him to anyone needing AC work or service.

On one of the first hottest days of the year, our HVAC unit stopped working. I called Quality Counts and talked with Chet and he walked me through a couple of things over the phone and then told me he'd see me in the morning. He was right on time, got the unit working, and was an absolute delight to work with. I can't say enough good about him and his work and I highly recommend him to everyone!

I have been using Quality Counts Mechanical Service for the past 3 years and am very happy with Chet Thompson's service. I had been involved with one of the big heating and air conditioning services for years years before switching to Quality Counts. Strangely this particular business kept changing names, yet having the same staff and same numbers. With each business change, new charges started cropping up. We had paid $50/month for a "protection" plan, and suddenly, the company changed, there was no protection--yet the money kept being deducted. Chet was refreshing. No "protection plan" that obviously was a scam, just simply a flat fee once/year, and very fair prices for equipment that needs fixing and/or being replaced. He is open/honest and gives you choices. I highly recommend this company!
